Coffee and cigs. What can I say? Great job, painless, nice Dr.Berik was easy to deal with. I needed to sparkle for a big reunion. Now I look like a movie star, Comedies mostly, I guess. Or maybe Horror. But my teeth sparkle! I cant believe I need so many characters to write a quick complimentary blurb about a service.
I had been worried about the color of my teeth for a while, and although I tried a few different tooth pastes and mouth washes that claimed to whiten your teeth but they didn't seem to make much of a difference. So I decided a professional teeth whitening would be the best option. The process was really easy and the procedure didn't take long at all. I was really really pleased with results and I am much more confident about my smile now.
One night I was walking up the stairs towards my bedroom, and for some reason the hall light was not working. I tripped on a pair of shoes, fell and smashed my mouth on the stairs; blood everywhere, looked in the mirror and saw that one of my teeth were chipped! After having braces for three years when I was younger, this chipped tooth seemed to have ruined my smile! But I called Newton Dental to see if there was anything they could do to repair my tooth. They recommended Dr. Berik to do the procedure. Dr. Berik was kind, professional, and very gentle. After the procedure, she gave me a mirror to look at my teeth, and it was as if I never even chipped my tooth! I would definitely use Dr. Berik again! Let's hope I never chip my tooth again!
My experience with Dr. Berik was very good. She is a sweet, smart woman that is good at her job. Ive been here twice in the pat 6 months for some hair loss treatment, and it seems to be pretty effective so far. The cleanliness of the office was comforting and everything went smoothly. I just hope my hair keeps filling in!
I'm addicted to coffee. Its a problem. After drinking a cup every morning for a couple years now, my teeth were looking dull and I felt really self conscious about it. I had my teeth whitened and couldn't be happier. A noticeable difference gave me a lot of confidence. No one should be afraid to smile!
I visited Dr. Berik at Newton Dental Associates looking for options to straighten my teeth. Dr. Berik took the time to explain the various options and I selected Invisalign. Invisalign uses a series of invisible trays that you replace about every 14 days. You "wear" the trays about 22 hours a day, only removing them to eat. Most people never know you are wearing them. Dr. Berik's knowledge, care and the entire office have been superb! I now have that "Hollywood" smile
You will find that you can vastly improve the position, bite and health of your teeth with Invisalign orthodontic treatment. You need a highly experienced provider. There is not adequate information from a few on line photos to make a definitive diagnosis and treatment plan. I suspect however that you are a combination case of jaw surgery and orthodontics. That being said many patients do not elect for this ideal but invasive course of treatment. In these cases Invisalign orthodontic treatment alone can make wonderful improvements for patients.
Step one is to align your teeth. This is powerful in terms of cosmetics but it also sets up a beautiful conservative veneer case. Beautiful veneers are not possible on teeth with bad bites, called malocclusions. It is a poor choice to do veneers in severe crowding cases without first straightening the teeth. In my office I do accelerated orthodontics coupled with Invisalign. On average I can straighten the teeth and correct the bite in 3-4 months. Then I would re-evaluate your smile and see how veneers could help. This method is conservative, will create a beautiful smile and last a long time.
Absolutely Invisalign can improve your bite. Correcting this malocclusion (bad bite) can prolong the life of your teeth. It can create proper lip support, prevent premature enamel wear and recession cause by traumaticocclusion. In my office as I accelerate orthodontic cases with Invisalign and Propel, I can treat most cases like this in under 6 months.
While this can be a completely unrelated issue, it is possible that you are clenching on your aligners.Accessory muscles in the neck can get tired and sore like any other muscle that is over used. It has zero to do with your teeth and everything to do with over using your muscles of mastication. I normally build bite ramps into my Invisalign aligners which avoids this all together.
Your appearance and self-esteem can be dramatically improved with a combination oforthodontic treatment first, and yes accelerated Invisalign would be my choice. With acceleration I can move teeth more predictably. Phase 2 of treatment would be porcelain restorations as needed to complete the lookyou want. Without knowing your age, condition of your teeth, and without having x-rays it is difficult to give a full treatment plan. You can have a beautiful smile with the right plan, so be sure to pick the right doctor as this case requires considerable experience in more than one field of dentistry.
