I have always been overweight. I once was motivated to get in shape in 2014 and did great but 2015 my mother had a stroke and my marriage was going for a turn. In 2015 I left Nantucket ma and went to Connecticut to help my mom, during that time going through my divorce and stop working out. By the end of 2015 I went from 190 to 245, then entering 2016 I reached 296 which I maintained that weight while seeing a doctor. I had so many health issues was unbelievable . March 8, 2017

Ive been on here lurking since the end of last year, looking at everyones stories. I have been doing everything i need for my insurance to approve the surgery and it was finally approved on 9/6/17. My surgery date is 10/4/17. Its has been a full year working on this. ???????????? im so happy, ive been over weight since i was little, ive tried countless diets, pills, exercises, etc and nothing has worked. This is the heavyest ive ever been. I am super excited to start this journey
