Hi senap Thank you for your question and for sharing your pictures. YOUR CONCERN: I understand that you want a more pronounced chin. This is quite a common concern among patients. Let's look into the various details one would need to consider in a typical consultation of your concern. CAUSES: 1. There is involuntary mentalis (chin muscle) spasm with a normal bone structure. This condition is characterized by dimples and creases on the chin even at rest. This phenomenon could give the appearance of a small chin. It could also give the appearance of being angry or stressed. Treatment options include: Botox alone ; Botox + Filler Chin Augmentation 2. Some people are genetically predisposed to having a small jaw. Their jaws are structured that way, they may or may not have muscle spasm. The actual problem is called "mandibular hypoplasia" or Micrognathia. Treatment options include: Botox + Filler Chin Augmentation; Chin implant; Surgical reconstruction of the mandible in severe cases Assessment and recommendations for you: Ideally a live consult would be best in your case. This helps us to feel your chin bones and identify details of your chin in relation to your face from various angles. Since a chin implant is not a desired option for you I would consider Botox(4-8 units) as a start. If your chin is satisfactorily relaxed and you're happy with the size and shape we would continue with botox as a treatment every 3-5 months. If there is no improvement in the projection of your chin we would consider a filler augmentation with Juvederm Voluma or a similar filler that would add structure and shape to your chin. I hope this brief note has addressed your question.
