I love this man!!! His bedside manner is second to none!!! Dr. Losken is extremely soft-spoken and caring. His work is superior!!! I am more than pleased!!! God has allowed Dr. Losken to give me a new lease on life!!! Updated on 15 Oct 2019: I feel sooooooo GOOD!!! Nine (9) weeks Post-Op tomorrow (10/16/19). Belly is still very swollen and I literally live in my Binder since I work from home. My left Breast wound from “splitting stitches” has closed and healed nicely. I cannot say enough about Dr. Albert Losken ~ he is TRULY a God-Send!!!
Today 2/1/2019 I had a tummy tuck with repair and lipo with Dr. Losken and I can say that him and his staff are God sent angels. Very nice, honest and professional. They are available anytime for questions and quick to respond. I love the decision I made and glad I did. I am now almost 24 hours post and I am not any any uncontrollable pain or anything. Updated on 2 Feb 2019: I was very nervous and scared but I found Dr. Losken and literally fell in love. He was very personal and answered any question that cane his way. He staff is wonderful and God sent. I had some of the best nurses in the recovery. I am so glad I decided to to this here in the US and woh Dr. Losken Updated on 6 Feb 2019: I am till in shock that I did this surgery.. but I just wanted to share y experience and get free back that I’ll help me. I have now begun to swell and one bruising. The itchy mess has started and guess the nerves are waking lol because I’m getting this burning feeling. Updated on 12 Mar 2019: So I am now 5 weeks and still feel great. I have started lymphatic massages and definitely can say they help. After the first one I could move a little better and noticed I was not that stiff. However I still have swelling and feel like some days I see results and others I sit still feel fat and bloated smh Updated on 10 Jun 2019: So I had surgery Feb 1 with Dr. Losken and it has official been 4 months. I had not really worked out yet. But I walk 4 miles a day after work. On top of my normal walking for work. I started getting lymphatic massages at 6 weeks which helps a lot. I am still swollen at times and very much still numb. I do wear a faja still 24 hours a day. He stated I can go 12 on and 12 off but I’ve noticed better results with me wearing it longer. These pics are recent photos
I had a Breast Reduction with Dr. Losken Yesterday And from what I've already seen he has done an amazing job my Breast was a size 38 H and I had really bad back pain the back pain has stopped instantly and the results are better then I imagined them to be I will upload pics after my first post-op appointment when the bandages are off. He is truly Amazing
Very pleased with the results of my surgery. I did a lot of research before choosing this surgeon. He writes the textbooks and textbook chapters on tummy tucks and breast augmentation, and has a Harvard Medical School education. He was very compassionate and kind with me. I love my results.
I am very pleased with my results after weight loss reconstruction surgery. I had multiple procedures and could highly recommend Dr. Losken and Emory. They were excellent. I really appreciated his kindness during what could have been very difficult time but was made so much easier with his skill and compassion. I highly recommend him.
I had a breast reduction/lift with Losken on 7/11/17. I am so happy with my results so far. I was a 36HH. I asked to be a full C or D . He gave me what i asked for. I read tons of blogs before surgery. So i was ready. I bought front opening bra and sleepwear. I will make a list of things i bought later.
I was diagnose with breast cancer. Then I had to see dr losken about my reconstruction after my left mesectomy. Let me tell you this.. He his so awesome words can't explain. He breaks every thing down.. He easy to talk to he smiles great staff working with him . minimal wating time. Love this dr losken. I would recommend my Emory experience to any and evry one .. Thank you dr losken.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. Dr.Losken was able to preserve my nipple and skin after my rt side mastectomy. I recently had my breast augmentation. Dr. Losken is always pleasant and patient. It is always easy to get an appointment with him with minimal wait time. I am happy with my overall experience with him and would recommend him without a doubt.
I finally have the time and money to get my procedure that i have wanted for so long. I consulted with dr movagharnia. He is very attentive, polite, and funny. He assured me that all would go well if i followed all his instruction. The consult was lengthy. He answered all my questions and did not rush me at all. His office is very simple and he did not have all the technology that some of the other ps have such as computer imaging etc. Which is fine by me because he felt a hernia in my belly button that would probably not have been found otherwise. He did a visual and physical exam showing me where the tubes would be placed and where the scar would be. He also stated that he would lipo and contour the back. I have to respond with my decision in 30 days in order to keep my current price. Otherwise they add 20 percent. I plan on seeing at least 1 more surgeon. I will update with photos once i make a decision. Any advice is appreciated! Updated on 4 Dec 2015: I went to see dr davoudi and i think he is the one. He made me super excited to have the procedure. His staff is excellent. The dr talks very fast and i was tryinv to keep up. I understand that he sees many patients and has been doing this for years so he is. Constantly repeating the same things over and over. He was very nice and energetic. He seemed rushed but but he did answer all my questions, showed me pics, and examined my body to see what he could recommend. When i told the staff i just wanted a tt they asked no fat transfer? So i asked the dr about it and he said i dont need it because i have enough butt and i dont have much fat to use anyway. His price is cheaper than movagharnia, but thats not whats important to me. Dr davoudi made me feel excited. He explained how contour shapes the body. His tt looks good too. He said realself patients know alot about surgery so he educated me on some things that i didnt know. I will post my date soon. Please share any thoughts on this doctor if you had surgery by him. Updated on 8 Dec 2015: I have scheduled my surgery with Davoudi for late january. I am so very nervous but i have put it off long enough. Thank you to all the ladies who have shared their experiences and motivation on this site. I feel confident that all will go well. I will post pics soon. Updated on 8 Dec 2015: 1. He is double board certified in plastic and general surgery. 2. Part of the ASPS (spelling?) 3. He was very thorough during the consult. I had many questions. Bythe time he was done speaking he answered them all. I of course asked the questions again anyway. 4. He made me feel more excited than nervous. 5. His hospital offers the exparel injection vs the pain pump. Pain management is very important to me. 6. His pictures were the type of results I am looking for. 7. He explained things VERY well and i am in agreement with how he performs his surgeries. (Double sutures) Updated on 18 Dec 2015: My new price with dr davoudi is 7000. 10000 was the price for another surgeon i saw and i am unable to update it. I am having a tt with lipo to my side in late january. I have bee reading more reviews and preparing myself for both the physical and emotional aspects of this recovery. I have to say that i am concerned with some of the things i am seeing. Not everyone is satisfied with their results. Just because it looks good in a photo doesnt mean it looks good in person. We cannot see clear details from a photo. Sometimes i wish i was lucky like some people i know that their body snaps back after pregancy. Since im not that lucky this is something i feel i have to do for myself. If you read my profile you can see that i have been wanting this for years. I almost did it a few years ago but decided to wait. Now here i am again, except this time i am willing to go all the way with it because nothing changed. It seems that my stomach get worse as the years go by. Im 30 and i spent my 20's hiding my stomach. Im tired of killing myself in the gym for minimal results. Im also tired of shopping for the same types of clothing that will camouflage my body. Wearing fajas everyday in the blazing heat of summer is really getting annoying now. I am surprised that i still want to go through this procedure after some of the things i have been seeing. I guess that shows how fed up i am. I am ready for a real change but it makes me a little sad that i have to take this route. Updated on 18 Dec 2015: This is me letting it all out. For the those that know me you will be shocked to see this because i always have on a girdle. No one knows until i show them. Then they are like, " Oh okay, i see". smh. Updated on 23 Dec 2015: Could someone let me know what is the most painful part of the tummy tuck? Is it the muscle repair or the incision? I was thinking that the incision site would be more painful because it is in a very sensitive spot. Am i wrong? Updated on 21 Nov 2016: I did get my tummy tuck after all this anxiety. I had my tummy tuck with Dr Losken, not Dr. Davoudi. Although Dr Davoudi was great I chose a different doctor. The recovery was very difficult for me as I was unable to stand straight for 4 weeks. I was desperate to get better. Thanks to all the ladies who took the time to discuss this with me. I knew exactly what to expect from this. This site has been so helpful. I am now 9 months PO. I still have slight side effects from the procedure but overall very happy with the outcome. I will post more in detail when I get a chance. Updated on 30 Dec 2016: I decided to have my tummy tuck with Dr. Losken after speaking with 3 other plastic surgeons. I made this decision because I felt that he was really concerned with safety and did not try to sell me other procedures. It was very hard for me to finally decide to go through with this surgey and hearing the other doctors tell me about other procedures to get in addition to the tummy tuck only made me more anxious and confused. Dr Losken was very straight forward. He was the only doctor that used the word "safely" in our conversation. I am usually very anxious and that was the word that I needed to hear to convince me that he was the right doctor for me. He is not a "hype man" and did not talk to me about other areas of my boy that he could make better. I am very sure that the other doctors I saw are excellent as well, but I chose Losken for these reasons. Before the procedure, I remember telling him exactly what I wanted and where I wanted the most lipo. Which was in my flanks. He said that he did not want to lipo too much but he would do as much as he thought was safe. After my procedure I was so drugged up I didnt really feel much pain. I felt alot of tightness. I could not talk loud due to the tightness. After a few hours I was in excruciating pain. Recovery was difficult for me. It took me a very long time to stand up straight. I kept reading reviews of women who were up and about. I felt discouraged. I was even so desperate that I forced myself to stand up straight and hurt myself! So please ladies do not force your body to recover. You will heal on your own time! My friend made me nervous by telling me that if I dont force myself to walk straight I will stay hunched forever. How stupid of me to believe that. But my muscles were so tight I have to admit it did scare me. Despite all of this, I finally healed and I am so glad I did this. It took me a month to walk completely upright. Then I started working 4 weeks later. It took me awhile to write this review but this site has helped so much. I hope I can help others to make the best decision for themselves and I thank all the ladies who took time to answer my questions. Updated on 30 Dec 2016: I have noticed that alot of us have gained weight after this procedure. I have been struggling with this weight gain. So far I have gained 12 pounds. I am very worried it is going to affect my results because I am noticing changes already. Is anyone else going through this problem? Updated on 30 Oct 2017: Its almost 2 years since my tt. Time goes fast! My muscle repair is still intact. My stomach is still flat. I did gain about 15 to 20 pounds since the procedure. The weight creeps up on you. I was always able to tell if I was putting on weight because it went to my stomach first. This time I was not able to tell because I had a flat stomach. Well it just went to my arms , back , and sides. I was hoping it would go to my butt instead. This goes to show that the operations do not change your genes and the figure has to be maintained with diet and exercise. Which I was told many times. I'm still happy with my tummy tuck. I do not like the scar. It's very noticeable, but I would rather have the scar than the pooch. Clothes look and fit much better than before. No regrets!
