Exceeded my expectations! I found doctor Lara on google looking for the best doctor in TJ . He was the first one that came up . I consulted with another doctor as I was working with him and Dr.Lara had an incredible energy that made me feel safe and comfortable. His coordinating team is always very supportive and responsive. Got a tummy tuck and change of implants and so far I am 3 days in recovery with very minimal pain and discomfort. His quality in work is excellent and I am very happy I went with Dr.Lara

Fantastic doctor!!! delivered the best results and exceeded my expectations. He did exactly what I envisioned my results. He was able to make me feel very safe and comfortable. The whole team is fantastic .

One month post opp swelling is 90% gone . Scar line is getting pinkish and I am able to walk better aging. I can’t wait what my results will look in a few month with the scar line. Can’t wait for my next procedure with him

Okay so I’m almost 6 months post operation and since my new breast have dropped they’re BIGGER than expected! I’m 5’6”, about 117lbs., 37YO with one child. I’m very athletic and wanted to be sure they would let affect the balance (I figure skate so this was very important to me..). Dr.Lara made sure to accommodate my preference in aesthetics and lifestyle which was refreshing. We went conservative at 280cc’s high profile silicone naturelle by allergen (sp?). Anywho, the whole experience was seamless and the doctors were fantastic. I closed my eyes, opened them and boom—- they were done! And they didn’t even
have to use general anesthesia!
Next three days they were very sore but nothing unexpected.. after all they were placed under the muscle and I have issues sitting still so I’m sure that was a factor lol. Anywho, they turned out FAR better than I expected and now are just a part of me! Feel naturally, look natural, and are indeed my larger than the doctor and I anticipated —— however still look natural! Thank you Dr.Lara!!!!

From beginning of my communication till now I was able to always get a fast response. Arlene is great! Dr. Lara was honest and explained everything. My recovery has been manageable and I already see results and I’m 3.5 weeks post op. I’ll definitely be going back for neck lift and breast lift no implants

Dr Lara did exactly what I wanted. I had a previously botched liposuction in 2016 that left me with excessive fibrosis Dr. Lara was able to smooth my stomach and give me the most realistic beautiful belly button along with shaping me in an hourglass shape. Arlene is amazing and responsive. They have followed up with me after my surgery and answered any questions that I had. I will definitely go back for more procedures

Dr. Lara is seriously the best. He did an extended thigh lift and fat transfer to my face in January 2021. From the consult to paying my deposit and booking my surgery date, everything was seamless. He's a very caring doctor. Awesome bedside manner and his staff is fantastic. The hospital experience was also great. Dr. Lara and his team are very quick to respond to emails and messages. I'm so happy with my results. No more wrinkled skin hanging off of my thighs. I knew that I would need more than one round on my thighs due to the amount of skin I had, so he will be doing a revision on them sometime next year. I highly recommend him. Don't second doubt yourself. Go for it. You will not regret it.

8 months post op updated pics of thighs for the person wanting to see scar pictures. Even after 8 months, he has still been in contact with me. I'm so happy that someone told me about him, because he doesn't have a lot of pictures posted for pre op and post op.

I wish I could give Dr. Lara more than 5 stars! My entire experience was nothing less than stellar! My first point of contact was through e-mail with his patient coordinator Fernanda. She was extremely professional and very easy to work with. She walked me through the process to obtain a free consultation. She even set up a virtual consultation after Dr. Lara saw my images and made his recommendations. I am a gastric bypass patient that is 55 years old. I was interested in work on my torso. I decided to undergo a circular abdominoplasty (with muscle repair), 360* liposuction, fat transfer to my buttocks (not a BBL- simply to create a balanced sihouette) and an anchor breast lift without implants. I traveled to TJ by myself and wouldn't change a thing. It allowed me to focus on ME and my recovery needs. Dr. Lara's surgical suite is next door to CER. He has his own surgical staff so they are a well oiled unit. Everyone was so very friendly! The surgical suite was exceptionally clean and modern. The staff told me everything that was happening and I was never left wondering. He had a cardiologist do an EKG right before surgery. His anesthesiologist was awesome. He visited me and told me all about how they do a epidural type of sedation because its safer for surgery in excess of 3 hours. Then he told me about the wonderful "cocktail" he would give me before they started the epidural. He told no lies. I was night night after the cocktail and the epidural was gone when I woke up. You spend the night in the surgical suite room. It was immaculate and wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The next morning the nurses helped me shower and get into my faja. I won't lie, you are sore but not in horrible pain at all. They called my ride to my recovery house and I had a week of care post op. I did re-visit Dr. Lara's office to have lymphatic drainage massages starting at 3 days post op. That is a must! His massage therapist was wonderful and the office (across the street from the surgical suite) was very modern and clean. I couldn't ask for a better experience. I am now 12 weeks post op and the results are simply beautiful!
(Just for comparison mistake, I did visit a local plastic surgeon. He wanted $27,000 with zero nights stay, no after care (my recovery house was an additional $160 per night BUT I had 24/7 nurses and doctor care plus all fresh and healthy meals and laundry!), no mention of needed drainage massages, and he only sends patients home with Spanx which is not enough compression for optimal results.)

I'm about 4-5 days post-op and I feel amazing! I had little to no bruising and Fernanda the patient coordinator is completely astounding! I asked her so many questions and in fact gave her a lot of trouble, but it just feels like a huge relief to gone through it. The chin implant looks super natural and my brow lift evened out a eyebrow higher than the other. However, I'm still waiting on the rhinoplasty to go down as the nasal holes are still pretty swelled up but I'm really impressed with the size (which is a lot smaller than it used to be).

Dr Lara is excellent. From his bedside manner to his surgery skills. His staff is extremely responsive and the aftercare, too. I have had surgery in the United States, and in comparison, Dr Lara level of care was of much higher quality. Her executive assistant was extremely responsive to my many questions before and after surgery. And when I requested aftercare appointments, they were promptly scheduled.

The most amazing Doctor in Tijuana, everybody was treating me amazing big thanks to Fernanda his patient coordinator. She is amazing i had so much questions for her and she was replying so fast on each question. Dr Lara I really love my nose, I got my nose done and the result is Perfect I really appreciate your work. At first I was so worried that my nose how will look like after the surgery, but everything went very great. The dr and his staff are super nice even the clinic was super clean.

I had a great experience. You are in great hands. I had Liposculpture and Brazilian Butt Lift. Amazing results. His staff and the Dr himself were very professional and caring. I will definitely return to him.
