I've wanted late breasts most of my adult life. Especially after breastfeeding two sons and loosing all my volume. Preop, I was a deflated 34c and after 3 consults with 3 different surgeons, I opted for the most experienced one of the there. Who also happened to be the only one who said no lift needed (I have pseudo ptois due to volume loss), and he preferred to do it OTM. The two other surgeons insisted on a lift and UTM. Today is day one post op, and I feel pretty good considering! I has given no narcotics and just take Tylenol. My left breast is a bit tighter and slightly numb, as my right is a little larger and had more tissue to cover and less stretching. Both nipples have sensation and I'm grateful for that. Going for my post op check up shortly. So far, great experience! Updated on 7 Sep 2023: Updated on 7 Sep 2023: Updated on 14 Oct 2023: Updated on 22 Sep 2024: Now that I am fully healed, my breasts have softened and dropped, they look extremely natural, they feel wonderful and gave me a confidence that I really was hoping this surgery would give me. The implants really just filled out the breast tissue that was naturally there, so it doesn’t look obvious clothing that I had implants done.
I had been contemplating BA for over 15 years. I was always very small chested and basically wore a padded bras as a prop for YEARS! I never filled the cups and always felt self conscious naked and also in bikini tops that didn’t have special padding. This past fall I decided I was going to follow through with my wish for bigger breasts. I am pretty petite but curvy and wanted a look that would compliment my shape. I wanted something believable and not that “CJ Parker - Baywatch” look. I went to four different surgeons and Dr. Kleinman was my last one. I was a bit hesitant meeting with him because his website doesn’t have many before and after pictures but within the first ten minutes of my consultation I knew he would be my surgeon. He was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable with my decision. He explained all the pros and cons on BA, implant placement and size. He is very meticulous with his measurements and technique and really is a master of his craft. He also has the patience of a saint as I had numerous, consistent questions and he took the time to answer each very thoroughly, even after my initial consultation. The surgery itself was a first for me and I was nervous but I was in really good hands - his nurse and anesthesiologist were super. His practice manager, Theresa, is a gem - from the time of my first consult to now during my follow-up visits. Stats: 5’1, 125lbs, 34A; we decided on 375cc Natrelle Smooth Round Silicone medium profile implants place under the muscle for a full but proportionate result. I am almost a month post op. My scars are are healing quite nicely and my follow-up visits have been very quick since recovery is going very well. I highly recommend Dr. Kleinman and I am very happy with my results. I am excited to see my progress every day. Updated on 28 Mar 2021: I am six weeks post op and must say that I feel amazing and have returned to the gym too, just no heavy lifting yet. I am really happy with my result thus far and my scars are healing nicely too. I am still wearing sports bras 24/7 and using silicone sheets and scar salves. The numbness in the lower part of my breasts seems to have disappeared as well. I noticed that around the fifth week. I am certainly starting to experience “drop and fluff” as I noticed my breasts have become softer upon squeezing. I am still unsure of my true bra size though. I am wearing 34DD sports bras (Victoria’s Secret, Champion and Nike). I recently purchased some new bikini tops and needed a D cup.
I've always been an A cup but can never fill in the bra completely. It was always a hassle buying shirts or dresses online because I wouldn't know how my boobs would look in them or if it would fit since I had no boobs. I was recommended by 2 friends with this doctor. I made a consultation and ended up booking my surgery! Updated on 11 Jan 2020: First day was the worst! I was in a lot of pain and it was very uncomfortable to sleep sitting up. I ended up slouching so whenever I needed to wand up to use the bathroom I would need to wake up my boyfriend to help me get up. I also did bleed a bit from my left boob but when I saw the doctor the next day he assured me that it was normal Updated on 11 Jan 2020: I forgot to mention, I ended up doing 330cc. I think I’m healing pretty good. I’m not in much pain anymore. I can get up on my own and move my arms freely. I dont think I need my pain meds anymore either. You can see bruises under my boobs but that’s completely normal and the dried blood under the tape from my left boob since the doctor hasn’t removed the tape or stitches yet Updated on 14 Jan 2020: 1 week today. I had a follow up today and doctor told me everything looked good and I’m clear to shower! Get stitches out next week. The right is dropping faster than the left, left is still pretty high up and the left boob is the only one that feels more tight, other than that I love them so far. Updated on 23 Jan 2020: Meant to post these 2 days ago. Got my stitches out. My scar is kind of like a scab right now. Did this happen to anyone else?? But my boobs are getting softer now which makes me happy and excited for them to fully heal. I sometimes wish I went bigger but this size looks good on me and they look very natural Updated on 28 Jan 2020: My scars are slowly healing and they look great so far. My boobs are getting so soft now as you can see from the video. I’m in absolutely no pain. I’m so happy with my decision on breast augmentation! Updated on 4 Feb 2020: Today is 4 weeks! Boobs feel great. You can see I have a stitch stuck in my left incision. I called the office to let them know I had a stitch and if there’s anything I should do and they told me it will fall out on it’s own. I can sleep on my stomach now but I still get scared and end up sleeping on my side. Updated on 11 Feb 2020: Stitch is still stuck in my left scar. Wondering when it will fall out. Healing great. Here’s some more pics. Updated on 19 Feb 2020: Forgot to post these yesterday. Had my follow up appointment and it went great. My ps told me I can go back to regular activities and I am now using silicone scar sheets which as you can see in the last picture, already reduced the redness from the scar. I am happy with my results and very happy with the way I’ve been recovering. I got measured at VS and they told me I’m a 32C. Haven’t bought any bras yet though Updated on 20 Feb 2020: They softened so much and look so natural. Couldn’t be happier Updated on 1 Apr 2020: Feel great. I still wish I went bigger. Other than that, I can do pretty much everything. I’ve been doing home workouts so mostly body weight but when gyms open up, I’m hoping to slowly get back to lifting weights again. Scars are still pretty visible. I’m alternating between scar sheets and a scar gel Updated on 7 Apr 2020: Very soft and they feel so real.
First off, I love my new breasts, that’s obviously very important. What I loved just as much was how thorough he was in discussing all the pros and cons of every possible option to help me decide as well as explaining why he prefers one method over another. I’ve recommended him to all my friends and family.
Hey everyone, so tonight is the night before my surgery. I am supposed to meet with Dr Kleinman tomorrow around 12pm. I’m 20 years old and am currently 5’1, around 130 lbs and am currently a 34A/32B (large A, small B) no kids and I would like to be a full C/small D. I am stuck between 360cc and 390cc silicone smooth implants under the muscle as I do not want to go too big, however, i definitely do not want to feel that I’ve gone too small. I’ve heard that with silicone cc’s “get lost” once they drop and fluff and I just want a nice bust and cleavage for plunging necklines and cute tops. I’m super nervous for tomorrow but also pretty excited that I cannot sleep! I’ve never done a review like this so I hope to keep up with this and post updates! Wish me luck omg Updated on 14 Sep 2019: Hey guys! So I just had my surgery yesterday around 4pm and everything seems to be going well. I ended up going with 375cc. I think it was the perfect size for my frame. I had some bleeding once I got home around 8pm and Dr K assured me this was normal right after surgery and to just keep my bra and bandages in place. The bleeding didn’t last very long and ended last night it seems. Also! Dr K was so great and he even informed me that I had a bit of asymmetry with my breasts. Not something noticeable to me or my boyfriend but once he pointed it out I saw I have a little extra tissue on my left breast. This led to the doc putting the implant in a higher pocket. So right now both of my breasts are quite swollen and firm, but yesterday my left was much more swollen than my right probably due to the bleeding and the asymmetry like the doc said. As for pain, I felt fine like an hour after leaving the clinic. It’s all just mainly discomfort that I feel now when I’m trying to sit up or open something that puts pressure on my chest. Updated on 18 Sep 2019: Soo it’s been a long weekend after my surgery. I went to my first post op appointment and dr kleinman said everything looked good. He changed my bloody gauze and put new tape. I have bruising under my left breast, which is totally normal. Nothing really hurts except that I bought a new sports bra and it’s a little snug and it does create some discomfort at first but as the swelling is lessening it’s getting better. I am still getting used to sleeping on my back, however, it is very challenging for me because I love sleeping on my side and on my stomach. However I’m really back to my normal routine I’m living on campus at school so I get around easily. I just obviously can’t lift anything heavy or exert too much force. My breasts are still a little sore but nothing compared to day 1-3. Also I am not allowed to shower for over a week post op so that’s a little annoying but nothing crazy I just use my wash clothes and wipes. I’m loving my results so far! They’re not looking like “Frankenstein boobs” which is what I expected. They look perky and full so I’m trying to enjoy them while they last before they drop and fluff. Updated on 4 Oct 2019: Hey guys! It’s been only three weeks but honestly I feel like it’s been a month+ already. I feel 10/10 I’m back to both of my jobs on campus (Starbucks and a desk job). My breasts are already feeling squishier and no longer feeling tight or super sensitive like before and the numbness near the bottom of my breasts is gone as well. I am able to sleep on my side again, not my belly however but that’s fine I sleep on my side more often than any other position anyway. I have been wearing bralettes a lot lately because obviously, no wire is allowed for a couple months post up. I have some tape on my incisions still (they look blue because the dye from my shirt last night rubbed off). I honestly cannot wait until I am able to wear bras again! I get compliments all the time ALREADY about how good and natural they look and I’m super content about that because it was exactly what I was going for. I can only imagine what they’ll look like with a push-up bra or even minimal padding. I know they’re going to drop and fluff eventually but I could stay with them like this forever they look and feel so good! I’ll try to keep posting updates and whatnot for the next couple months! Updated on 30 Dec 2020: Its been about a year and 3 months post op and I don’t think I could be any happier with my results. My breasts have fully healed after a year and they’re soft to the touch and depending on what kind of bra I wear, they’re super bouncy but not to the point where it’s uncomfortable. I can sleep how I want, exercise comfortably, although I refrain from doing anything chest related out of my preference for comfort. I don’t like the feeling of stressing out my breast muscles knowing I have foreign objects in it but I’m sure if I wanted to, I could do more chest workouts. I couldn’t tell you what bra size I am though because it’s tricky. For instance I wore a 34B bra that I couldn’t fully fit prior to my surgery. 3 months post op I started wearing that same bra and I obviously fit it in and it was comfortable so I stayed with it. Because it was lightly padded, not a push-up, I was able to continue wearing it, however, all my other bras that were 34B and heavily padded/push-up no longer fit. Which makes sense because if they did after getting 375CC there’d be a problem right lol. I got sized at Victoria secret exactly a year ago (3 months post up) and was told I was a 32D so I tried the bombshell bra and it fit me so nicely (if you notice, there are some marks on my breast in the picture with the red bra but they’re just from the previous sports bra I was wearing for my healing process). Recently though my boyfriend got me a Christmas present from VS and it was a 32DD and it fit me so comfortably. I wish I took a picture but maybe with the next post I’ll share it because I don’t have it with me currently. So this is why I’m not sure what size I am, I just try things on and if i like how it fits I buy it. I guess the only thing I wish healed a bit better are my scars. I only used these strips from Walmart for the first few months but then I stopped using them. I didn’t use any scarring cream either but I also don’t really care much for the scarring since it’s not the most visible and the only other person who would see it on the regular would be my boyfriend but he loves my fake boobs so he couldn’t care less about the scars anyway. My favorite part about my size now is that I can play around with it. If one day I feel like showing them off I can easily do so by wearing a stick bra which allows me to adjust how much of a “push-up” effect I want by bringing the breasts closer together. However if I’m feeling more conservative, I simply wear a sports bra and they look super perky and full and average-sized (maybe a little on the bigger size) but it’s not enough to draw attention to them. I like being able to choose when to let the girls out because I cannot imagine walking around and having all eyes on them 24/7 because that would just mean that they stand out all the time and it would definitely make me feel uncomfortable especially if I’m around family and whatnot. I did this for myself and no one else, so as long as I get to see what I like and feel good about it then I’m happy. I will say that Dr K did an amazing job however I’m a little disappointed that he doesn’t watch over his staff more carefully. Chantelle is professional for the most part but quite messy as she drunk texted &called me one time which made me feel very uneasy. Additionally, I have an understanding that you’re supposed to go get checked a year after surgery and no one has reached out to me, which is a little concerning. This might be because their office had a fire last year so they might have lost records or something, not sure. I feel amazing so I don’t have any concerns but I think it’s necessary to have that yearly checkup. With the pandemic and everything going on I have decided to stay home and I’ll give it a couple more weeks until things stabilize a bit more before I give them a call. Like I said the doctor was amazing I just wish his staff, Chantelle, was a bit more professional. I would still recommend his work though because his results don’t lie and I will give credit where it is due. This can be a very scary process for those considering whether or not to go forward with it, but trust that if you’re in Dr Ks hands, you’re in good hands. He won’t put any of that teardrop, new implant stuff that is becoming increasingly popular (at least from what I’ve seen on YouTube) in you because he does not trust those brands and there have been so many recalls with breast implant illness. I think in general you should steer away from the newer implants thatve been released as there’s less research and long term results to back them up positively. If you have any questions feel free to inbox me!
Dr. Kleinman an amazing job. I had a very difficult and challenging case of very old implants that had very thick scar tissue and very thick capsules that were very deformed. He took extra time to truly clean me out with the explantation. I am so relieved to have that out of my body. At my request he placed perfect modern new implants that are very natural. I am healing well and thrilled with the results. Highly recommend! He’s the best!
The doctor is very smart and well experienced. I was a 34B and now a 36D. I had asymmetry and he did a good job with my surgery so far. I am only 5 days post op. Most of the staff is nice. He knew what worked for my body and what didn't and put a lot of thought into achieving my desired results.
Was tired of wanting to cry everytime I looked at myself with a top on. After breastfeeding my breast was a perky 32C before baby and got huge during breastfeeding. The since I've deflated and sagged. I finally made my appointment with some encouragement from my boyfriend! And here, 10days later I'm 1day post op. When I met the doctor I knew that there was no one Updated on 25 Mar 2016: Feel amazing and it's all so surreal. Woke up with these gorgeous knockers all swollen and felt a little sad they would go down... Until! My PS said they would stay this size and only drop! It was a gorgeous 70degree day so hubby and I went outside for a walk. He hit a gym by us for a trial and I went to a nail and spa next door. Missed my pain medication (725 instead of 645) and the ride home which was just 4minutes was hell.. Keeping my dose up after that!! No screwing around with those 4hours between pain meds!! Updated on 25 Mar 2016: Love how they look ???????????????? Updated on 25 Mar 2016: I'm a small girl 5'1 100lbs pre op 32B In these pictures I'm only one day post op Updated on 28 Mar 2016: He picked the perfect size and placed them perfectly in the breasts! Even though it's just 4days post op I don't look super fake or ridiculous. Just looks like a have a bra with push up!! My mother who's a super religious conservative Christian loves my size as well! Even my sister who critics everything thinks they look great! Updated on 1 Apr 2016: They are so beautiful and remind me so much of my old pre baby breasts. Nipples and size are different due to breast feeding Updated on 1 Apr 2016: I have my boobs again! Updated on 2 Apr 2016: Feeling normal. No bruises, and nipples sexually responsive (sorry if tmi lol) some discomfort more than pain
After one of my saline implants ruptured I was referred to Dr Kleinman to have my Implants exchanged. Within 1 week my saline implant was completely deflated, but I was able to be cleared and scheduled for surgery just in time! I had some issues with scar tissue and problems with them looking like 2 different breasts with my saline implants and it always bothered me. I never thought I would ever have the breasts I always wanted...until now. I went from 400cc Mentor saline implants to 450CC Mentor 'Memory Gel" Silicone implants. They are amazing!!! He cleared out my scar tissue, and revised the pockets, they are soft and they look exactly the same and feel amazing!!!
I had wanted a breast augmentation for years and to be honest I wish I would have received the procedure sooner and am so happy that I finally made the decision to go through with it. The confidence that I feel now is irreplaceable and the results were immediate. The amount of pain and discomfort was very minimal in fact I was pleasantly surprised that it only lasted about a day. I was up and walking later the day of surgery, driving a few days after and only missed 3 days of work. Life is short and we all deserve to be confident and feel good about the person we are both inside and out! I encourage anyone who has been considering any type of cosmetic surgery to book a consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon ASAP and if you are in the NY area I highly recommend Dr. Kleinman.
Vaser Lipo is my recommendation from what I see in these photographs and regular lipo would also be an option for you. The body can retain some larger pockets of fat even though the overall fat percentage is low. Vaser Lipo will remove this fat from your abdomen as long as it is superficial fat and not visceral (fat around your internal organs). It has been shown that use of the Vaser Lipo decreases the amount of blood loss and appears to lessen bruising and swelling.
After liposuction the body tends to have the same amount of total fat distributed equally in the body. It is rare to have a noticeable increase of fat distribution in other areas of the body as a result of having liposuction.
It is normal for there to be some lumps in the initial stages following Vaser Liposuction, however they will go away with time. Some swelling may persist up to 6 months after this procedure and in most cases patients benefit from wearing the compression garmet for several months post-surgery. I generally reccomend that my patients wear the garment for 4-6 months after Vaser Lipsuction and it can still still help even if worn only at times.
There are many very good plastic surgeons in New York. It is important to go to someone who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Who ever you go to, ask to see their pre and post op photos. Hope this helps.
I congratulate you on choosing ASPS certified plastic surgeons to evaluate you for liposuction. I would agree that price should not be the only determining factor for you. You should choose the plastic surgeon and their staff who you feel most comfortable. Before and after photos can give you a sense of the surgeons work. Also, some of my patients who are considering a surgery will ask to speak with one of my patients who has had the procedure. This way they can ask them specific questions about the procedure. By asking this information, it will give you a better sense of who you want to do the procedure. I always tell my patients, it is not necessarily how much fat I remove, it is more important how much fat I leave.
