I stuck a pinky finger in my nose earlier. My right nostral was fine but. I could only get up to my nail in my left nostril. I hit a bone Id say its about a half inch from the opening of the nostril. And I never broke my nose ever
I had rhinoplasty a year ago and one side wall of the nose (my right but looks left on the photo) you can see the bone raised and it casts a shadow. I can feel the bone and it sticks out width wise towards my check. It sticks out past the tip width of my nose. Is there anything that can be done to correct this? I also cant breathe now out of the right hand nostril and I had no problem before the op. I had a dorsal hump removed.
I have deep-set eyes, pronounced forehead bones, a high bridge of the nose. I don't like all this because it makes the face sharp and masculine (?). would it be possible to reduce the bones of the forehead and eyebrows, reduce the bridge of the nose, make it flatter, like Asians? I would like more smooth, small and feminine facial features. (I dont have photos, but draw something similar) Im female
Hello, I hit my nose years ago and since then is my nose hump more prominent, i recently tried to push it back with my hands and the area got red, now I see the hump is even more rounder and bigger, it has been a month since incident and the area still looks the same, could i have deformed the cartilage or cause some bone growth? How is it possible that by applying pressure to my nose is now bigger in size?
Is a rhinoplasty the correct procedure to create more balance and symmetry to my nose? My concern is the bone thats sticking out of the bridge of my nose. It may seem minor, but it bothers me and I do not like the right side of my face (profile) because of it. I feel that my nose looks crooked because on that side. Otherwise, I am mostly content with how my nose looks - I think its the right size for my face. Would the bone need to be shaved down in order to achieve more symmetry? Thank you!
Hello! I had a closed rhinoplasty 6 months ago in turkey. I have been patiently waiting for the full results. But im still unsure of the results ive got so far. My nose still looks the same, its still wide. When i press my nose on the sides i can feel that theres still a bone there. When i asked my surgeon he said it was stubborn swelling that just spread to the sides and the bone that i feel when i touch my nose is just swelling. Is it really swelling? Will my nose look more defined?
I had rhinoplasty in feb 2022 and I was happy with the results when I took my cast off. (Attached photos). I have a bump on the left side of my bridge that feels like bone, which wasnt there before or maybe it was it was hidden under swelling ? It makes my nose bridge crooked and its not straight from the front view. I really dont want revision surgery but Im so unhappy with my nose. Is this swelling or did it heal wrong ? My surgeon said I could have a revision in feb 2023.
a doctor told me that he can use ramus bone from the jaw because the bone is not needed and that he can take a piece of the bone and augment my dorsum....has anybody ever heard of this? and are bone grafts from the jaw to the nose hoe good do they hold up in the long term 10-20 years from now?
I had rhinoplasty performed 3 years ago. Recently it seems like there's a protruding piece of cartilage/bone on my nose bridge. Ever since surgery my nose bridge was very ridged and uneven but it wasn't visible. Now there's also some discolouration (very white skin) where the bump is protruding. I am worried it might get worse since I currently have to wear tight-fitting ffp2 masks every day, which seems to be the cause of it. What can I do?The skin seems very thin around that area.
