When I laugh I look unattractive because my nose gets scrunched and it looks like a fictional witch instead of cute. I see so many people have cute nose scrunch or at least it doesnt look bad. I dont know if its partially my nose & I would get a nose job in general. Is there something I can do that is preferably more permanent to address this issue?
I am now 16 days post op, and in 2 days I am going to see a comedy show, where I expect to laugh a lot - would that affect anything? Am I allowed to laugh hard after less than 3 weeks after rhinoplasty?
I got rhinoplasty 6 days ago. Today I has my splint taken off any my sutures removed. I was told not to laugh for two days, but I laughed very hard inadvertently. My central nostril looks droopy. Am I okay or do I need some help?
My family are nothing but clowns. Since they are visiting to take care of me we are trying to bond as much as we can. However, I feel the excessive laughing to the point of tears could be detrimental to my nose. I am now 4 days post up and I have probably laughed every single day since surgery. My nose feels fine I am just worried it could ruin my septum cartilages tip that was completely reconstructed from nothing. It doesnt hurt though.
My nose looks small from the side both when I laugh and when my face is neutral, but from 3/4th perspective it looks normal when my face is neutral but bigger than wanted when I laugh. Why is this, and can I adress this with fillers or anything less invasive then full-on revision rhinoplasty?
I am currently 3 weeks post op and have come down with a cold. It has caused me to cough A LOT and even though I try to suppress it as much as possible, sometimes I just have violent coughs. My nose never hurts post cough attack and only feels mildly stretched/agitated while coughing. I also laugh a lot as well, and sometimes I laugh so much that I really feel my nose stretching which leads me to beg the question: Can coughing or laughing cause any damage or negative alterations to a nosejob?
I had my nose job 8 days ago, and yesterday I took my cast off. But I have this weird sensation in my nose, like having local anesthesia there, feels like I had nerve problems there. I am kind of afraid of any nerve damage! , when I move my face to laugh, smile, Whistle etc.. it feels awkward. Please tell me what is happening and If it's something wrong.
I had a septorhinoplasty 9 days ago since then I have lifted some heavy items like a hover for housework stuff and bags, I then have accidentally when sleeping hit it and woke up leaning on my side, and every time a yawn I can't yawn through my mouth my nose has clenched in together when this happens and I can't control it. I have laughed and when I do this I snort. I also have tingling in the nose and my cast feels slack have I ruined this procedure.
I'm 6 weeks post op from an open septorhinoplasty. When I smile or yawn it feels like something is ripping/pulling inside my right nostril. I thought this would be gone by now (I don't recall it during my original rhinoplasty). It's quite painful and I'm worried I'm ruining something in my nose. Is this normal at this stage post op?
