I'm 45 years old that goes to the gym 3-4 times a week but not making progress with my dream of a getting a 6 pack. A friend of mine had Lipo and a Nose job with Dr. Arevalo which looked amazing so decided to take the plunge. I reached out to Dr. Arevalo via WhatsApp and sent him my pictures and discussed my expectations. He was kind and honest with me. I received all the information I needed and we set a surgery date. I flew into Bogota and met with Dr. Arevalo. The consultation was not rushed and he took his time to go through my realistic expectations and ricks. At no time did I feel pressure. I decided to proceed with the liposuction procedure. The hospital is very very modern in a beautiful safe place in Bogota. I stayed in a hotel called Cassa Luxury which is amazing and is opposite an amazing park which worked out great for my daily walk. The hotel also has loads of restaurants, shops pharmacies and supermarkets nearby. The east step was getting my blood work done, ECG and also to meet with the anesthesiologist for my pre surgery work up. On the morning of the surgery I walked from my hotel to the hospital. Signed up all my consent forms and got wheeled up to the operating room where I was met by Dr.Arevalo. He marked me up with a marker and made sure I was comfortable. I woke u after the procedure and was wheeled down to my modern private room. I had my personal nurse who looked after me and made sure all was well. She had me walking the next morning and it was time to go home. Dr. Arevalo organized for a nurse to stay at my hotel for 3 days during the day. She helped change my dressings, shower and put on my compression garment. He also got a specialist to come to my hotel to perform post Lipo drainage massages once a day. We also did a few post surgery checkups at his office which is a 5 min walk away. It's me been 10 months since I had the procedure and I can say without a doubt I was in the best possible hands. Im so great full for his professionalism and compassion. I'm so happy with my results which is very natural.

I was in need to change my breast implants and also was seeking an enlargement. A close friend had recently visited Dr. Arevalo in Bogota, Colombia, for a cosmetic surgery procedure, namely rhinoplasty, and she highly recommended this Doctor and clinic due to the high level of professionalism with which she had been treated. My friend also confirmed he is one of the most highly respected doctors in the country. I decided to have the procedure and spoke with Doctor Arevalo whilst I was in California. He was very attentive, discussed the procedure with me, and gave me all necessary recommendations to travel to Bogota for the procedure. I immediately felt very comforted by him. His advice was that I would need three days in Bogota prior to the procedure, and 10 days for recovery in Bogota, after the procedure to ensure it was safe to fly back to the United States and avoid any post surgery risks. When I arrived in Bogota, Doctor Arevalo was highly attentive at all times, and in my opinion, provided the best advice in terms of size and shape for my implants. He also perfectly understood the result I wanted and I certainly could not be happier with the outcome. The entire procedure from beginning to end was so worry free and simple, from carrying out blood tests, to speaking with the anaesthetist, that I felt very calm before my procedure. The day of the operation was so easy and straightforward I would definitely do it again! I arrived at the hospital at 6am, was seen to by the nurses, the operation started on time at 7am with general anaesthetic, and two hours later was all completed. I was under observation at the hospital for a mere two hours and then was able to leave . Doctor Arevalo contacted me every day after the operation to ensure I was well, and saw me as necessary to make the required post-op checks. Again I would truly like to stress that I highly recommend this doctor and his staff, especially for anyone travelling from United States for a cosmetic surgery procedure. Doctor Arevalo´s experience, command of the english language, understanding of the patient´s desired results, professionalism, and willingness to be in contact every step of the way, has made this a great experience.

Dr. Arevalo is extremely professional and caring. He performed 4 procedures on my face: a brow lift, an upper and lower eye lift, a neck lift and a bichectomy. The results are amazing yet very natural. I have a nice jawline, my eyes are more almond-shaped and open - like they were when I was in my 30's, my face is less round and I have cheekbones. My scars are almost invisible without make-up after two months. When I returned to work after 3 weeks, several colleagues commented on how relaxed and refreshed I looked after my vacation! I look much better but I do not look facelifted. Dr. Arevalo is a perfectionist: he offers comprehensive post surgery follow-up, including various therapies that speed-up recovery. I saw him every day during the first week after my surgery and he even called me on Sunday to see how I was doing, then every other day during the second week, and twice during the third week post surgery. Anytime I called him or his assistant Eliana or sent a message with a question, I received a quick answer. The Dhara clinic where Dr. Arevalo performs surgery is excellent: only plastic surgeries are performed there, which minimizes the risk of bacterial infections common in larger hospitals. I spent one night in the clinic and was totally satisfied with the care I received. I was monitored constantly and found the nurses very caring and dedicated. Dr. Arevalo also arranged for a nurse to go home with me the day after surgery. She stayed for 12 hours and came back the next day for twelve hours. Dr. Arevalo is a great surgeon: it takes incredible hands and immense talent to do what he did with my face.

I traveled to Columbia for surgery because the quality of the surgery is high and the price is low. Dr Arevalo was great. He speaks English so you do not need to worry about bringing a translator with you. If you have extensive surgery or are worried about pain you can stay in the hospital his office is located in. I had lots of stuff done and was happy with all of it. I had Upper and lower blephoroplasty, liposuction, fat transfer to smile lines, brow lift, and rhinoplasty. All of it was very subtle and even my mother couldn't tell I had had anything done. (I just looked better)

I decided to travel to Colombia for 3 weeks for a breast reduction (double D cup to a C cup). Judging by the quality of the treatment and the good price I also opted for a lipo in abs, lower back and thighs. Dr. Arevalo is an EXCELLENT doctor. He has excelent communciation skills, he has a good eye for shaping the female body and his clinic is one of the top clinics in Bogota. After the surgery the i countinue seeig or speaking with Dr. Arevalo daily until my departure from Bogota. The results were excellent and recovery was quick, but of course, expect recovery from a lipo to be a harsh one, so be prepared for a week or more of suffering. Hi, I'm a 35 yr old guy and have a hectic work schedule and a 3 year old daughter. I work out 3 times a week if possible but feel I need some additional help. My best friend did Lipo with Dr Alberto Arevalo and had amazing results. I plan to do Vaser Lipo on my neck, abdomen, chest and back. I flew into Bogota (Colombia) today with my wife. Tomorrow I have my consultation with the plastic surgeon. Dr Arevalo sent me a list of blood test I needed to get done before I left my country which I emailed to him. I'm nervous about the procedure and the recovery but now I'm here there is no turning back. Updated on 15 Jul 2015: Today I went to Dr Alberto Arevalo's office. To be honest I was nervous all morning but after meeting the surgeon everything changed. Dr Alberto Arevalo speaks perfect English and has a very spacious and modern office. He was very kind and patient. He took his time to explain the procedure in detail, from where the incisions will be, my recovery and what to expect after the procedure. The entire consultation took approximately an hour and at no time did I feel rushed. After the consultation I was taken upstairs by his secretary to check my blood pressure, to be weighed, complete and sign all documents. After this I was taken to another room and introduced to a person that specializes in garments where I was measured for two body shaper garments. Once this was done I was taken to another room where I had a consultation with the anaesthesoligist who went through in detail how things will be done. He explained after the surgery I would be kept in the recovery room to ensure everything is went ok before taken to my room. They insist that I spend a night in the hospital to be on the safe side. After this it was time for me to relax, go to the mall and eat at one of Bogota's many amazing restaurants. One thing that shocked me was how things were really done by the book and how professional Dr Alberto Arevalo's set up was. Not its just to wait two more days for my procedure. Updated on 17 Jul 2015: I got to the hospital this morning for 7am. The hospital is a new hospital that specializes in plastic surgery. Said my goodbyes to my wife then they wheeled me upstairs. Dr Arevalo came to greet me and answer any final questions. I was then taken to a room where Dr Arevalo marked out the areas needing Lipo, neck, chest, abdomen, flanks and back. I was then taken back to the recovery room and taken into the operating theatre. I was out to sleep and woke up in the recovery room. I was in pain so the nurse added morphine to my drips and the pain disappeared. I was kept in the recovery room for a few hours (safety reasons) when wheeled down to my room where my wife met me. I woke up in a binder so I have no idea how I look but will post pictures tomorrow. Updated on 18 Jul 2015: Hi guys, well I just took my binder off and had a shower with the help of a personal nurse the hospital provides. Took a quick pic, I'm still swollen and a lot of liquid is coming out I'm blown away with the results. Where have my love handles gone??? Will update with more pics later on. Updated on 23 Feb 2016: 6 months has really flown by. I have continued eating healthy and the new body Dr. Arevalo gave me has really motivated me to work hard in the gym. The reason I choose Dr. Arevalo is because he operated on a friend of mine and the results were NATURAL and amazing. I'm not a fan at all of abdominal sculpting. In my humble opinion it does not look natural and I could easily tell if someone had abdominal sculpting as it looks like pockets of fat. I am also scared of what it would look like in a few years if I put on weight (fat). The surgeon confirmed that with the fat gone getting abs would not be difficult. I am very very very happy with my results, it looks very natural which is what I wanted. Dr. Arevalo is an amazing, caring and very honest surgeon. He took his time to truly listen to what I wanted. He has given me a body that exceeded my expectations. He is truly an artist and a gifted surgeon.
