Adele Makow, MD

Dr. Adele is the real deal. The bellafill has lasted for almost 3 years. She was honest and delivered everything she promised. I'm still getting compliments on how I haven't aged a bit. I can't believe the difference still

Dr. Makow was great! She is both professional and friendly. I felt that we were on the same team; that she understood my goals and timeframe, and did her best to meet those goals. She knows her field; she has the right laser machines; her treatments achieved predicted results, and my results were a very impressive improvement compared to when I first consulted her. She explained everything and answered all of my questions patiently and thoroughly. Once when I wanted to add areas to treat she was able include those areas during that visit. Another time I had a treatment scheduled but upon seeing me she thought it was too soon, and we rescheduled. She seemed totally unconcerned that she had set aside time for me that wouldn't be used and cared only about my receiving the appropriate treatment at the right time. Early on I was concerned about a treatment having been effective. She asked me to come in that day. She examined me and was able to reassure me that the treatment was in progress to achieving results. I bought a skin product and when it turned out to not be the right one for me she gave me another product to use instead without additional cost. Before seeing Dr. Makow I called around and went to one other provider in SF. These treatments are expensive, but Dr. Makow's prices where by far the best compared to the other 4 providers I contacted. Her office is clean and comfortable, with friendly and helpful staff. She always saw me at the scheduled time. Her office is in a neighborhood shopping center with free parking, just off 280 and 92. This isn't a game changer, but it is convenient that there is a Starbucks, Safeway and CVS in the shopping center as well as a fish store, dry cleaner, shoe repair, restaurants and a few other businesses. I already said it, but it is worth repeating...my results were really great! The before pictures look frightening to me now, and I've received compliments on how nice I now look several times!

I broke out very bad from the Icon laser treatment. It lasted 10 days and made me very self conscious. My skin was very rough for about a month after the treatment. Once that was over and about two months post treatment my skin texture, elasticity and over ll look was great. For me I would not do this treatment again because of the breaking out. I prefer the ablative Pixel laser. More downtime up front but it over in 5 days and you have glowing skin :)

I have been a patient of Dr. Adele Makow for over 5 years. She is a true expert in her field and employs cutting technology in her business. I appreciate the fact that she does not try to sell the latest and greatest but tailors my procedures to what is best for me. She is extremely professional and cares about her patients. Her technique with Bellafil is profound. My results are so natural and the long lasting procedure is worth every penny. I highly recommend Dr. Makow and her staff for all your beauty needs.

I have this one 'worry' line between by eyes and I have been going to Dr. Makow for several years to have botox injected. I had tried another place before Renew Laser Clinic but felt I was always being up sold to. Dr Makow doesn't push products, is very patient and addresses what you are concerned about.

I had given up hope of doing something with the bags under my eyes. Gravity has taken its toll. I had tried another doctor, a cosmetic surgeon, with a way less than satisfactory result. Dr. Makow offered a different approach. And we are working on this at a pace I can handle. No pressure from Dr. M at all.
I am happy with my results so far and know that the "final product" will be fabulous. Her staff takes varying angle photos every visit so there's an actual visual record of the improvements. Speaking of her staff they are courteous, attentive, and respectful. The office is lovely and also warm and comfortable.

It's been 3 years since I've seen Dr. Makow. I am extremely happy with not having to wait a long period of time to see her. The price was right and she's very gentle with the needle. it was painless. I will definitely be back! I was in and out of there a lot quicker than I thought. I'm going to go back to discuss other procedures

I was a bit skeptical about getting results, but after 4 treatments I can definitely see a difference in my stomach and side flanks. They are noticeably leaner and there is a bit more definition in my muscle tone in the stomach area. My pants now fit much better. I didn't change my diet or exercise routine at all, if anything I have been really bad lately, and I drank some more alcohol during the holidays (empty calories). You might not see much of a difference the first couple times, but you will by the 3rd or 4th treatment, so it's worth it to pay for the 3rd or 4th treatment.

I'm so glad I found this gem! I have been to Renew Laser twice now; once for juvederm and last month for Bellafill. I really like Dr. Makow. She has a more reserved demeanor and is easy to talk with and a good listener. Although I haven't been to many different docs for fillers, I feel that with the results achieved on me personally, she is a master in her techniques! It's also reassuring to know that she actually teaches other Dr.s how to do injections, so she's obviously educated in the latest. She really is an artist and is very meticulous, and went above and beyond to address many of my concerns! She even gave me a little tube of arnica lotion for post procedure bruising which was a very nice touch! I highly recommend her and plan to return for all of my future aesthetic needs. Also, her office is clean, pretty and easy to access and all of her staff whom I have encountered thus far have been very helpful, friendly and welcoming and last but not least, I was able to get right in for an appointment! If you are interested in skin care products, she also has several brands for sale in the office and can help you choose which is right for your needs. I've gone to Dr. Makow for nearly 7 years. I started with a free consultation where I left with some new products. Tretinoin was one of the products and I had such great results that I returned for the laser treatment she recommended. I started with IPL and had wonderful results. My dark spots were erased away. I've had 2 Pixel ablative laser treatments and I have loved the results. I noticed a positive change in texture, reduced pore size and reduced fine lines. I also feel it has help build collagen and keep my skin tight and wrinkle free. I've also had under-eye filler done to reduce the look of tiredness. It lasted nearly 3 years and I loved the results. I've had great experiences with Dr. Makow and feel all her great treatments and advice have kept my skin in great shape. I feel lucky to have found her.
