I had a mini TT 6 months ago and was left with a lot of laxity and extra skin. I want to have it repaired, one surgeon is not sure how much improvement I will get from another surgery. Also had a breast lift/aug at the same time that got infected and left me scarred. The left also bottomed out and right contracted up. I have ultra high implants now and would like to stay at least with high profile but will that be possible once all the scarring is removed.
I think I have 2.5cm abdominal gap. it looks flat, but big at night time. when I sit down, it is very loose. When I kneel down, the muscle are felling down if I dont hold abdominal muscle. the skin is loose, but I dont think I have enough skin on uppber to do full tummy tuck. However, if I do mini tummy tuck, the belly button will be loose. BTW i dont like T scar look. Should I do lipo too? Please give me some suggestion? Thanks.
I recently had a tummy tuck along with liposuction to flanks hips and back. I follow a lot of Plastic Surgeons on various social media platforms. I came across this one dr who said that wearing a binder after a tummy tuck is dangerous because since you are disconnecting blood flow, you can get into trouble if you compress it. Therefore he does not require his patients to use them. I have never heard of anyone that got a TT that their dr said not to wear one. Please advise if this is necessary.
I have been noticing these 2 mini pouches of skin on the end m my tummy tucky scar! It has been an year that I went through the surgery and unfortunately I cant afford them to be removed! Are they going disappear if I lose weight? Thank you!
I had a lower body lift done in early may. My surgeon informed me that a lower body lift may not be enough to address my skin issues due to laxity. I have an FDL incision planned in october but i'm wondering if there's another way to go about it? I really don't want the vertical scar.
I had low iron, and a low hemoglobin. I was recently treated with iron infusion, two treatments of Venofer 200mg, and now have an iron saturation of 60, which I understand is high. My hemoglobin levels have risen, which is good, but it appears I have what they call iron overload. Is it safe to proceed with the surgery despite having high iron saturation? This isnt something common for me, I typically deal with low iron and low, hemoglobin due to my menstrual cycle being extremely heavy.
I'm very lean with a just a small amount of excess skin around my stomach, and my concern is that my lower abdominal area appears loose. I do all the vacuums, but there's something about my anatomy that I just can't seem to improve that area. I have no children. Would abdominoplasty be a good option for me?
My surgeon advised me that I didnt need a fdl and a abdominoplasty would be sufficient to remove all my loose skin. I went with what I was advised as surely the surgeon knows best, although now I am left with loads of loose skin still. I explained how unhappy I was and the surgeon said well you should have had a fdl. When I said he advised me I didnt need one he said No its because you didnt want the scar, which is not true. What should I do as I am so unhappy?
