Thank you for reaching out regarding botox and filler performed at the same time. The goals of botox are to relax wrinkles and fine lines by relaxing the muscle. Since it acts as a neurotoxin, the results are a smoothing effect on your skin. 

On the other hand, fillers such as Juvederm, Voluma, etc are used to fill in defects in the skin and also used to fill areas such as lips or other problem areas. 

These two can be done at the same time since they are accomplishing different results. This ofcourse will depend on your skin and the reaction that you may have to the products. 

Sometimes filler can be molded into the site you want to fill as soon as it is injected but once it settles it will maintain its position. 

Botox can be administered in the neck  muscles to relax the bands that may be causing wrinkling or premature sagging. Botox will not affect your thyroid gland or function. Hope this helps and best of luck.
