I am a returning client of Dr. Adam Cohen of TheArtofEyes. When it comes to appearance, especially one's face, you have to stick with what and who exceedes your expectations. I've had less permanent procedures, such as botox and fillers, performed by Dr. Cohen as well as other practitioners and have chose to return to Dr. Cohen.

I eventually reached a point where I personally felt that I needed something more permanent and consulted with Dr. Cohen once again to discuss options. Dr. Cohen explained different procedures which would work best for my facial construction as well as explaining what would not work and the risks that came with it.

After months of pondering, I once again, consulted with Dr. Cohen and explained that I was mentally ready for a surgical procedure. After Dr. Cohen explained that certain procedures would make it obvious that I had work done, he then outlined what specifically he would do to treat what bothered me most about my face; which were the bags under my eyes.

Dr. Cohen gave me an education on how the procedure is typically performed and how it would be performed on my face because of the different thicknesss of my skin, the natural wrinkle lines and facial muscle structure. This all made sense to me because a typical procedure ran the risk of my lower lids being pulled away from my eyes and creating constant dry eyes.

Dr. Cohen described where incisions would be made, how much skin would be removed and the healing time-frame.

I scheduled the surgery with his assistant, Elissa and communication was always satisfying and service was V.I.P.

The day of surgery, I arrived at the hospital, checked in / registered, and with in an hour I was prepped by staff, and Dr. Cohen visited bedside amd confirmed the procedure he was going to do, how long it would take and everything else I felt I needed to know before I was discharged.

A few minutes later I was taken to the operating room. Next thing I knew, I woke up in the recovery bed and I felt great! In less than an hour, I was on my way home. From the time I left my house to the time I returned was less than 5 hours!

I'm on day 4 of healing and have followed Dr. Cohen's instructions regarding eating, treating and cleaning. I barely have bruising, there is swelling but it is subsiding and I can tell that the bags under my eyes that I hated seeing everyday were not there any longer. I still have small bandages on the incision sites and Dr. Cohen will be removing those tomorrow.

I'm looking forward to my follow-up visit tomorrow and seeing the progress. Although there is still swelling, which is to be expected, it is not as bad as I expected and I keep telling myself I should have went through with the procedure a long, long time ago.

Let me tell you a positive experience I recently had with Dr Cohen. My mom and I went to see him regarding anti-aging measures and after significant time spent with Dr Cohen we decide on a Vampire Facelift and filler for my mom and a Vampire Facial for me. His offices were very nice and professional in the Glen. He was very practical about what he could do and what he could not do - we all have things that we don't like about ourselves so I appreciated this about Dr. Cohen. We were both very happy with the outcome and will certainly be back to see Dr. Cohen and his associate Aggie who does medical facials as well as laser hair removal.

My upper eyelids were drooping mostly because of genetics but were worse with age. Because I am relatively young, I wanted a conservative result and this is exactly what I got. It's an improvement but it is subtle, not "obvious". I am really happy with the result and the pre and post surgery experiences were all positive. In my before photo, you can see how the eyelid is resting on my eyelashes. In the after photo (taken one month later), it is still a little swollen but you can see my eyelids, the eye is much more open. Now it is about 3 months later and everything looks really good, even better than the after photo I am posting here. Sorry I don't have a better after photo...Very happy patient!

I was really impressed with Dr. Cohen and his staff. I have a really crazy schedule and they did whatever they had to in order to accommodate me. I truly liked how comfortable I felt around Dr. Cohen. He had an amazing bedside manner and his confidence, patience and expertise made me instantly know with 100% certainty that he was the physician for me. They answered all my questions and did not try to sell me on anything more. I was very pleased with how natural the Botox and filler turned out. I will definitely be back for a future visit. D

I went to Dr. Adam J. Cohen who has a practice known as The Art of Eyes, for botox and filler. I felt that I needed a bit of work to stave off the aging process. My visit with Dr Cohen was wonderful, he was professional and caring at the same time as he explained he did not want to overenhance but exentuate my natural looks. He injected some botox in my forhead and crows feet, and injected some fillers around my smile lines. He did not overdue with either and the result was incredible without being overdone. The injections were painless, and I was very pleased with the outcome. I would recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone who wants to look better while still looking natural. I would rate both himself and his practice very highly.

I've always had heavy and pronounced forehead lines and as I go older, I developed a dark melanoma on my temple. I met one of Dr. Cohen's staff members at an outing and the conversation lead to skin care and procedures. I was given the easy to remember website (theartofeyes.com) and later visited it.

The website is modern, simple to navigate adn provided ample information to motivate me to schedule a consultations with Dr. Cohen. I am glad I did!

I drove from the city to the office in Glenview, IL and found the building among the other same style buildings. When I entered the reception area, I was greeted as if I was family. I completed the standard medical questions and insurance forms provided and sat back and watched the flat screen tv in the patient's waiting area. Moments later, I was pulled away from the television and brought to the procedure room; after all, I was there from the office visit, not to watch the tele.

The procedure room was very clean and the temperature was just right. Dr. Cohen came in and began the consultation. It seemed that my comfort was Dr. Cohen's priority. The Botox and the melanoma were addressed and we narrowed down what type of results I desired and what were realistic. Each procedure was explained to me along with expectations and instructions for me during the healing stages. The Dr. also pointed out that he noticed one eyebrow was naturally higher than the other and asked if I would want the brows to be even. Sounds like a dumb question and the answer would be obvious; but he'd probably be ignoring the service if he didn't. I feel sorry for other people who visit Doctors who don't practice the way Dr. Cohen does. Attention to detail and looking out for me (the patient) is the way I view it.

I was given options...two options of how many Botox units could be used and the cost / results from both. I made decision and the Botox was injected while the anesthetics set in at the melanoma site; then the removal of the dark spot that has been bothering me for a few years. Once again, Dr. Cohen explained my instructions for the after care.

I checked out at the front desk and the total payment did not break the bank! If I knew Botox was this reasonable and painless I would have done it years ago!

So, now after almost two weeks, the Botox has exceeded my expectations and my forehead looks natural; not shinny, stretched and obvious. The melanoma removal site is a little pink just like any other healing of the skin and I expect it to get more pigment but the Dr. did say that it would be a tad discolored than the rest of my face. Heck, but that dark spot is no longer there!

I am so happy with the procedures and happy to know that a magician like Dr. Adam J. Cohen exists so close to home! And I expressed this to him when he contacted to follow-up with me two days after my visit.

I am a 38yr old mother of 3 and have been looking like I desperately needed sleep! Had injections on Monday April 9th...I am only 3days out and NO bruising to my surprise!

I was tired of people telling me I look tired from my genetic under eye grooves, that was the only part of my face that was aging me, the restaylane Dr.Cohen put in was just the right amount to give such a natural youthful look!

My usual doctor was unavailable and I needed to get some routine Botox treatments for facial wrinkles before traveling out of town for a family wedding. I chose Dr. Cohen based on his office's convenient location and what I'd seen on his website. I only wished I'd looked more carefully at his patients' online reviews.
After what seemed like an excessive (40 minutes) wait in an empty office, Dr. Cohen performed a "free consultation" before administering my Botox. Even though I mentioned that I already have a cosmetic surgeon whom I trust explicitly, he found it necessary to give me his sales pitch on numerous, more invasive procedures.
The Botox treatment felt a bit rushed compared to what I was used to, but I gave Dr. Cohen the benefit of the doubt and patiently waited over a week before realizing that something had not gone right. I've done some internet research since my appointment and found an excessive number of complaints about ineffective or short lived Botox treatments at the hands of this physician. While I don't feel the need to take the same tone as the rest of the dissatisfied customers, I'll just say that I'm not coming back and would not recommend Dr. Cohen's services.

It was an "too good to be true" deal on Botox
