I had lasik on both eyes Fri 1st Feb '19 (it is now Mon). My pre-surgery prescription was +3.25/-0.75x110. On the day of my surgery, after it was done, my vision was great. But the next day my vision was blurry for distance, but good for up close. At my post-op app they said it's normal to be near-sighted for the next few days, it may get worse before it gets better, fluctuate etc. I had severe dry eye so using preserv-free drops every hour past 3 days. When will the haziness/blurriness improve?

Your prescription is well in range for Lasik surgery which is a much safer option. ICL is usually reserved for patients with high prescriptions, issues of dryness or abnormal corneas.

Hi! I’m 18 years old, and I have been wearing glasses since I was 11. I hate it, so I’m planning to get corrective surgery. My left eye is -2.75 and my right eye is -4.25. My doctor said that I can get lasik when I’m 23. I am sorta willing to wait five years for lasik, but today, I came across “Collamer Lenses” which is something doctor puts in your eyes and your vision improves. If my eye doctor approves, I may get them soon. Should I get collamer lenses by next year or lasik 5 years later?

Hello, I am 21 years old, I’ve always had a few vessels in my eyes but right now, there are more of them, almost everywhere. People, even my employer and my parents asked me if I took drugs, of course, the answer is no. I’m conscious of my dry eyes and follow a treatment. But the veins are still in the sclera. Is there a way to get rid of it (forgetting the idea of special eye drops that have a rebound effect. I already take eye drops to hydrate my eyes...).

I had LASIK back in 2012 which was life changing and lasted pretty much until 2018. Since 2018 I've noticed my myopia has regressed to approx a prescription of about -2. I went for a consultation at the same clinic to discuss retreatment and the surgeon was confident that he could restore 20/20 vision whilst keeping the corneal thickness within (what he deemed) safe ranges, using LASEK surgery. I believe one eye was approx 428µm and the other 410µm. Community echo that I am safe candidate?

PRK repeat procedures can be performed if vision changes as a result of the aging process. This would be considered an enhancement and could be performed if testing indicates that you remain a good candidate for laser vision correction.

I had PRK surgery about 20 yrs ago, can I have this done again? Would this be considered an enhancement ?

It is not unusual to experience issues with reading vision after laser vision correction especially if you are over the age of 35. This is when near focusing can begin to become an issue. When a person is near sighted this can often mask the onset of this issue know as Presbyopia. For most individuals who were able to read with distance glasses or contact lenses prior to surgery this should resolve. If it doesn’t there are options now available to correct reading vision including the Kamra Corneal inlay.

Hello, I am 10 weeks post LASIK and my computer reading vision is unfocused and blurry. Is this normal?

It is not usual to have some image ghosting early in the healing period. This can last 2-3 months. If it persists after that period then a wavefront evaluation to detect aberration in your focusing would be indicated. Custom retreatment could then address the issues.

I had in my left eye -3.5 myopia and 2.9 astigmatism and in my right eye -5 myopia and 2.9 astigmatism. My left eye is good no ghosting and good vision, but my right eye have shadow/ghosting as in the attached image, if I put my cell phone close, image is good in my right eye, as soon as I increase the distance of the phone from my right eye, the shadow/ghosting begins. Also in both eye, I have light around bright objects with dark background, do I need a second surgery? did I damaged my eye?

I would highly recommend an ICL procedure combine with femtosecond AK( astigmatic keratotomy) to address the high astigmatism. The astigmatism treatment is performed first. After a period of stabilization the ICL implantation follows. We have many very satisfied clients who elected this approach.&nbsp;

My vision on my right eye is -8.75 Sphere and -4.25 Cylinder; left eye is -9.25 Sphere and -4.00 Cylinder. Is prescription too high to get PRK or ICL? If not, what other options do I have to correct my vision?

Since i have high myopia and astigmatism, am I qualified for PRK or ICL?

If you are of an age, i.e. over the age of 40, you should consider a LASIK enhancement combined with the FDA approved KAMRA corneal inlay which will afford you the opportunity to have excellent reading and intermediate vision as well as superb distance acuity.&nbsp;

Before the surgery I was -3.5 in both eyes. It's been 2 months and I'm still .75/.50. Now my close up and intermediate vision is terrible. Should I risk getting another surgery or just wear contacts and reading glasses? This has been the worst decision of my life.

Epithelial in growth will NOT respond to treatment with murk 128 drops. The flap will need to be lifted and the islands of epithelial cells removed manually.&nbsp;

A year ago on August 12, 2014, I underwent lasik surgery, but suffered a complication known as DLK. For the next two months, my flap was lifted twice for the reoccurring DLK. However epithelial in growth grew underneath my flap and also sever dry eyes included. My vision went from 20/400 to now 20/20 and 20/25 but still is full of glare. I went to another doc and was told that I have a huge amount of epithelial in both eyes and was told to use muro 128 5% to get rid of it. Is it possible to work
