Hi, I am 46 years young from U.K., father of two , I have been considering to get rid of fat around my belly for a while, so started with the swimming for around a year but not a very noticeable reasults , then around 16 months ago I joined a local gym I lost nearly 20 kgs , till lately I was 85 kg, my hight is 6ft. I was much happier with my look but still there where some parts of my sides ( flanks) and mid of my belly not easy to get rid of that’s why I started thinking of liposuction, did two consultations here in U.K. they said you will get a good result but the price was around £9.000 , then I looked to do it in Turkey, via what clinic found so many surgeons till I narrowed it to few, then I decided on Dr Alper Tuncel in Istanbul. Usually I don’t leave any reviews on things like this but I thought might help others who are reluctant to do this step which I was from beginning too. Via WhatsApp I contacted Dr Alper’s clinic, soon after I was contacted by by Ferit who deals with international patients, after agreeing on the area’s I wanted to be treated and soon after we agreed on the price and the date of surgery, I traveled to Istanbul on 28/12/18 , me and my wife we where picked up in Airport by Ferit., he made us very well come and looked very professional and very honest person, he took us to our hotel , very nice hotel in 4 Levant area, close to shops restaurants and shopping Malls. On 29th in the morning Ferit picked us up took us to the Hospital Cenrtrium and we met with Dr Alper, same very professional and very understanding and very good listener, we agreed to do liposuction on belly ,flanks , back sides and chest, I stayed in a hospital till around 7:30pm then went to the surgery came out around 11:30pm ! He took nearly 4 litters of fat , my wife was waiting for me , when they brought me out I was ver very cold , my wife with the help of the other staff they started nursing me, straight after the surgery Dr Alper came to my suit to check on me and for reassuring that everything was good , at 2:00am I did my first little walk which it was not easy, I felt very dizzy, at 3:00am I had my first meal which I was very hungry and I finished it all, then did nearly 15 minutes walk , felt bruised and tired, on 30th Dr Alper came back to do his last check before I leave the hospital, he was very happy with the surgery and the way I felt too. We left the hospital around 3:00pm went back to the hotel with Ferit, same night we went for shopping Mall around our hotel we stayed out till 10:30pm, I should admit I thought before the surgery I will not be able to go out probably for couple of days but I felt perfectly normal to walk and all this down for my Wife’s help because if it was not for her I don’t think I will be able to do what I was doing, she didn’t let me to bend , she was dressing me, putting socks on putting my shoes on, she was a very very good help and a very good company. On our 5 remaining days in Istanbul we went to visit most of attractions, Ferit took us by his car as good generous gesture to Sultanahmet mosque, which it was very nice from him, it was very nice day, we went on the boat too, we really enjoyed our time in Istanbul, on 2/1/19 we had our last meeting with Dr Alper in his surgery, he was very happy with the last outcome, of course I’m still healing and he advised it will take around 6 months tIll you will see the real result, he was very happy answer all the questions from me and from my wife , on 3rd of January at 5:30am we were picked up by Ferit to go back to Airport. I was very happy with all the service I received from Ferit I defenatly gives him 100 out of 100 . Dr Alper same I recommend him to anyone, already we are in touch with Ferit for further treatments for a member of my family . Now I’m nearly 8 days post my surgery, still stiff, swelled and bruised, not very easy to go in and out of car, walking no problem and already I can see the difference in my look, I’m glad I have done it, first thanks to my wife then to to Ferit and Dr Alper and hospital staff.
I will definitely recommend Dr. Alper Tuncel. I think he is one of the best Plastic Surgeons in his area. You can close your eyes and leave yourself on his magic hands to perform his art. I will do anything in the future that he can do to add my perfection.
The doctor contacted me on multiple platforms, urging me to delete my review and threatening legal action if I did not comply. Then I was contacted by an unknown number (via whatsapp) claiming to represent his legal team. This person also pressured me to remove my review and warned of legal consequences if I refused. While I understand that reviews can be a sensitive matter, I found these repeated attempts intimidating and unprofessional. After I posted my honest and respectful review about my experience with Alper Tuncel, I also received an irritating message from him via WhatsApp, saying: “I hope you just rot and go away.” This was deeply upsetting, as I had expressed my concerns in a polite and constructive manner without any personal insults. In addition, shortly after my review was posted, I noticed a sudden influx of overwhelmingly positive comments on his Google profile. To me, this gave the impression that former patients may have been encouraged to leave reviews in response, which could potentially skew the overall perception of his ratings. I am sharing my experience because I believe that honest and unbiased reviews are essential for helping patients make informed decisions. It is disappointing to see a professional react to constructive criticism with what I perceived as intimidation tactics across multiple platforms, followed by an apparent effort to overshadow negative feedback with positive reviews. Transparency and professionalism are crucial in building trust, and unfortunately, this experience has left me questioning both.) I had a detailed conversation with the doctor, during which he was friendly and discussed my concerns at length. I got the impression that he tries to engage with patients. However, I noticed that he does not seem very open to criticism. When I looked at his Instagram profile, I observed that some of the “after” photos, such as those of endoscopic facelifts, appeared filtered. It wasn’t just that the skin looked smoother—one particular “after” photo that was posted at two different times appeared altered in the later post. The shape of the face seemed adjusted, as if through editing or filters. I politely reached out via Instagram to ask about this, providing screenshots to clarify my observations. Initially, the doctor responded kindly and explained that his employees were responsible for the images. He assured me that the patient looked more like the photo I felt had been edited. However, when I then asked if he could show me the unedited version of another photo, his response changed. He told me to look for another doctor. I emphasized that I was being respectful in my questions, but shortly afterward, I was blocked from his profile. In my opinion, transparency and trust are essential in this sensitive field. For me, this includes being willing to answer questions openly and professionally
My nose turned out horrible I had to get a painful revision nosejob and lost a big amount of money. He was also very rude and not understanding. I don't know if other procedures are better but I really don't recommend anybody to go there for Rhinoplasty
I wasn’t going to leave a review but I’ve decided to help protect other people from going through what I’ve gone through it’s probably the best thing to do. The surgery was unsuccessful and I’ve contacted the surgery for help and I’ve been ignored multiple times and left helpless, the manager Ferit won’t allow me to speak to the surgeon directly because he’s worried about what I’m going to the owner and surger Dr Alper Tuncel so effectively I’m in limbo. Please avoid this clinic, there are plenty of very good surgeons in Turkey that won’t let you down. Updated on 23 Jun 2020: Pictures from surgery and contact with the surgery
I want to see Dr. Alper Tuncel as soon as possible. I am not living in Turkey but my relatives are living there so I can arrange a week for full recovery. I was very little and unexperienced in my first operation. I want a good looking natural breasts thats all. I know that plastic surgeons are very experienced in my home country, so this time I don' t want german surgeons to make my revision
