Dr. Valdez personally checked in on me twice the evening of my surgery to make sure I was comfortable and being cared for. A nurse stayed with me throughout the first night in the hospital, and in the following days, a team of wonderful nurses regularly cleaned my incisions, checked on my healing, and made sure I was comfortable. They even provided transportation to all four of my post-op appointments. Every step of the way, I felt supported, safe, and cared for. What impressed me most is Dr. Valdez’s modern, expert approach. I didn’t need to be wrapped up like in the traditional methods, and I had no pain—truly no need for painkillers. He emphasized trusting the body’s ability to heal, and he was absolutely right. At 57 years old, I wanted a refresh to address the natural aging process—jowls, skin laxity, and the downward shift of the face—and the results are incredible. 100% amazing experience. From start to finish I felt confident and safe with the team of Dr. Valdez. The Amerimed Hospital and staff and surgery team made me feel comfortable and at ease. (I even liked the food). During recovery I saw the Dr. every 2-3 days and the mobile nursing staff was available to me everyday. They took care of my schedule and my medication. All I needed to do was settle in and start to heal.

My experience with Dr.Valdez was amazing from start to finish. He has a professional team that works alongside him to make sure all the logistics (like the shuttle from the airport and transportation to all the appointments are taken care of and includedin the price of the surgery). He performed surgery on my eyes and I am very satisfied with the results.

I have been a registered nurse for over 30 years, and I have had experience with many types of doctors: doctors who are excellent, doctors who are mediocre, doctors who should have taken a different career path. After 9 months of research, speaking to several plastic surgeons from the US, from Mexico and from South Korea, I chose Dr Valdez as my plastic surgeon. I liked his collaborative approach which made me feel like we were in this together. He is a board certified plastic surgeon with multiple credentials, and is constantly updating his skills. He is always learning the cutting edge information in his field by attending trainings and conferences. The entire staff is bi-lingual, they speak English and Spanish. I did not experience any pain on any of the procedures that were done. All the operative sites were hidden so you could not see them. Dr Valdez’ warmth and bedside manner is very professional, and comforting. He educates his patients and at the end of each appointment, he always asks, “Do you have any more questions?” He reassured me I could have all my procedures done with local injections, and IV sedation, rather than using general anesthesia, which I preferred. I had my blood drawn, had a chest x-ray, saw the cardiologist and had all my medical clearance done before surgery. From the medical assistants, to the nurses and cardiologist, I received outstanding care. The anesthesiologist came to me before the surgery and reassured me that she would be with me every step of the way, and make me comfortable. Doctor asked me for pictures of when I was younger, so he could give me a youthful, natural look: he also took a multitude of photos, in different angles and positions. I will now review all the procedures I had done one by one as a separate entry so it is easier to look up by procedure. Deep plane face and neck lift surgery. I finally got rid of my “turkey neck,” some of the deep wrinkles and fine lines that plagued me for the last 10 years have vanished. When I look in the mirror I no longer see that old haggard person. I received an amazing natural-looking jaw line, neck and face. When I look at my face now, I see a natural result, not a pulled or frozen look. The nurses were all empathetic, knowledgeable, competent and caring. Anna and Marlen, two of the nurses, provided me with excellent, personal care. Aurora, a medical assistant, with whom I had the most contact, kept in contact with me through emails since day 1 of my pre-op. The accommodations were phenomenal; I had what can best be called a studio apartment. I had my own kitchen, with a refrigerator, coffee pot, stove, pots and pans, a pitcher, including dishes, forks, spoons, etc. I had a spacious bedroom, with a king size bed, night stand, chairs, a dinette, and a wardrobe for my clothes. I had a huge shower; shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand wash were all provided. Valeria, who was in charge of my accommodations, was always available for any questions or errands. She would shop for me or take me to any place for food or supplies. Gaby was a personal cook. For an extra fee, she came to my room and cooked for me, whatever I needed. She was very sweet and helpful, and her meals were delicious. I highly recommend Dr Valdez, if you are seeking a natural, rejuvenated look. If you’re looking for a safe place, with great accommodations, competent help and the best care anywhere, Dr Valdez is a magnificent choice. Combining his expertise, and knowledge, with his meticulous detailed surgical skill and artistry.
