Top notch hair transplant procedure experience. Very knowledgeable doctor who understands the value of patient care and experience. Very fortunate to have found Dr. Mousavi. I had 3000 grafts implanted using a FUE procedure. Dr. Mousavi did an outstanding job designing my new hair line and clearly explaining the rationale behind his approach. I felt very comfortable throughout and couldn’t be happier with my choice and the results this far.
Dr. Mousavi always takes the time to answer my questions thoroughly, and provides excellent care. Always a pleasure to talk to, it's obvious he really cares about his patients. I would highly recommend him.
My experience at Concord Hair Restoration is wildly different than these five-star reviews. The procedure was extremely painful. The techs, who performed the entire operation themselves, were rough and uncaring. (Dr. Mousavi has refused to give me the names and credentials of the techs who worked on me so I can verify that they were properly licensed.) I felt very sick when I got home and threw up. After the procedure, I was concerned with the result because the left side seemed three times thicker than the right side and the center insertions were spaced far apart. Dr. Mousavi told me that he himself would perform a second hair transplants to fix the results. He also told me that my concerns that it didn’t receive the full 2,000 transplants to the hairline was because the tech sometimes place multiple grafts in one incision spot. This has turned out to be my main complaint with the result. As you can see in the pictures attached, there are multiple hairs coming out of the incision spots as well as raised bumps. I’m considering electrolysis to fix this unnatural look. Another thing to note is the doctor was hours late to our virtual checkins and 50 minutes late to the in person checkin. I highly recommend checking out the Hair Restoration Network and doing more research before deciding which clinic you want to choose.
Although your hair job looks fine; it could definitely use more grafts and perhaps evening out your hair line. Since it has been a year, I believe you are fine for your next procedure. It is unfortunate you have to do it again, but at least it’s correctable.
Although minoxidil is a good adjunct to any hair loss regimen; you would most likely benefit from a hair transplant. FUE technology now makes it more appealing as well. You may want to consider PRP(platelet rich plasma) injections and see if you get satisfying results. But ultimately, the most noticeable and long lasting results would be from a hair transplant.
