Your injector may decide to do this augmentation over two session instead of one to reduce swelling and down time. It is hard to know exactly how much filler without seeing you in person but I can confidently estimate this change would take approximately 1.5 mL's of lip filler product. You may also want to consider asking your injector to use a microcannula to reduce your risk of bruising. The lips are very vascular, meaning that bruising is likely. I would also suggest avoiding blood thinners like aspirin prior to this procedure (if your doctor says that is ok).
First, congratulations! Areas of induration (hardness) can indicate you are going to get an Amazing result from your Sculpsure treatment. You are correct, Sculpsure kills the fat cells, but it doesn't do anything to move the dead fat cells. Sometimes these can clump up and become palpable lumps. You really need to use forceful manual massage to get these lumps moving. I recommend doing this in a lymphatic massage pattern, always moving towards your heart. Try to do this vigorously twice daily. That can be tiring for your hand so I also suggest using a Clarisonic (put the new massage head on it) twice a day directly on the lump.
Hello, First, I'm so sorry that you are having complications after Kybella. Our clinic has done hundreds of Kybella treatments and thankfully we have yet to see this happen, but injury to the myelin sheath of the nerve is a well known risk of Kybella. Luckily usually the tincture of time is the best remedy for this. Meaning even if you don't do anything this should resolve in 5 months, if not sooner. Doing a light circular massage on the lower face and jaw, along with a healthy diet protocol with lots of Vitamin C and protein, should help your body make the repairs you are surely anxious for. From the first photo you uploaded it does indeed look like the buccal fat may have been treated. Although from the photo with the needle the areas that have been circled (not the dots) do not include buccal fat. I'm not certain if the injector did all the dots or just the areas that are circled. Don't be scared to schedule a Follow up with your injector to ask. If the buccal fat has been treated a few Sculptra's can be added to restore lost volume. But definitely wait a full three months (not 2) before deciding to make any tweaks with filler, you may love it exactly as it is now. Best of luck
Hello, This is an easy fix. You have a difference in strength between your lip levator muscle on your left and right side. Because of this you are compensating with the surrounding musculature. An experienced injector should be able to assess and fix this problem for you in 1-2 visits.
Have you tried Rhofade? This is actually Allergan's newest acquisition. Allergan is the company that makes Botox and they buy everything that works amazingly well. I often start patients on Rhofade and do a series of 3 IPL's. The IPL's help more with the redness that you mentioned doesn't go away. Also, intradermal Botox (sometimes called a Botox facial) works amazing well on facial flushing.
