Yes Its possible to treat mild to moderate dental crowding without the use of Interproximal reduction (IPR) too. This can be done either with the help of proclining the anterior teeth or by expanding the arch in the affected region. 

This in turn depends on the available Overjet and Overbite and also on the Inter-canine and Inter-premolar width. 

As you have shared only the lower arch pictures, the overjet can not be assessed and hence comments on the amount or possibility of proclination can not be made.

What is also possible looking at your shared simulation pic for the lower arch , is the distalisation of the posterior segment to achieve anterior / front teeth alignment.

The posterior/back teeth have a natural tendency to drift forward in the mouth. This mesialisation of teeth tends to close some of the spaces created by previously extracted teeth in the mouth. 

Your pictures are consistent with a lower right first molar extracted more than a decade back resulting in mesialisation of 2nd and 3rd molar in the extraction space. This mesialisation has not happened completely bodily though. The molars have tipped (Inclined at an angle) in the extraction space. 

This may be better appreciated with a radiograph.

Now there are two treatment alternatives that arise here. 

1) If you are looking for 3rd molar extraction and distalisation of the 2nd molar in the extraction space of the third molar: Thats POSSIBLE !! But not a great idea. Should take around 6 months for space creation for the Implant. Then an Implant shall be placed in the created space and should take around a couple of months to integrate for a prosthetic tooth to be placed on it. So we are looking at around 8-10 months for a functional tooth.

2) Second alternative is to upright the 2nd and 3rd molars (orthodontically with Clear Aligners / braces ) and use them to simulate and act as replacement for the functionality of 1st and 2nd molars. This should take around 2-3 months and you get two fully functional molars without the need for any dental implant.
