reading all of the other reviews, I think it is time to start documenting my journey, as I have found other reviews so helpful, I hope anyone reading this one will find it useful too! I am a mother of 3, 43 YO, 5'6, currently 126 pounds, and fairly active. I breastfed all my babies for over 3 years total, and while I loved it and wouldn't change a thing, it is time to seriously consider BI. This is something I always knew I would eventually choose, and at 43, I am not having more children, and am ready to consider the procedure more seriously. Even before children, I was very small, barely an A cup. (I wear A36, but the cups are always gaping, and padded bras just don't fit right.) Now after children, and focusing on a healthy life style, I am at a lower body fat percentage, and have lost the little boobs I had. To date I have had 2 consults, one I loved, and one I knew was not the right doctor for me. Updated on 6 Jun 2023: So I had my third consult yesterday, and immediately knew that I had found my surgeon. (I thought after my second consult I had found the clinic but was debating meeting another doctor as I felt the surgeon I consulted with was not as experienced as I would have liked.) The third time is a charm I guess! The doctor was warm, friendly and very relatable. We talked about my history, what look I wanted and he immediately picked two implants to try. I was amazed. (I tried on 6-8 pairs at my previous appointment) I booked my surgery today and felt so nervous, but also excited. I am only a few weeks out for the procedure, and it is going to fly by. I have decided on 350 CC HP sientra 107, as I have tiny boobs and not a lot of breast tissue. The doctor is also going to shorten my nipples, (which was another reason I knew he was the right doctor) it was something I was not aware of, but as forementioned, after feeding three kids, they have stretched out and droop. The other doctors I met did not propose this option, but I do think it will enhance the end result tremendously. Now I am looking into ways to make surgery recovery easier and hoping to arrange childcare for a few days post-op! Updated on 9 Jul 2023: So I went in for my surgery on Thursday, and am 3 days post op. So far feeling good. Discomfort for sure, but have been up walking around and showered. The day of I was to be there for 6 am. I got checked in and was brought back to my room where I met some amazing nurses, Dr.Lofman and the anesthesiologist who was doing my surgery. Everyone explained what they were doing and why, and things moved very quickly. Before I knew it, I was counting down to sleep and when I woke up, I was back in my room, with an ice pack on my chest and the whole procedure was finished. I was discharged and went home to rest. Fast forward to today, and everything is going well so far. I was able to shower this morning, (taking off the bra and seeing the incisions was a bit of a trip!) but I think they look really good. Updated on 25 Jul 2023: It's been 20 days since my surgery and I could not be happier. The swelling is going down, and I am able to work. I am still getting help with my youngest which is hard, but I am trying my best to allow my body to heal.
I absolutely LOVE Dr. Lofman and ALL of his team! There are the best, so sweet, so attentive, so welcoming and very informative! They didn’t miss a beat with me! I went for a breast reduction he did more than an amazing job! I’m so happy with the results and the size. I am now free of back, neck pain and my confidence is now out of this world. I just want to cry. Thank you so much Doctor!! I can’t thank you enough. Nurse Nickolette was amazing also she’s so nice I love her. I had my follow up 5 days later and everything is healing so well. My insurance covered mine and I just had side lateral Lipo so I had to pay for that. I have already referred 6 different people to him for other procedures. Trust me you won’t regret it! If I ever needed something else he’s my go to! Thank you so much again
I had breast implants under the muscle since 2010 and they started to sag and just overall didn’t look good anymore. I was looking for a surgeon to remove them and lift them. I was beyond nervous to have this done and actually went to several other consultations feeling let down that I just didn’t have a good connection with the doctor. Within minutes of meeting Dr Lofman i knew he was going to be my surgeon. I cant believe how amazing my results are and how the east the procedure was to recover from. I had more pain in my upper back than the actual surgery site. My breast look better than they ever did! I feel way more confident and couldn’t be more happy with my results. He’s kind, understanding, he is patient and listens to you. Also I felt like he was genuine which I didn’t feel with any other surgeon I met with.
I had the most amazing experience with Dr.Lofman and his entire team in office and at the surgical center. Surgery was something that really scared me and I went to a dozen consultations trying to find someone who eased my discomfort and settled me, Dr.Lofman does an amazing job from pre op to every post op. I am so happy I went with him. I will recommend him to anyone and everyone
I always had big breasts and contemplated getting a breast reduction for 10 plus years. I decided to take the pluge and get a breast reduction. Day one recovery is going well pain is minimum. My surgery was done by Dr. Lofman so far so good I’ll follow up with how my breast look after I am able to take the bandages off. At first I was like they are too small as I still wanted big breast with a Lift but after looking in the mirror multiple times in a 24-hour period I think they might be a nice size. Just sooo darn excited that I had to share this premature post. Updated on 13 Jun 2022: I could not help myself and had to take a peak on day 2. Apparently they were swollen because day 3 they look smaller and dropped. I am feeling well minimum pain. I have started walking around the neighborhood to help with swelling.
Long overdue review! Dr Lofman has changed my life and helped me to gain my confidence after losing 100lbs. After consulting with multiple doctors in the area, and also being referred to him by a previous patient, I knew that he was a great fit for me. His office is beautiful and his staff is welcoming.??I had multiple surgeries performed. First round was a breast augmentation, tummy tuck with muscle repair (lips to flanks) and brachioplasty in August of 2020. I had drain-less procedures which was great especially because I had young children at home. My healing was excellent and the aftercare and follow ups with him and his nurses was great. I feel as Dr. Lofmans surgical techniques minimize the look of scars, his placement of incisions make it so that they are hidden as much as they possibly can be. The surgical aftercare material that is used is great as it stays in place for multiple weeks as long as you take care of the incision sites. I was provided with everything I need after surgery for recovery. I had my second surgery in February of 2021 (Inner thigh lift and upper abdominal liposuction). And the healing and results of those procedures was excellent. Dr Lofman has great bedside manner and takes the time to listen to what you are looking for. I took in pictures and he helped me make decisions. I didn’t feel pressured and I liked that he was honest with me when it came to procedures (if they were needed or not). I feel that he is realistic with results and I also had the vibe of him being a more natural results Dr. compared to others who I consulted with. Dr Lofman wants his patients to be happy with their results. I did have to have minor revisions to one of my breasts twice, but it was more due to my anatomy and quite possibly my 100lb weight loss. There were no issues when it came for me requesting a revision after consulting and expressing my concerns. He was very supportive. ? The only negative that I encountered was my aftercare at DMC hospital - so it really had nothing to do with Dr Lofman. I had to stay overnight for my first round of procedures and the aftercare in the hospital room (nurses and aids) that night was terrible. It was so bad that I probably would avoid dealing with that hospital at all in the future. My other procedures were done at the Waterford outpatient center where I believe he does the majority of his surgeries and the care there is excellent! Highly recommend Dr Lofman for surgical procedures - he makes amazing belly buttons with your tummy tucks too! :) My experience with him and his team was everything that I had hoped for in my surgical journey to get my body where I wanted after my weight loss. It has been life changing for me and I was so glad to find such a great surgical team!
Amazing experience from start to finish. Dr. Lofman and his staff are incredible, and I couldn’t be happier with my results. It changed my life. I scheduled my consultation and surgery for a few months later. I am 7 months post op now and doing great!
My experience from start to finish with Dr. Lofman and staff have been wonderful. From Dr. Lofman, to His Surgery Coordinator Michelle, to His Nurse Nicolette, to the Susan and the rest of staff have all be exceptional! I met with many other surgeons and knew right away he was the one I wanted during the consultation.I received my date of sx before I left that day. Fast forward to surgery which was in April 2021, it went smooth with no hiccups. I felt safe going under and woke up to the best care. My recovery was nice and I did not have any complications. Any questions I had I was able to reach out and got an answer right away.My aftercare experience has been wonderful as well. Any concerns I had were addressed with no problems or hesitation. Dr. Lofman and staff are the best. Should I choose to have any other procedure done, I am 100% going back to see him. Updated on 12 Dec 2021: Immediately post op and months after. Some pictures are right after surgery and some are a few months after. I still had a decent amount of swelling in most of the pictures. I will take more pics soon and update.
Dr Lofman is a fantastic surgeon!! 1 yr post-op tt mr lipo revision on old br. No complications minimal pain and my incision lines look phenomenal almost look like creases in your skin they are so fine. He's amazing!
My experience with Dr. Lofman and his staff was pleasant from top to bottom. Dr. Lofman was referred to me by a close friend who had gone to him 10 years prior. The consultation and follow-up met my needs fully. I’m in the medical field and had tons of questions. Dr. Lofman always had the answers. Being that this is as my first surgery ever, from the surgical coordinator to the surgical nurse (Nicolette) to the anesthesiologist and staff at the surgical center, I was very comfortable going into the surgery. I had a great experience and have absolutely no regrets! Updated on 30 Jul 2021: So my surgery date was 1/21/21, I’m officially 6 months+ post-op! My Mommy Makeover includes a tummy tuck, lipo to the flanks and a breast augmentation (Sientra 355cc, MP). The surgery lasted just about 3 hours and about 1 pound was removed from my abdomen (I was always kind of slim built, just had extra skin from pregnancies). I went from a 34 (barely) B to 34D/32DD in Victoria’s Secret bras. My waist size changed from a 28 to 27, not a huge change but noticeable for me. I had no complications from surgery and have just been trying to eat right and exercise to maintain.
Thanks for the question. Ideally you should wait at least one month between surgeries to avoid a higher risk of blood clots. Three months after breast augmentation is enough time to feel safe about the next procedure.
You have ptosis of the breasts and lack upper pole fullness. Implants alone will give you that upper pole fullness but you will still have drooping. Implants combined with a lift will help with both issues. Make sure to evaluate your board certified plastic surgeon carefully. Check out lots of before and after photos and read their reviews.
Thanks for the question. You look like a great candidate for liposculpture. You have great skin which should contract nicely and give you beautiful curves.
Great question. These are all very common areas for liposuction. You should schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon for a thorough evaluation.
Thanks for the question. You appear to be a great candidate for a breast lift. If you are happy with your current breast volume then a lift alone will be great. If you want to be a bit larger and to have a little more upper pole fullness then you might consider an implant and a lift.
