I had a good experience with this doctor he is nice and respectful I really didnt talk much in person only twice the first time he went right to it to draw me what I needed in my body I wish I had more time to sit and actually told him what kinda of shape I was aiming for , but it was all fast since he had other patients waiting , overall I do recommend this doctor for natural results very professional.

I cant believe in less than 2 weeks i will have my dream body :). I am so excited, however extremly nervous about the procedure and recovery. I have had csections with all my children and my youngest is 2 months. Sooooo nervous about being reCUT open again in the same spot. I know.6 people that have went to Dr.Aquino and they all look amazing. Is anybody going the week of the 19th and does anybody have any good tips for me ? Ps : my 30th birthday is august 3rd and i planned on taking an exciting vacation but as per the reviews its not looking like a good idea. Updated on 11 Jul 2016: Hi ( from the flat side) :-) im going to be posting pictures today. Everything went great in DR and Aquino and his staff could not have been more amazingggg... I ended up chickening out with the tummy tuck and only getting full body lipo with the fat transfer, however i am.sooooo pleased with the results so far. In January i will be going back to aquino for my tummy tuck and even considering a lift. One thing nobody talks about is HOW MUCH PAIN IT IS !!! the healing process is brutal smh i never would have expected to be this sore. Everyday that goes on i feel so much better though. And i cant wait until the swelling goes down even more. The recovery is def a process and im glad i decided to do my surgery in 2 differnt procedures for various reasons. I will keep posting photos as the swelling goes down. Im annoyed now about having to pay for the lyphatic massages but they do feel sooo good lol. Just expensive. Also, the recovery house was like a breath of fresh air! Everybody was so nice and we were treated like queens. Def staying there when i go back. Updated on 12 Jul 2016: Dr.Aquino was sooo amazing, and his staff was as well. He was so patient with me and i feel like he really did quality work. He took his time with answering all my questions and making sure I felt completly comfortable. I even had questions once I got home and he was responsive and helpful. His assistant Cynthia was very helpful and friendly as well. Updated on 12 Jul 2016: im really thinking when i go back for my TT about enhancing my butt. I have 2 kids and after I had my second child my stomach had a lot of stretch marks and very saggy and my self of esteem was very low. I was very depress with my body and I knew I needed a change. I needed to have a tummy tuck to fix my body. After I have decided to do it I went to DR I was bit nervous but after I spoke to the Dr asmin I was very excited to get this procedure done. Updated on 5 Jun 2016: Well ito been a month and 2 week after surgery and I feel great.well my back still hurts alittle from the liposuction but my tummy tuck scar is healing very well and I have no pain what's so ever.I'm still a little swollen but I know it take time for the swellingness to go down completely.
I am scheduled to have my tt done on 3/30/15 @ Mount Sinai (ENT ) in NYC by a post graduate fellow. I am very nervous and don't know what to expect as everyone's experience and body is different. I have two questions for anyone who has already had a tt done. 1. I have a trip scheduled to go over seas on a family vacation on 6/1/15 is it safe to say that I can still go on this trip? 2. Has anyone had there tt done at a teaching hospital in New York City if so how did it go... Updated on 21 Mar 2015: So based on a whole lot of research on RS With before and after photos I have decided to have my surgery done in Santo Domingo By Dr Aquino at CECIP on 3/30/15. Updated on 30 Mar 2015: So the doctor tells me that I am cleared for surgery tomorrow morning !!!! Hemoglobin levels 14.4???????????????? Updated on 17 Apr 2015: The Night prior to surgery I spent the night at CECIP . Which is located right across the street from la Presidencia Republica Dominicana -Santo Domingo. The Clnic is Extremely Clean and very much modern the staff is very friendly. Your room is not your typical Hospital Room it's more like a Suite in a hotel with a hospital bed. So that night I could not sleep I was nervous to the 10th Power Rightfully so. I decided to take a really long shower and Shave etc... Since I was informed that after surgery I would not be able to take a shower for at least a week... The next morning bright and early my PS Dr. Aquino Asmin came in to my room with his Assistant Dra. Roman and Marked me up took my Pictures and Gave me my Surgery Clothes to put on and informed me that I would be going down to the Operating Room in 10 Minutes. When the Nurse came in to get me with a wheel chair and wheeled me to the Operating Room on the 2nd floor. We got to these silver double door she rang the bell and we were buzzed in. Omg, my heart beat was going a 1000 beats a minute I looked around as we entered and saw many different operating rooms at least 10. The Nurse wheeled me into a room where I was greeted by the Anesthesiologist who told me to sit on the operating table and started an (IV) line on my Left hand before I could even look around a second time I was knocked out. I got to the Operating room @ 6:18am and woke up back in my room at 12:57pm Yes I made it the flat side my surgery was a success ...Thank you Jesus ???????????? I woke up with no pain just a little nausea I thru up twice which did cause me some pain in my abdomen. I still had the IV line in my hand they were giving me lots of Fluids and Pain Med thru the IV line so I was completely num and pain free. "Hallelujah" I also had a drain and catheter on... I got my Tummy Tuck/Back & Arms Lipo done almost 3 weeks ago. A little info with my surgery recovery experience, let me tell you the first week was horrible! It was very very very uncomfortable. I had to depend on everyone for EVERYTHING. So please, if you're going to get surgery done, I recommend you have someone caring and patient with you at all times. I experienced discomfort and soreness while getting on the bed, getting up from bed, especially after having done no type of motion for a certain amount of time (mornings), walking (since you basically have to hunch while walking -in skiing position), going to the bathroom, and when you laugh, sneeze or cough..you WILL see stars due to the excruciating pain around your abdomen/scar area. I swear I asked myself why I put myself thru this. (But I promise this phase passes-and fairly quick) Lots of bruising (none on my tummy, all were on my back and arms due to lipo). I had & still have to sleep on my back. I also couldnt shower the first week, just use baby wipes and my drains were removed after week 1. Week 2 went much smoother. The stitches were taken off at that time. I was able to do little things on my own with less help. Like walking more straight, which alleviated the back pain, lifting myself up from bed and minor things. I was also able to start showering too which was great. Im now on almost 3 weeks and last night I was able to do a little dancing, but veey light bc I did tire easily. Everyday does get better. Im still wearing my girdle, which are tight shorts and high waisted. My abdomen area is wey bulky and hard at this time due to healing process, but i heard this should go down in a couple of weeks. My abdomen area where scrbis located is also numb, although my aides arent anymore. I still have fat on my back although the rolls have resuced dramatically. The current rolls I have now after surgery are super hard and hurt a lot. I kindda get a soreness feeling and its super stiff. Im undergoing massages now so they will loosen up and keep going down with time, hopefully. Im going to load pics frm first and second week (with girdle on) Before surgery pics will be coming soon. Any questions, please ask. :)
So I'm finally making a profile. This site helped me with my decision. I was 230 lbs and 5'7. I had a baby last march and i hate my post baby body. I've done every cheat diet, fat burner, medical weight loss pills and boot camp there is and spent a lot of money along the way. I wasn't motivated so nothing really worked. I am 2 days post op and I am SORE!!!! I never thought I would have the balls to do this but I did it. Hey, I never thought I would have the balls to travel to a foreign country, but I did. As I lay here I'm not sure if it was worth it yet. I can't really tell what I look like yet. I wasn't sure what to expect in coming here. But I was pleasantly surprised. So far everything is as described during the phone/email consultation. I will be sure to share pics and update as the days go by and also I will post a list of things I packed or wish I did. Btw, I hate this faja!!! Updated on 24 Mar 2014: Ok so I'm freaking out because I stalked this site trying to find negative reviews for my doctor and I couldn't find any. Well....yesterday I stumbled upon a really bad review. This girl said she got her surgery this week and the doctor did a botched job. I started freaking out. Of course, everyone suggested that she give it time for the swelling to go down. I tried to take my faja off to see if I noticed any results but not only could I not see anything, I almost fainted at the site of the cut and bloody gauze. I started to hyperventilate but I calmed down enough to close it back up and make it to the bed. So....I'm praying for the best results. My arms look like beat up slab meat. This drain is annoying, but I'm glad I have one. My faja is tight but I don't feel like this was the best one for me. It has a zipper and one row of snaps. It also has bra-like straps that are digging into my arms and back, on which I had lipo. I received my sx on fri and today is the first day I combed my hair or cared to come out of my room for fresh air. I finally decided to put on underwear over my faja last night but idk if that was a good idea because when I woke up in the middle of the night to pee, I forgot that I had them on and I urinated on myself. Uhhhh! Oh did u know that you are not allowed to flush toilet tissue here in DR. Oooops! Most of the things I packed I will never use. Complete and utter waste. I have the worst headache of my life. I think it's a mixture of sleeping flat my back and the strong anti biotics that I'm taking. I can't sleep during the night and as soon as I doze off someone wakes me up. Ok so.... About the recovery house, JM Medical Spa.- it is very nice and the staff accommodates your needs. They offer massages but I don't want anyone touching me. It cost $90 per day and you get 3 meals per day with a snack. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was in the room by myself . Everything is super clean and the decor is cool. My only complaint is that once you arrive you have walk up a flight of stairs. The lady literally feeds you like a baby if you are weak. I only needed that the first day there. I don't remember the first day after sx. I slept the day away. I do remember waking up during sx and crying. The nurses soothed me back to sleep. Prior to my sx I did all my tests the same day. I remember seeing the infamous Dr. Yily and when see walked thru everyone stopped like she was a celebrity. She is very pretty with a nice body. I contemplated using her but my final decision was Aquino. I'm tired now, I'll be sure to update you guys later. Updated on 24 Mar 2014: These are my before pics. 230 5'7 I met some girls today at the rh. One girl went to Yily and her shape looks great. I'm going to keep the faith and patiently wait to see the changes after the swelling goes down. I also put on a wife beater today under my faja along with pads along my incision. Word of advice ladies, if you sit in your room in the dark you will feel like [RS bleep]. I ate dinner at the tAble with other ppl and it made such a difference. Even if u don't feel like being social just take a walk. Also make sure u wash your face and brush your teeth and try to comb your hair. I know that sounds like a given but I didn't wanna do anything and today I did and I felt better. It also helps that I took one of my own pain pills. The pain pills they give you SUCK!! The antibiotics is super strong and will make u feel like [RS bleep] if u take it on an empty stomach. I love my rh but I think they need more staff. At 90$ a day I don't want to wait for anything or be igged . That's not the overall for everyone here but this one lady is always MIA. That is unacceptable because of calling you I might really be in trouble. Plus this morning I was super hungry and light headed, she sent me toast and juice. Then I called her for something else and she never came. She said "me voy". The owner Jacqueline is super nice and accommodating. I love when she is here. Don't get me wrong this is a great place to stay but this one lady is pissing me off. And when I was screaming out in pain she was laughing. I want to complain but I'm not in any condition for someone to mistreat me or hurt me. So I wrote a list of everything I want for tomorrow and I gave it to the owner. She looked surprised as if I should get these things automatically. She assured me I would have them. I'll post pics of the rh. The owner should promote this place better. It's really nice. Also I figured out y my head is hurting....no coffee. I have at least a cup a day and I've missed it since Friday. Hoping that I get some in the morning. I'm about to go to bed now. I'm going to decide if I'm going to get massages or not. And I'll dream about taking a shower. I wish !!! Updated on 25 Mar 2014: So... I had my coffee today. Yayyyyy! Still had a headache when I woke up but the coffee helped. I took my faja off for a second to use the br and I'm not as bent over. I want to start some massages tomorrow but my dr assistant advised me not to. So...I'm gonna get a facial instead and I'm going to buy a new faja for $120 before I leave. Word of advice ask to see the faja they are going to put u in after surgery because u need one with wide shoulder straps and and adjustable hooks. I already feel like my faja is not as tight. I just called and asked could I get a different one because I'm not happy with it but I didn't get any resolution. I'll wait to address it at my appt on Friday. Updated on 3 May 2014: New me Updated on 3 May 2014: Down 25 lbs Updated on 3 May 2014: I think something went wrong. Went to do a few massage. I think perhaps the paraffin was left in my incision maybe it's infected. Idk. I had a c section last ur and I don't recall it healing this way. I'm using the ointment. I just reached out to the doc and I've been using the iodine. So we shall she. Updated on 27 Jun 2014: Updated on 28 Jun 2014: 3 months later and I'm still dealing with people that arent happy with the new me and why should they be. They aren't happy with themselves. It's easy to recognize these ppl. They give a compliment attached to a dig. They tell everyone that you had surgery. Oh and is it me or is everyone all of a sudden # teamnatural. That is a dig. I'm natural too. Naturally smart enough to know it was time to take my fat ass to DR and make change.???? lol just venting for a second. My family supports me now that they see that I look good and I'm going to the gym. I've thought about going back to DR. But idk if that's a good idea. I think that I should just think this jump start and make the best of it. If I can't make it work with this then I'll just be one those ppl I always say I never want to be. You know the ones that get surgery and bed up bigger than they were to begin with. Ughhhhh. Updated on 29 Jun 2014:
I had my tummy tuck, full body lipo and fat transfer to my butt on 10/1/2013. DR. Aquino gave me exactly what I asked for. I love my new body and I know once I heal I will be even more happier. He was professional, polite and answered all of my questions. I will recommend him to anyone considering to travel to D.R. fir plastic surgery. His staff is knowledgable, professional and they are always responsive. DR. Aquino is also tall dark and handsome with a beautiful smile.

Updated on 7 Nov 2013: Im at Jackqueline's recovery house and the ladys are soooooooo sweet. They check on you a lot. Very Sweet.
If the three procedures could be done together, as long as you apply and meet the necessary requirements, for this it is necessary to evaluate it either by photos or video call.
Good afternoon, from what we can see in your photos, you need abdominoplasty, 360 liposculpture and gluteal lipoinjection.
Thanks for writing to me. Is it important to know if any type of study such as sonomanography has been carried out?
For what I can evaluate in from your pictures, you need Liposuction of your Upper and Lower back, Abdomen and Sides of your abdomen (Flanks); the fat can be transferred to your buttocks. I would need to evaluate you in person, just to make sure that with your pregnancies your skin is not flaccid if that is the case you may need additional procedures.
