Foam injected on Shin, Calf, behind knee, inner thigh. I became flushed due to a reaction and was given an IV w Benadryl. It resolved quickly and I went home. post 12 weeks and now the veins are itchy, tender, skin is red and areas feel inflamed. Can the foam have been trapped in the veins and now that the veins are breaking down the foam is released into my leg causing a reaction? I can't find anything about a reaction like this online. I hope you can help.
I had laser treatment for very small, superficial spider veins on my thighs and the inside of my left knee. It's been 3 weeks and they have not been reabsorbed yet. They also look worse, darker, but no redness around them. They are not infected. Is this normal? I am not overweight and I did not lift any heavy weight or run (I do hike and dance) after the procedure 3 weeks ago. I was told I didn't need to wear compression stockings, so I did not. Thank you.
Hello! I am a 23 year old female who works a mostly standing seasonal job and I started noticing really visible veins on my thighs and the back of my knees where they even bulge out sometime and cause a burning sensation. I consulted my personal doctor and she told me to take some medication (detralex). The veins are making me lose my confidence as I am a person who loves wearing dresses but now I don't feel comfortable wearing them anymore...are there any effective solutions to get rid of them?
I had sclerotherapy exactly 2 weeks ago on a small varicose vein behind my knee. I followed doctors orders exactly afterward, but my vein is still dark and when I touch it, it's bumpy in parts. My doctor said it would only take one treatment. Will it improve? Is this the end result? When will I see final results? Why is it still dark and bumpy?
When I turned 16 I started to notice these changes in my legs. Before I have never had this problem. I am really worried about this since I am still so young to be showing sighs of varicose veins etc Is it normal to have such visible veins or does it point to something else. If so do you think that at my age I should be going for a sclerotherapy treatment to stop the veins from getting worse?
I'm only 22 but I noticed a few veins on the back of my knees and wanted to get them taken care of with sclerotherapy. I think the nurse might have missed one of the larger ones on purpose and was a [RS bleep] to me afterwards because I didn't want to schedule another treatment right away. When should I be able to see results and see if she actually injected all the veins? I have to wear compression thigh high socks 30/40 for three weeks.
Underwent sclerotherapy about 24 hours ago and only got to remove the bandages today. Was VERY surprised to find this discoloration. All my other injection spots didn't even bruise. Please help!
