Hello can anyone help please? I am almost 7 months post surgery and suffer crippling pain every day that has greatly impacted on daily life. Age 63 healthy female. The pain is to the right of my umbilicus but also directly below it, mid central. Burning in nature, the muscles feel extremely tight within minutes of standing up and the only relief is by laying back down despite physio to try to aid relief. It has been suggested I may have nerve entrapment. Can plication be taken down?
I had a tummy tuck, lipo and fat transfer about 3 years ago. In the crease on my hip and thigh I get a burning/stinging sensation. I had lipo in other areas also but this is the only area that I feel the burning. Is this normal?
I had tummy tuck with muscle repair 2 years ago. My waistline is extremely tight-feels like a very tight wire/rope is attached my belly button and pulled tightly around my entire wait. It is so tight that my right side ( front and back) burns, making it hard to sit and sleep. Feels like I am being cut in half at the waist. Perhaps, related I get extreme muscle spams if I turn too quickly. Shadow where linea nigra used to be now visibly off center. What is going on?
7 years ago I had a full tummy tuck. About 3 months ago I started having a sharp burning pain right above my belly button. It would come and go at all different times. I went to see my Gastro had a ultra sound done, they said everything looked good. The Dr. told me the pain sounds like its scar tissue from my tummy tuck. I never even thought of that. The pain is getting worse, a burning stabbing pain and hurts most to stand up straight. What does this sound like??
Hi, I made a TT 2 days ago. Since I woke up from the surgery I noticed that the outer side of my left thigh was numb, I thought that this was due to the surgery itself and that it would pass.My thight now is not only numb but I got a burning feeling specially when I sit down which goes down to the knee. They told me that a nerve was pinched and it will take time to recover. How long will it take and what can I do to releive the burning feeling? Thanks in advance!
I have recently (4 weeks ago, precisely) had an abminoplasty approach to recurrent ventral hernia and umbilical hernia repair - mesh and trunk lipo the operation has been successful but I have been left with numbness to my right outer thigh and a intense burning pain causing me to limp. My GP says it maybe from swelling and pressure on my L3 disc which is a nerve responsible for that part of the thigh. He says I need a MRI to rule out a possible blood clot. Could I please get a second opinion? Thx, Sally
I had a For tummy tuck and muscle repair. I am nine weeks postop. I was laying in my bed and all of the sudden I felt a very burning sensation left side above my belly button. It feels like one of my muscles is on fire and I cannot move because the pain gets worse. What can calls that ? Should I go to the emergency room
I have recently had an abdominoplasty 5 days ago with muscle repair. My tubes where full of dark red blood from the place of incision then ran yellow with red blood running through it. I have been experiencing a burning sensation in the last 24-48 hours before removal. The pain, while they were removed, was as if I had a laser been running from my hip down to place of incision. Is this burning sensation (before removal and during removal) normal as my Dr told me that this sensation is normal.
