"LVI"- What it Means for Patients

by

"LVI”.  It’s more than just another combo of letters in the alphabet soup of dentistry.  So many patients have been helped by LVI that wouldn’t have otherwise—their lives changed, actually!  So, what’s the big deal about these three letters?

“LVI”, short for the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies, is exactly what the name suggests-- a post-graduate dental training facility focused on the best in dentistry.  As dental professionals, doctors and their clinical team must attain continuing education credits for licensing purposes.  Credits could easily be attained closer to home, with less time away from family or the office.  There would also be a lesser investment of time in general and other resources as well.  The thing is, it doesn’t matter—the courses and quality of experience are completely different at LVI, representing the serious commitment that these teams have made to always furthering their education.

Teams complete intensive classroom courses under the instruction of world-renowned dentists, in addition to hands-on courses with patients.  Because of their experience and training, LVI-trained dentists may be able to offer the following services to patients depending on their selected training:
• Full Mouth Reconstruction
• Full-Porcelain Crowns, Inlays, Onlays, and Veneers
• Smile Makeover
• Treatment for Sleep Apnea, Snoring, and/or CPAP Intolerance
• Treatment for Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMD) and TMJ Migraines

The coursework and training at LVI satisfies the Doctors’ quest to never stop learning, and to be able to offer patients the best dental treatments available, with advanced techniques, and the highest quality of materials.  Additionally, with an even further commitment of time and training, select dentists have become part of an elite group of approximately 200 dentists in the world to receive the distinction of LVI Fellow.

Teams trained at LVI utilize extreme precision and care with every procedure that they perform.  They make sure that highly-esthetic cosmetic restorations also serve in terms of function for the patient as well, making sure that they look and feel good.

Working with a highly-trained and educated team makes for providing a consistently-exceptional patient experience.  LVI dentists love what they do, and most importantly what it means for their patients.
