I still have drains and PS told me to wear my binder most of the time. The binder has two seams, which have been leaving marks on my skin. This morning I had a very sore spot above my incision line. Upon inspection I found two small open wounds/abrasions that have been apparently caused by the binder rubbing the skin. Im wondering if that indicates the binder is too tight or if I need to purchase a seamless binder instead?
Is my scar considered a keloid? Its very small dark and slightly raised. I wore a faja that molds your body as soon as I had my baby. The doctor never told me to cover the incision and the faja rubbed against it. I noticed it got infected so doctor suggested to put neosporin. I stopped wearing the tight faja until it healed. I just want to know if its a keloid that way I can reconsider my choice of getting a tummy tuck.
However my garment feels like it is rubbing my skin raw although the skin looks fine (aside from the huge swelling lumps from my surgical procedure. The garment just hurts so MUCH especially when it gets hot out and I swell. Cant tell if its helping or hindering at this point.
I am 8 days post op from a breast reduction/tummy tuck. I have been wearing the garment all the time, except for showers, as instructed by my surgeon. But the garment has rubbed the skin off of my inner thighs.
Hello, I am a healthy, happy, attractive , 32yr plus size woman who loves being plus size just wish I had a flatter stomach. I am currently 314lbs and most of my weight is in my stomach . I am looking to drop maybe 50 to 75pounds but would like to get the apron removed as it is in the way of Like working out. I don't want to have weight loss surgery because as I stated I am very happy being plus size plus. My pannus hangs a little below my private area and rubs against my legs which is annoying.
