I tied a non-laser tattoo removal tatt2away almost 2 years ago. Its a chemical injected under the skin . did 3 test spots. it scarred. I am so embarrassed. I could have simply live a little longer with my tattoo, it's not a scorned lover , not what I wanted Now I have a botched tattoo removal and I am considering restoring it. The test spots are leathery and slightly raised , Is there something I can do to smooth out and soften the bumps to allow for coverup? Or will laser successfully remove tattoo.
I had my first laser removal treatment done 2 weeks ago on my full sleeve. 2 weeks later (yesterday) some bumps/hives showed up in the treated tattooed area closer to my wrist, and it does itch. I started taking an otc antihistamine (reactine), but I find it odd that the bumps are restricted to only being inside the tattooed area and not anywhere else around the body. Is this something that is consistent with a common allergy or should I view it as some serious skin condition developing?
The scabs fell spontaneously, I didnt pick at them but Im afraid that wearing long sleeved clothes that maybe rubbed on the scabs while putting them on made them fall before they were ready. Now I have small round bumps like pimples, one has even some white pus and Im afraid its not healing well. Also, this thing is only happening on the red part of the tattoo, all the other colours dont have these pimples. Is it normal? Will they heal on their own or are they a sign of scarring?
I'm in the process of getting my tattoo's on my arm removed, one is not reacting nearly as well as the other so I'm just focusing on the one that is going away. Anyway, after 6 sessions now, I noticed my skin has bumps its not a smooth texture. Is this normal? I'm receiving treatment with picosure.
