I had a breast augmentation with Dr. Edelstein in June 2021.

My experience was uncomplicated and I was delighted with my results. The consultation was thorough and informative, I had my measurements taken and was provided with three different implant options based on my frame. I tried the implants on and decided to go with the largest option. Dr. Edelstein explained that I do have slight asymmetry and that different-sized implants in each breast would be able to correct this, I opted to have the same size implants as there was a tiny difference between each side. He also explained there may be a degree of stretch marks that appear since the skin is stretched quickly. This and scarring were two of my largest concerns. Initially, I wanted to have a transaxillary incision to further disguise the surgical scar, although Dr. Edelstein recommended the inframammary incision. I decided to follow his recommendation, and I am glad I did. The nurse was lovely and professional in documenting my pre-op appointments.

Immediately after the procedure, I was handled with great care and compassion. On a scale of 0-10 I would say my recovery experience was an 8. I did not expect the recovery to be as intense as it was, It was difficult to rest and sleep at an elevation, the pain was intense at times, I was very irritable due to the pain medication, and I found it time-consuming to constantly visit the hair salon to have my hair washed as I could not lift my arms above my elbow level to wash my hair myself. This was the only difficulty I encountered during my recovery period. I wore the post-surgery bra every day for the first year, and I still wear a medium-support sports bra to bed each night. I used the silicone scar gel and scar sheets for the first year to reduce the appearance of the surgical scar. I do not have any pigmented scarring, there is just a very faint line where the incision was made, which I am personally happy with. I also used the iS Clinical sheald recovery balm on the incision as a body lotion (before applying the scar gel then scar sheet on top) and Josie Maran argan oil and whipped argan oil body butter on my breasts to prevent stretch marks, which I am so relieved I did not develop!

I appreciated the attention to detail at each follow-up appointment, I was very satisfied with my results at the one-year mark.

I am now writing this review after almost 3.5 years and I am glad to say I am still as happy as I was at the one-year mark.

I started as a 32AA and transitioned to a 32C. I am 5'3, 115 lbs, and of East Asian descent. I received the Allergan Inspira SRF 265cc high-profile cohesive silicone implants, placed under the muscle via an inframammary incision. (Which I now appreciate as I could not lift my arms above my elbow during the first 1-2 months of my recovery, so if I had a transaxillary incision I would not have been able to properly care for the incision and prevent scarring.)


Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Edelstein Cosmetic and Dr. Edelstein is a skilled plastic surgeon who I have recommended to many of my friends.

I've been debating for the longest time and finally decided to do it! I really wanted to go for a natural size because I'm already petite. I had a hard time finding sizes on here that were low plus profile so wanted to share my results :)

Felt super nauseous and puked a few times from the anesthesia. Couldn’t keep anything down so I slept a lot

My experience was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful, understanding and professional. All my questions were answered in a timely fashion. I was made to feel comfortable. It was a very positive experience.

I am a mom of two, age 32, after breastfeeding my breast became deflated and lifeless so I decided to get breast augmentation done by dr. Edelstein, he was recommended by most of my friends and he was my first choice.
I got 385cc in my right and 365cc in my left breast, incision under the breast and placement under the muscle. I weight 126lb and 5'4 height. I am pretty active hopefully it won't affect that too much after the implant.

I didn’t need any pain meds, everything feels
Sore and tight, it’s super high right now but it’s normal. The whole process was so easy.

I feel really good less sore than day 2 already. Less swelling as well, I moved and walked around pretty often I was not bedridden, I also took arnica pills they recommended at the office, I think all that contributed to such an easy recovery process.

Exceeded my expectations.

Dr. Edelstein performed a labiaplasty on me last year. I consulted with several surgeons but Dr. Edelstein was by far the kindest and most reassuring. He answered all of my questions and didn't rush me at all. I decided to go ahead and I'm SO glad I did. The result was even better than I expected, he has a very clear understanding of anatomy and proportion which I think is evident in his BAs too. The procedure was relatively painless and fast healing. There is no scarring or any indication at all that I even had surgery. His bedside manner was impeccable both immediately before and after the surgery. Excellent surgeon - highly recommend!!!

Got my BA done 6 months ago by Dr. Edelstein and I couldn't be more happier with the results. He is extremely patient and took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answered any questions or concerns I had. My whole experience from the beginning until the end was absolutely amazing.

Dr Edelstein patiently discussed different options with me regarding my BA and was completely honest and helpful when deciding on what size to go. I felt very comfortable and confident that I was in good hands through it all. The whole team at the Edelstein cosmetic clinic is very professional and organized. I would specially like to mention nurse Kim. She was super helpful and patient with me throughout the whole process.

I guess it's my turn to "give back" to this amazing group. For over 8 years I was thinking to get BA and honestly it was never the right time for me. It took me few months to do all the research about PS. Finally, I picked 2 doctors and after my consultations, I decided to go with Dr. Edelstein. 

It was the best decision ever!!!! He is kind, patient, and what is most important he listens to his patients. His experience and passion for what he is doing make him one of the best! 

I am 3 weeks post-op and my results are amazing! After surgery, all the nurses were super helpful and nice. I felt like I was getting the best care possible. 

I also have to mention all the ladies working at Edelstein Cosmetic -they are great and always there for you to answer all the questions.

I figured it's my turn to share my experience to "give back" to this incredible community and hopefully help someone with similar goals to mine :) I've been contemplating this procedure on and off for about 10 years. This summer, with WFH looking more like a permanent reality, I took the plunge and started to take my research much more seriously. I consulted with Dr. Edelstein in October and then waited a full 3 months afterwards to book because I wanted to feel completely confident in the decision.

Dr. Edelstein is exactly as described in his mountain of positive reviews: thoughtful, attentive, kind, and informative. He takes extra precautions in his BBA procedures ("bloodless" breast augmentation technique, use of a Keller funnel) that made me feel much safer, and he's also an expert in producing natural-looking results, which is my #1 priority. I explained to Dr. Edelstein that I was mostly looking for an improvement in the shape of my breasts, but that in general staying very active and having breasts that stand the test of time (body weight fluctuations with pregnancy, changing trends, etc) were very important to me. I showed him a few wish pics and told him I'd like to aim for a full C :) He heard me loud and clear and suggested 3 sizes, of which I chose the largest to hopefully mitigate future "boob greed!"

Once I did call to book, I was able to get a surgery date very quickly despite cancellations at Humber River Hospital (I had my procedure at their Forest Hill clinic instead). Today was the day! Dr. Edelstein's staff and the anesthesiologist were all lovely and made me feel completely at ease - though I'll admit I went in oddly calm to begin with?! I think a side effect of having felt like I really did do all the research I could, which I can't recommend enough :) After I woke up, the doctor told me everything went really well, and the nurses said they already looked great, which was super reassuring. I'm home now and feeling pretty fine with the prescribed main meds after having eaten and taken Gravol - just a little dizzy/tired but thankfully no nausea.

I can't really tell what they look like yet, but I'll start sharing "after" photos regularly tomorrow as I know how tough it is to find pics of girls who got low profile plus implants! Let me know if you guys have any more questions :)

My experience with Dr. Edelstein was beyond my expectations, I had all the trust in the world that he would deliver & help achieve great results. With a high level confidence I can easily say that he did a remarkable job! He is extremely knowledgeable and recommends what would proportionately suit each and every individuals body type for the most natural looking results, not to mention, he made me feel unbelievably comfortable from the first moment we met to the last, this definitely took a tremendous amount of stress/nerves off my shoulders.
