Hello, I have done rhinoplasty with rib cartilage grafting 8 months ago, the doctor removed the cartilage from the 5th rib partially. And now, after 8 months, I still can't sleep on my right side and I have pain during activity, and by contracting the right pectoral muscle, I get neuralgia and stiffness of the trapezius on the same side. What do you think is the problem?
I have done a rib rhinoplasty and at the moment I can not live as a normal sport man. I want to fix myself. Is it possible to transplant rib cartilage to mine? Please help me if you have any information. Thank you in advance.
I had rhinoplasty in Korea 7 years ago to raise my bridge using silicone and nose tip projection using cadaver rib cartilage + own ear cartilage graft. I've been noticing a significant reduction in the projection of my nose tip around 4 years post op. While I miss my old profile view, I'm still overall happy with the results. My nose has been healthy throughout without complications, I'm wondering if my tip has been stabilized, I would be concerned if my tip contracts further.
I did my silicon/rib rhinoplasty in nov 2022 in korea and im very happy with the results. But i recently noticed that my septum is swollen. ive seen ent on 22 september and put on a 14 day antibiotics and topical omniment but its not getting better. i can feel pain when i touch the tip and part of my bridge. is my rhinoplasty infected?
Dear doctors, I would like your advice. I am 35 years old and in 3 months time I am going to undergo a closed rhinoplasty with rib cartilage. I was planning to have children at the end of this year, beginning of next year. Would you advise me against continuing with my rhinoplasty? How long should I wait after my rhinoplasty to get pregnant? Thanks in advance!
Ive read that pregnancy causes the nose to swell. How long should I wait after my revision rhinoplasty (using rib graft) to begin trying to become pregnant? Or is there no need to worry as it wont affect the results. Thank you
I am having a primary septorhinoplasty in a few months to correct a deviation of the bony and cartilaginous pyramid and the nasal septum. My surgeon has told me that I have a very fine skin particularly over the bridge. He also told me that he may need to use rib cartilage. I am worried about the final result having a fine skin. Any advice on this? Thanks
Hello, I was reading about the use of rib cartilage for augumentation and had a few questions. Does it wrap overtime? Is the wrapping based on which section of the rib is used? Also, is there a way to increase volume in the supratip area so the flow between the bridge and tip is more smooth without adding a graft to the entire bridge? I hope that makes sense, thanks
