Had a rhinoplasty to remove hump 2017. Was happy with normal nose until 2021 where it changed shape with pronounced wings or lumps of the sides which cause a shadow halfway across nose. Why did this happen? No injuries or anything to the nose and too long after procedure to be related to swelling or healing
Im around 4 months post op. 25 days ago the inside/top of my nose started bleeding and it hasnt stopped since. Its not heavy bleeding but it is constant, so every few hours when I go to the mirror there is a ball of blood, sometimes mixed with mucus. Then a few days ago I noticed a painless lump. My surgeon is In Turkey. I asked what it could be and they said its normal and not to worry. Can I have a second opinion please? Sorry for the gross pictures
4 weeks since my open rhinoplasty and the scar is very visible from every angles. had it in Slovakia and it is hard to go for follow up. worry the surgeon is not competent as we had a 2 mins consultation (first time) before operation. Nothing change (wanted smaller size, width (alar), tips down, etc) like a pig (nose tips got shorter after surgery). nose was smaller and pointer before. Am I eligible to ask for revision surgery How long should I wait before complaint. What can be done to improve?
I started noticing a small lump on my nose after 3-4 months post rhinoplasty. Now, after 2 years and seeing if the lump has for certain healed and all swelling has gone down its still there. What can this possibly be and what could have went wrong in my rhinoplasty? I went back to my surgeon and he said he will not operate on me as its not noticeable. Offered me a discount on botox. However the lump is uncomfortable and painful.
Hi, I have a lump growing on the left hand side of my nose. This lump has been growing over a few years now and i'm unsure what it could be. Looking at getting it removed by a plastic surgeon. Will i require full rhinoplasty? It doesn't appear on the right side. of the nose.
Im not sure what the lump is caused by but it comes and goes and I just want it to stay gone. Some days its more swollen than others, Im already a year and a half post op and I have had a couple steriod injections which have seemed to help a little. Any ideas of what this is? I will add a photo where the lump is there and then another when its not.
I had open rhino 15mago. 6 weeks later i saw a hard lump on the left/front of my bridge. Now the swelling has reduced the lump is very obvious, in some lights you can clearly see the shape of the lump under my skin. At my year review my surgeon seemed unconcerned & didn't seem to be able to say what it was or what had caused it. His only possible suggestion was another open procedure however its likely i'll have to pay the full fee again. Might it resolve on it's own?
I had a nose job last year around September but have this lump inside of my nose with a white head, I get very stuffy still and I have had this lump since the start. My doctor advised it may just be swelling but not sure if it is in all honesty as he didnt check it
I had a septorhinoplasty and turbinate reduction in November 2020. Recovery was without issue. The septoplasty and turbinate reduction have been great. The rhinoplasty has some issues. Made an appointment recently 1 year after the procedure. Pointed out areas with issues. Dr provided a Kenalog injection for lump marked 1. What are my options to deal with the areas of persistent swelling or scar tissue, especially the tip? Would kenalog injections fix this? Would it help to narrow areas 3&4?
I have a bump/lump on the side of my nose, that an ENT doctor said is most likely a cartilage deformation. How common is this?I had noticed the lump on the right side of my nose last year, and so far doesnt appear to be growing. However, it tends to itch and burn horribly. I tried squeezing it thinking it was acne, but it is not nor has it ever been inflamed. My question is, if it is a cartilage overgrowth, couldnt it just be shaved off?
