Brilliant. Meticulous. Caring. If I had to describe Dr. Nelson in three words, these are the ones I would use. I sought treatment with Dr. Nelson for the removal of my 18-year-old breast implants, and I could not be happier with my outcome. She gave me a realistic opinion of what I could expect, and actually over-delivered with my results. I felt completely supported by Dr. Nelson and her staff throughout the entire process, and she literally held my hand through the roller coaster of emotions leading up to surgery. I recently had a breast augmentation surgery and was aiming for a “natural” appearance. I am a petite build and was extremely unsure of what the right size would be to meet my goals. I have had various breast implants for 20+ years. After a saline implant ruptured I had my implants replaced with silicone. Fast forward 10 years and a move to Bend Oregon. I now had one of my silicone implants rupture which showed up on an MRI. As a tennis player, I have always wanted my athletic pre-implant body back.
Dr. Amanda Nelson of Bend Oregon gave me back my beautiful perky right-sized breasts for my frame, doing an explant with lift…She is an absolutely phenomenal plastic surgeon with a reputation for her attention to detail. Her office staff is also extremely attentive. Her assistant, Sara, was always available to answer all of my questions before and after surgery.
Dr. Nelson used a suture technique where she stitches under the skin so you have beautiful very fine scars (zero railroad tracks!). She also did not use drains making recovery much more comfortable and eliminating the potential for drain scaring. I couldn't be happier with my results! Best of all, I'm now 100 percent natural again, no more implants!

Dr. Nelson, Sara, and the entire staff were exceptional—so caring and genuine throughout the whole process. I initially came in for an implant replacement, but Dr. Nelson recommend an explant for several reasons. I was shocked but grateful that she didn’t just do the replacement because that’s what I wanted. I’m so glad I followed her advice, and the results have been better than I ever expected. I highly recommend Dr. Nelson.

Dr Amanda Nelson was compassionate and caring from the moment i walked in for my initial consultation. She really listens and explains things honestly and sensitively. Her hands are like Michelangelo.. creating beauty and making one feel good about their body again. When I see women with oversized breast now I want to run up to them and give them Dr Nelson's card so that they too will feel better physically and emotionally. I so highly recommend her and her entire staff of loving caring women!!!!!!

Dr. Nelson is an excellent and compassionate doctor. I highly recommend her for your cosmetic needs. May of 2024 at 70 years old, Dr. Nelson gave me a breast reduction and lift. She is detailed and thorough every step of the way. Her office staff and her medical assistant, Sarah were very helpful, knowledgeable and caring. All my questions were answered during appts. And my follow-up questions. Dr. Nelson’s surgical work was perfect and the surgery center was excellent and accommodating and caring.

If I could give Dr Nelson 10 stars I would. She and her staff are the most caring, thorough, patient, and understanding.
When I come into the office, I always refer to her as the good doctor.
