As others have noted, you can't judge the effectiveness of a Botox treatment immediately. Some here have said wait 3 to 5 days, others say 2 weeks. Our standard is 10 days. And 20 units of Botox placed properly should yield good results. 

I can't speak for your doctor, but I will say that though I strive to get the dose perfect the first time, if I do anything I'll err on the side of less. Why? Because you can't take away Botox...and if you end up with too much your only option is to wait for it to wear off. But if it isn't quite enough, you can always add more. My reputation is on the line with every treatment. I want every patient to be happy with their results and I will not compromise that in the name of profit. Any good doctor feels the same. I'm fairly confident that your doctor gave you the dose he felt was appropriate. Besides, if your doctor really was trying to cheat you, don't you think he would do MORE Botox so he could charge you more?

It can be up to 10 days before you see full results from a Botox treatment. Be aware that one side may react sooner than the other, so if you see uneven results at 6 days, give it 4 more days before you consider a touch-up!

Minoxidil must be used daily, and for as long as the user wants to see improvement with hair growth.  It takes at least 3-6 months of consistent, proper application to begin to see hair growth.  If a week is skipped, patients will report seeing a decrease almost immediately.  I wouldn't recommend starting it if you don't intend to continue using it indefinitely!

In our experience with Kybella, patients saw very gradual, and only minimal improvement, even after 3 or more treatments.   Several of our patients had gained weight by the time they returned for follow up, which makes it impossible to gauge the effectiveness of Kybella.  At our office we use a combination of CoolSculpting (for fat loss) and Ultherapy (for skin tightening) for the best possible results.  However, if the patient just has a very small, localized area of extra fat it may be worth trying Kybella, with the understanding that the results may be subtle.

From studies thus far, the results of ThermiVa will generally last at least a year, then maintenance is recommended every 12 to 18 months. It should be noted that initial treatments consist of a series of 3 treatments, but maintenance is usually only one treatment. At our facility, the maintenance treatment is greatly discounted to encourage women to maintain their results.
