Office review: unprofessional - don't waste your time

Steer clear! I believe the office staff is a reflection of the surgeon. Walked out before I could even see Perry. The front desk and assistant staff were absolutely awful - disheveled, uninformed, unprofessional and could barely communicate. They double booked me with another patient at the exact same time and after over 30 minutes past our appointment time, they came to the waiting room to tell us, "Dr. Perry is on his way." We tried to say, on his way from where? How long until he arrives? I had to pick up my son from school in an hour, the other patient had someone waiting for her in the parking garage. The staff could not tell us anything except, "I don't know, this is what I was told to tell you." A woman finally calls me to come in an examination room, I asked, is Dr. Perry here? She said no, but I needed to her first. This woman's appearance was a fright, and her verbal communication was so broken I could not understand a word that was coming out of her mouth. She finally turned the water on in the sink and was telling me I had to wash my hands. Why? She said, you just need to wash your hands. I've seen numerous physicians in-person during Covid and having to wash my hands once I was in the exam room was a first. I had been sitting in the waiting room for over an hour, now I'm in an exam room for surgery on my eyes, the doctor is not even in the office and I have to wash my hands? I walked out. I can't imagine going under anesthesia and letting this man cut my face when he hires and employs this sort of staff to represent him, it felt more like a free clinic than a plastic surgeon in La Jolla, CA.
