Barry Lycka, MD - Account Suspended

Dr Barry Lycka's bedside manner was that of not only an experienced physician but sincere. His first comment to me besides a big "hello" and are you excited?....went on to tell me he wanted to give the absolute best results that I would like and.....that he is passionate to give them to me !..what a great start....my procedure was for liposuction on my stomach and hips then transfering fat to replace volume in my breasts....My age is 53...I am (i think ) in good shape for my age...exercise regularly..vegan yet not skinny...3 yrs post period and menopause...so my saddlebags would not go away despite my best efforts free weights ..bicycle in the summer..7,000 to 10,000 steps a day...this was my splurge for me to have results to coincide with my healthy lifestyle...and all my work put into it ( i have a sister who stays skinny..eats whatever she wants does not exercise..drinks and turns heads at 48..uhg....) It took a few hours...Dr Lyka continued to chat about what he was doing ....speaking about his nurse manager Wendy who was assisting and I could feel her massaging my legs even though I was falling asleep...so even though not fully cognitive, hearing every word of their working conversation...my feeling of trust and comfort from beginning to end

I hit a midlife crisis. Although I worked out, no amount of exercise or dieting would help me. So I looked around. I saw several doctors before I settled on Dr. Barry Lycka. I am very glad I did. He is truly a remarkable doctored a great surgeon. I just saw my before and after pictures and cannot but be amazed by the results. Thank you, thank you and thank you.

work out lots, couldn't shake my c section overhang Saw Dr lycka and decided to go ahead with the procedure. Got my belly abdomen flanks and under my bra strap done at his insistence I initially just wanted my abdomen done but he said it wouldn't look right over time. The nurse I had Ashley was incredible so supportive throughout the whole procedure. I just had this done with local anesthetic so the freezing process hurt like a tattoo and most of the suctioning was fine could just feel a bit of pressure except both my sides up high and just above my hips I just used my labor breathing through it. Drive home was fine after freezing was still in. Next morning felt sore but nothing I couldn't deal with. Took my dressing off 24 hours after the procedure did a quick wash but was still draining and felt awful with the compression dressing off so put more dressings and compression dressing back on. I don't have my before pics yet I'll get them on my follow up visit. I was given Librium to take 3 pills after my procedure they made me super nauseas but gravol took care of that. Hopefully each day gets less sore my fingers are crossed I marked the was it worth it as not sure, I'm waiting till swling goes down before I decide! Lots more bruising today all over ranging from yellow to dark blue/purple. Still sore on the sides and around the belly button area a bit, no more draining so I'm dressing free today just down to my compression garment and polysporin on each of my holes after cleaning them with saline!

Sides are still sore all along them yellow bruises too which explains the soreness!!! Still swollen especially abdomen but can start seeing the swelling go down on my upper sides!

Extremely Friendly, Helpful and Professional. Dr. Lycka and his staff are extremely friendly, helpful and professional. My impression is that they genuinely want to help their patients feel better about themselves. I am happy with every aspect of my treatment; particularly the results. I look and feel great. This is one of the nicest things I've ever done for myself and I will definitely use Dr. Lycka's services again.

I was always hiding my turkey neck and after the procedure, I don't even think about it anymore. When I turned 50 I started to gain weight and could not lose the rolls on my tummy. My first encounter with Dr. Lycka was at a seminar where he explained many of the services that he offiers. I had a consultation with Dr. Lycka, where he took the time to explain what the procedure would entail, and what I could expect. After years of dieting and exercising, I went in for the liposuction. At first, I didn't see the extent of the results, but after a few months, I loved the slenderness of my body shape. Dr. Lycka also used Juvederm and Restylane for my sagging face, and once again, I was in awe of the way I looked following the procedure. We all deserve to look and feel our best, and Dr. Lycka is actually thrilled when you're thrilled!

I have alwasy had a tummy and after 2 kids, it became impossible to try and flatten it. I knew that the only way to get serious results was through laser lipo, and I was right! The results were almost immediate. My clothes fit differently, my figure looks amazing- this procedure has given me the confidence to continue to strive to better myself. Hey everyone. I am 24 yrs old and had a child 6 months ago. While pregnant I balloned up to 218 lbs. I am now 160 lbs and plan to lose another 10 before the procedure. I know that I am deffently getting my upper and lower abs done and maybe my love handles and bra roll. I have a large muffin top that despite my best efforts in the past have never been able to get rid of it. I have alot of stretch marks and am wondering what they will look like after the smart lipo. Has anyone had smart lipo with stretch marks???

I am so excited. I am hoping to get in a bikini when I go on my honeymoon in March, and my wedding dress in December. I was quoted over the phone 6000 to 12000.
