I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Sanderson for 20 years now and continue to go back to her because of her excellence in service. She is a perfectionist at her craft and incredibly knowledgeable. I truly enjoy her bedside manner which is genuinely caring. She’s unique because she not only does incredible work but she makes you feel like family. I now receive my Botox and filler from her and admire her skilled surgeons approach. Thank you Dr. Sanderson for making feel fabulous inside and out!
She is the most talented personable and fantastic breast surgeon out there! She listens to everything you say and I love how she looks at your whole body height weight, hip, waist and shoulder width to decide what is the best implant for you. You can be assured you will get the perfect Implants that fit your body perfectly! Like you were born with them!
Nineteen years ago Dr. Sanderson gave me a much needed tummy tuck. I was thrilled with the results and i still am. Dr. Sanderson is a very personable doctor and so is her staff. Almost 20 years later i am thinking of getting a face and eye lift. Thank you for such a great experience and i hope to see you soon.
I should have it known that when I had BA, I consulted 6 different surgeons. It was quite lengthy but the second I met Dr. Sanderson, I knew she was the one. I forced myself to visit one more doctor after her (the 6th one) but I still knew she was going to be the one. I went with 500CC High Projection Round smooth submuscular with inframammory incision. Surgery was a breeze and my now husband took me home and took care of me for the first few days. I probably got off the pain pills within a week or so and then had to deal with all of the constipation they caused. Stool softeners helped but I still had a good amount of stomach/intestinal pain for about 2 weeks after the surgery. The boobs themselves turned out amazing! Every month that went by they got softer and softer and I love them SO MUCH. Of all the operations I've had this was probably my most treasured. My only annoyance nowadays is I wear a sleeping bra to bed. She stressed that to keep them from bottoming out (because of their weight) I needed to keep them secure as much as possible. But I would do it all again in a heartbeat. And I'm writing this 3 years later so you can imagine my satisfaction. ;)
I purchased a Jenu from my laser treatment center in late April. I am 41 years old, take great care of my skin, but have been unable to improve my dehydration under my eyes, fine lines or dark circles with fillers, lasers or high end creams. Jenu has changed that! I saw an improvement in 3 weeks. The treatment process is very easy, fast and theraputic! The added bonus of hydrating and eliminating fine lines on your lips has been a pleasant surprise! My husband asked me this am, "Have you done something to your lips, they are so juicy?!" He has never asked said one word about my regime in 20 years! Thanks to the creators of Jenu!!
Years at the gym would'nt undo pregnancy and a c-section
Scheduled appointment to have surgeon review 11 year old implants one with excessive scar tissue. Also this one had a recent draining cyst. Dr. Sanderson scheduled an immediate surgery to remove the implant so that I would be more comfortable and in less pain. Office staff worked hard to get all needed personnel scheduled that day so that i did not have to drive the 80 miles and hour and a half drive home.
I had thought about getting breast implants since I was in my early 20's. It was a big decision for me, and took many years of contemplation before I was ready. Finally, at 39 years old I was ready emotionally and financially and started to ask around for referrals from woman who had the surgery done. Over the years I have been to 5-6 consultations at different cosmetic surgeon's offices around the northwest. I never had a preference for a male or female doctor, but it just so happened that all of the docs I saw were male. While they were polite enough, and I'm sure skilled, they all seemed to protray a kind of 'blase' attitude towards me and the procedure. I just attributed this to the fact that they have done so many breast augmentations that they were bored talking about it. At each consultation, I spent about 20 min with the surgeon himself. I didn't know anything different. I have a friend who had her breast augmentation done over ten years ago. They still look amazing, and I asked her where she got them done. She referred me to Dr. Aysel Sanderson in Kirkland. She raved about Dr. Sanderson, so I made an appt. When I went in for the consultation, it was a completey different experience!! She spent so much one-on-one time with me. I was so impressed with this. She was informative, caring, honest, and genuinely passionate about her work! I could tell that she cared deeply about me, how my results would effect me, and really dove deep to find out what my concerns were, and what I really wanted! I have worked in healthcare for over fifteen years, and I can appreciate the value of how she treats her patients. Truly a class act. I had the surgery done in May. I am EXTREMELY happy with the results! And something else that suprised me...everytime I return to the office for a post op, she spends just as much quality time with me as she did on that first consultation. She is calm and receptive and you never get the feeling that she is rusing off to another patient. She gives you her full attention. Two times I have mentioned her name to other healthcare professionals in the area, they always say the same thing, "Oh, yes, Dr. Sanderson is very well respected in the field." To me that just confirms my feeling that she is an amazing doctor. I feel so incredibly lucky to have found her. And I am so happy I waited until now to have the procedure done, it was worth the wait! I highly recommend her, and have the utmost trust in her.
For the first time in my life I don't have the lower ab hanging over. After kids it started looking like a mushroom. I'm 9 months PO and I'm finally feeling good. Recovery was very tough. I still hurt when I cough, sneeze or stretch. I still don't sleep through the night because it hurts when I roll over. It's all worth it. My husband say's my stomach is as flat as a teenager's. It's awsome and everyone say's I'm not the same person I was 9 months ago. Would do it again even with the pain and lousy recovery!

I have been using mostly IDEAL structured saline implants since they became available approximately a year ago (Sept 2015). I have been augmenting breasts since 1991 and have seen every possible long term problem with breast implants over my career. I had always stated that the perfect breast implant does not exist, however the IDEAL implants are as close as it gets to the perfect breast implant. As a female plastic surgeon, I understand the connection of my patients with their breasts at a different level. Patients have always stated that they want the look and feel of their augmented breasts to be natural. The natural looking augmented breast can be achieved with any brand of implant regardless of what the implant is filled with. The dimensions of the patient's breast and the diameter of the implant are the important factors in achieving a natural look. The natural feel is dependent on the amount of "padding" the patient has, ie patient's own natural tissue, as well as, the feel of the implant. In the past, silicone implants felt softer and more natural compared to saline implants, provided the capsule around the implant did not contract. However, there are some negatives with silicone implants: silent rupture requiring MRIs of the implants every 2 years to look for a leak, and increased capsular contracture. Single lumen saline implants feel firmer compared to silicone and have the issue of rippling, particularly in a patient with very little breast tissue. The IDEAL implants have the advantages of both implants of the past without the disadvantages! The structuring has improved the feel of the implant and minimized the rippling! They are filled with saline, so if there is a leak, the patient knows by noticing the decrease in volume of the leaking implant. MRIs are not necessary to check the integrity of the the implant. The replacement of the implant is easy because there isn't any free silicone to clean out.My patients love the feel and look of the IDEAL implants! We finally have a breast implant that fits all my criteria for my patients.I strongly believe that any woman desiring breast augmentation should consult with multiple surgeons. Be sure to pick surgeons who have different preferences in implants so you can hear all different sides and make your own informed choice. Definitely consult a surgeon who has experience with the IDEAL implant as part of your research. These implants, in my personal opinion, are the closest we have to the perfect breast implant!
Board certification by an accredited Board is an important qualification to check for prior to signing up for surgery. If this surgeon is indeed Board Eligible, he will never be able to become Board Certified because raffling off surgery is against our Board ethics. Although Board Certification does not guarantee results for any surgical procedure, it at least guarantees that the surgeon has had appropriate training and has passed rigorous testing to become Board Certified. It is foolish in my opinion to trust your body to a surgeon without these credentials. It is also important to make sure that the Board Certification is from an accredited Board. As an example, the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery is NOT AN ACCREDITED BOARD. It is an organization that was formed by physicians from various specialties, who decided to certify themselves to do cosmetic surgery. Their members' training is extremely variable! Good luck convincing your friend!
The anatomy of the abdominal wall from the outside in consists of skin, fat, fascia, muscle, peritoneum, and intestinal cavity. The fascia actually envelops the midline abdominal muscles and is attached to the rectus muscles.. Whether anything is done to the fascia or not, the incision is carried down to the fascia. If the abdominal wall needs to be addressed, sutures are placed in the fascia to tighten it. These tightening sutures pull the abdominal muscles with it. These sutures are not used if the abdominal wall is not lax, (skin only tummy tuck).
Based on your photos, you would be served much better with a full tummy tuck. A mini tummy tuck only removes a small amount of skin from the lower abdomen and corrects laxity of the lower abdominal wall only. Based on your photos, you have significant laxity of both your upper and lower abdominal wall. Correcting only the lower abdomen with a mini tummy tuck would also give your abdomen an unbalanced appearance.
ArteFill, manufactured by Suneva Medical, Inc, is an FDA approved non-absorbable injectable filler used to add volume in areas of the face such as nasolabial folds. It is a combination of bovine collagen (from cowhide), and polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) microspheres. The microspheres are non-absorbable. As the body is metabolizing the bovine collagen, it is making new native collagen around the PMMA microspheres. In this way the new collagen produced in response to the PMMA replace the bovine collagen. It has been shown in long term clinical studies that the appearance of nasolabial folds actually improves over a period of time. If you are interested in injectable fillers, I recommend trying one of the absorbable injectables prior to ArteFill. This will give you an opportunity to see if you like the look prior to having a non-absorbable product injected. In addition, since some individuals are allergic to bovine collagen, you must get a skin test prior to an ArteFill injection.
