Dr. Hausauer is the very best injector. From botox to filler- I've had nothing but excellent outcomes. I am a super anxious patient when it comes to injections and so I need very capable hands and a lot of reassurance. Also, she does Renuva which, while I haven't seen much result with yet in all of my attempts but it's nice to explore if you're afraid of foreign substances like sculptra and bellafill. She also has all of the normal HA fillers and I will say she is THE BEST injector when it comes to technique. I am a big bruiser usually and would bruise horribly for weeks with all previous filler and even botox but since I've found Dr. Hausauer, I haven't bruised once and I've had multiple rounds in various areas. She's also very conservative in terms of respecting a natural aesthetic and helping you to have realistic expectations and know what can and can't be done with noninvasive and minimally invasive procedures. I've also seen her multiple times for micro needling which she is an expert in too. She's a delight as well- she cares for all of her patients as people and is super warm. Most importantly, they don't outsource to other nurses, injectors, etc from what I've seen like in other offices- you always get her directly.
I had Profound yesterday for my jowls and neck rings. Just jaw and neck. If this goes well I will do my whole face. I am not quite ready for a facelift, but my neck really bothers me when I look in the mirror. Starting to document my journey today.
I want to recommend Dr Amelia Hausauer Dermatologist of team Aesthetx. I came to know about Dr Hausauer’s expertise in Dermatology and skin esthetic treatments through the “New Beauty magazine. She came highly recommended and I was very excited to meet her. First of all, Dr.Hausauer has a wonderful bedside manner, she has a soft and welcoming personality ( I like that ), she has a light touch and is extremely skilled with filler injections and will always be conservative, so you don’t have to worry about being over done. What I love about her is if I want to try something she will always let me know about my potential risks as she helps you to make the best choice for you an the look you are trying to achieve. She is always looking out for your well-being. Dr. Hausauer has treated me with Juevederm filler for my lips and marionette lines. She has also done some subtle Botox for the frown lines between-my brows. She is my go to Dr. for all my skin care. I asked Dr Hausauer about how I can eliminate dark spots fine lines and reduce pore size. She suggested the Halo laxer treatment This Halo treatment is the best treatment ever. The day of the treatment they apply numbing cream and you wait about 40 minutes and then the laser treatment is started . The laser treatment is tolerable and will leave your skin red like you had too much sun. Afterwards a fan is blown on the skin to cool it down. Sunscreen is applied and you need to wear a wide brim hat to shield the sun rays. The down time is very minimal and you are given a post car kit complete with cooling water mist , moister cream and sunscreen. The first 3 to 4 days your skin is red and on the 2nd and 3rd day, any brown spots on your face, now look like coffee grounds. The crisp spots will slough off. They say you can wear make up the next day but I opted just to keep my skin clean moisturized and I applied plenty of sunscreen. Needless to say I loved the final results after 7 to 10 days. The result is a great reduction in brown spots fine lines and your pore size will reduce. I plane on receiving a halo treatment once a year as that is all it takes to have the results I desire . Thank you Dr. Hausauer !!
I write this review of Dr. Amelia K. Hausauer because of the excellence of my experience while in her care. This was my first treatment with aesthetic dermatology specifically, dermal fillers. I was concerned whether the outcome could have a natural appearance. Dr. Hausauer was sensitive to my concerns and attentive to my desires. She was warm, kind, gentle and immediately put me at ease. I benefited from her medical prowess by receiving a very pleasing result while staying within my comfort level and budget. At no time did she pressure me to purchase products or consider further treatment options. My appearance has been enhanced by her skill. I look rejuvenated and refreshed, exactly what I hoped for. This translates into a more youthful appearance, in fact, the results far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Dr. Hausauser and will most definitely see her again for future treatment.
I was part of a study conducted by Dr. Hausauer using Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) to regrow hair. I want to note, that I did not have major hair loss, but was thinning in several areas and had much less hair than in my 20s. I probably started noticing hair loss in my late 20s (roughly 29), and it has been a slow and steady decline since then. I had very low expectations from this procedure, but decided to be open minded. During my first appointment with Dr. Hausauer, she explained to me the nature of the procedure, the process of how it worked, and some past results for others. Also, she did a very good job of managing my expectations. However, by the end of the appointment, I was excited that I would have some great results. The actual procedure was brief and did not cause much pain. We did some intake paperwork and took before pictures of multiple areas of my scalp. Then, Dr. Hausauer simply drew blood from my arm and spun it in a centrifuge to separate the plasma from the platelets. The separation process took about 15 minutes. During those 15 minutes, Dr. Hausauer continued to converse with me about the procedure, expectations, results and such... but also just about life in general. Most experiences with doctors that I have had are typically very sterile. That is, they don't have much people skills, and really just treat you like a number. Dr. Hausauer was the very opposite. Her warm and friendly demeanor was a refreshing change, and her desire to want to get to know me helped build trust that I was in very good hands. I felt that she was committed to the success of this procedure, not just for her own results, but because of how much a full and healthy head of hair means for someone like me. When the plasma was ready, Dr. Hausauer returned with a medium sized syringe (and very short needle!) that contained the PRP. The injections went directly into my scalp, into multiple locations across its surface. The pain was mild: A small prick or pinching feeling (penetration of the needled) and a bit of pressure (like someone pressing down firmly on my head) as the PRP was injected. This process took no more than a bout 10 minutes tops. And... that was it! The procedure was done. In and out under 30 minutes. There was no additional pain afterwards, but that mild pressure continued for roughly an hour. With regard to results, I began to notice them after roughly 2 months. Two things stood out when I finally realized it was working: I did not see the numerous strands of my hair in the tub after showers and I could now run my hands/fingers through my hair (and quite aggressively) without pulling out any strands. My follicles were actually getting stronger. Also, my hair just looked fuller to me. Every couple weeks when I went for a haircut, my barber kept commenting that my hair looked thicker. I was beyond excited! My 2nd visit for treatment was roughly 3 months after the initial one. I was eager to share with Dr. Hausauer my results. She agreed that my hair did look thicker. I could not wait for her to confirm what I already knew was happening. So, she took the 2nd set of pictures. After the actual procedure was repeated (blood removed, spun, and PRP injected into my scalp), Dr. Hausauer told me that she had already compared the old and new pictures and confirmed that not only were my follicles thicker, but I was re-growing hair. I was just besides myself, and Dr. Hausauer was just as pleased for me. This! Was! Working! Between my second and final visit, I continued to see change in my hair. The areas that were the thinnest when I first started the treatment were getting thicker by the week. My barber continued to make comments on the thickness of my hair until I told him what I was up to. He was shocked and happy for me as well. By my third and final visit, I was eager and excited to find out exactly how much improvement I had achieved. Again, Dr. Hausauer started off by tacking pictures, and then I completed paperwork for the study. She continued to be gracious and excited about my results and the fact that I was so happy. She was also interested in how things were going for me in life. She was always very good with conversation had a genuine concern for people, not just about her own success. Finally, the results were back and I was blown away that my hair was roughly 25% thicker than it was at the onset of the study and I had roughly 13% regrowth of new hair. I was beyond blown away by the result and they had definitely exceeded my expectations. This all happened in less than 6 months and with only 2 treatments. Overall, I am more than satisfied with my results and this procedure. Additionally, I would highly recommend (with highest praises) Dr. Hausauer to anyone considering her services.
I was always known for my curly hair since I was a child. Since my hair was so curly, no one ever realized it was actually pretty thin. As I grew older, the curls went away and the thinness was became more evident. After years of wearing my hair in pony tails and buns to cover the thinning areas, I visited Dr. Hausauer. Dr. Hausauer is amazing! I can't say enough great things about her and my experience with PRP. She was reassuring, comforting, and very easy to talk to. Dr. H. takes her time and is very patient. You can tell she loves what she does. After 3 treatments, my hair is thicker in the problem areas. Thanks to Dr. Hausauer I am getting compliments on my hair again after all these years. I am back to wearing my hair down and loving it! I would not only recommend the PRP injections but also Dr. Hausauer for your next procedure.
Dr. Hausauer is the only person I have ever come to trust over the years of multiple experiences with other dermatologists. As an actress and model, my skin is one of the most important and essential assets to my business, and she has worked with me to find the most disciplined practices to ensure I look like the top version of myself at every age. Her recommendations and procedures are safe, effective and are always in my best interest to help me find the solutions in maintaining a flawless, natural glow. I highly recommend her to treat everything from cosmetic to medical and everything in between, and she is always prompt and attentive in helping me achieve my skincare goals. I can confidently say my skin has never looked better, and that's a great feeling!
These lines can be tricky as there are caused by flexing the neck down (like looking at screen) and often require a combination of treatments to help restore collagen. My first options is typically a fine line filler like Belotero which initially appears dopey then blends into the skin making a more smooth appearance. Lasers and other options on top can help with more long term restoration but my patients tend to be happiest with this option. Hope this helps as a general guide.
Expert injectors have experience restoring volume in this area for a beautifully nuanced and optimized appearance. I would find a board certified dermatologist who performs a lot of injections as this area can be a bit more specialized and selecting the appropriate hyaluronic acid filler to give you your desired effect is key. I truly think you can feel more confident without your mask and still look entirely like yourself, natural and soft.
Restricted motion can be minimized by using lower yet still effective doses of Botox or its alternative but similar products (Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau). There is data that repeat treat over time even at lower doses can decrease lines that are evident at rest. Filler in this area is high risk for complications including cases of blindness but can be done in very expert hands. You definitely need an injector who understands anatomy extremely well like a board certified cosmetic dermatologist or board certified plastic surgeon. I also find repeat laser or microneedling (with or without platelet rich plasma, PRP) treatment can help soften these lines without some of the risks of filler but will require multiple treatments with a device that is proven to build collagen.
There is no data or reporting that suggests Botox (or any other brand of neuromodulator) and vaccination can't be done close together, within days or even on the same day. This is true for the new COVID vaccines as well. No bad reactions have been reported to the FDA reporting system or were seen in clinical trials. So it is safe to protect yourself against the pandemic and still look refreshed.
Overtime, we all develop lines and creases at rest (aka ones that are noticeable even when you are relaxed and not contracting your facial muscles). Belotero is wonderful filler for these individual lines, because it is made in such a way that you can inject the material very superficially without getting a blue hue (called the tyndall effect, seen with many other hyaluronic acid fillers) and because as it settles the Belotero seeps into the nooks and crannies of the skin leaving a soft, beautiful finish. Unfortunately, these properties also make it less robust and break down faster. In my experience and from study data, Belotero typically last about 6 months. Some places of the face where there is lots of movement (i.e. around the mouth) it may persist a little less and other areas where there is very little tension (i.e. under eyes) a little more. and creases that are persistent at rest (aka when you aren't contracting your facial muscles). We call these static lines.
