I've been researching BBL's for years and finally decided to pull the trigger. Initially, I was bouncing back and forth between Dr. Retana and another Doctor in NY. At the very last minute, I decided to select Dr. Retana. He was closer to home and I felt we were aligned on my vision for my body.Dr. Retana really listened to my goals for my buttocks and understood that I didn't want a cookie-cutter outcome where I looked like everyone else. I still wanted to hold onto the uniqueness of my body and still embrace some of my regular imperfections, i.e. hip size, and hip dips. I'm truly elated I stumbled upon Dr. Retana on Instagram. I didn't see much of anything about him on realself which made me extremely skeptical, but I'm here to tell you he is the real deal. I'm just 3 weeks post-op, and I feel good, my swelling has subsided and I'm seeing a very natural figure with a believable behind, and I'm ecstatic. Here are the three main reasons why:Bedside Manner:Dr. Retana's care availability, dedication, and response time to his patients is unreal. Immediately following my surgery, I went home and went to sleep (on my stomach of course), but I woke up to texts from Dr. Retana -- with his phone number if I needed anything and pre/post-op photos. Anytime I messaged Dr. Retana (even on Christmas) he got back to me within the same day, almost within the same hour. There was no question that went unanswered and he always seemed happy to help and extremely attentive.Covert Incision Points:If you want to get surgery and not look like you've been stabbed like a pin cushion, Dr. Retana is the surgeon you should consider. My front incision points are small and are hidden in my pubic area, while my rear incision point is hidden where the crack of my buttock begins. Even in the skimpiest of bikini's I'll be covered.Natural Results:If you're looking for natural results that are tailored to your figure and you don't want to look like you've been spit out of the video vixen factory I highly recommend Dr. Retana.Good luck to everyone in their quest for their version of perfection. I am so lucky to have come across Dr. Retana. I had a rhino about 20+ years ago and that dr. did not listen to what I wanted and went on his own and made my nose skinny and crooked. Dr. Retana and I are using a temporary long lasting filler to make sure we are both on the same page before we move on to the permanent filler. I have attached pics to show how amazing he and his caring staff are! Updated on 21 Sep 2019: Update...6 days later and the swelling has gone down which sucks, so am left with this. Maybe better than before... Seems even skinnier than b4... Prob my imagination I think I need to have a real revision with spreader grafts etc... :( But, Dr. Retana is still absolutely wonderful and caring and listens to everything you have to say and did evthg he could without having to do surgery. :( :( Gotta go to a specialist :( Thanks for trying <3
