I woke up this morning with a dry and congested feeling in my nose, I figured I'd gently try to remove the mucus when it is hard as I use certain products my doctor recommended to keep it moist inside my nose and it is impossible to get rid of them using irrigation; they just won't come out that way. I got out a few pieces without any pain or discomfort along with some hair. I do have dissolvable stitches from what doctor told me and I don't think I got anything out that looked like one.
I had ear cartilage grafting done about 4 weeks ago to lower my alar rims, and doctor used internal dissolvable stitches. Just want to know if by 4 weeks it's okay to tweeze hairs, or should I wait just so I don't accidentally pull on any stitches still left over?
Primary rhinoplasty done in the past & recently noticed the cartridge walls popping out on both sides of the nasal wall, very prominent on one side more than the other. Head must be tilted upward for a clear view. What is this? Is it common after a primary rhinoplasty? Is it caused from occasional tweezing nose hairs, could the sutures have been pulled apart, I started plucking 1-2 years after rhinoplasty and its occasional just visible hairs. How is this fixed? Price range, possibly in NY?
Dear Doctors I was trying to remove dead skin around my nose using tweezers internally and externally. However I accidently pinched the skin of nose with the tweezers, it did hurt for a second , and seems a little bit swollen. My question is did I permanently damage my nose and is this swelling permanent? Your sincerely
i soaked some tweezers i had in 50% rubbing alcohol and used the tweezers to pick out some dried mucus in my nose. i did this about 3 times and i am about on my 3rd week after rhinoplasty. is this a bad thing to be doing?
there was some bleeding and now there is a bruise and a small depression (dent) on the outside around area of lateral nasal cartilage. will this heal or is it a permanent injury? thanks
