Can somebody please help me. Ive had a revision rhinoplasty about 2 1/2 years ago. Ever since then my nose has been hurting, growing swelling, bruising, and severely painful ever since. I have been on strong pain medication for about 2 1/half months now and I dont think I can take them daily for the rest of my life. Can somebody please tell me what my options are? Im at the point where I just want my nose cut off completely. I believe my nose needs to be drained and scraped
Hi, I had a septorhinoplasty 2 years ago and I am going for a revision now (the doctor will use ear cartilage to build my nose and to make it look straighter).I have some guestions about that : 1)Can ear cartilage warp? How will that affect the nose (will the nose become more crooked) ?? 2)Can ear cartilage become visible under the skin? 3)Can it extrude? 4)And what to do in these cases? Can I undergo another revision to remove the ear cartilage from my nose ??
I am trying to understand why my nose looks like this after 2 rhinoplastys from the same surgeon. Is this an open roof deformity or an inverted V deformity? I My surgeon claims it is scar tissue and selling and will not help more. I feel botched and dont know how to fix this. Would he give me my money back if it is a deformity? its been 3 years since my original and 2 years since my revision
I have been really happy with my nose following rhinoplasty April 2021, it had appeared straight and looked good in photos from all angles, however, within recent months an indentation has began to show which causes shadowing and makes my nose appear crocked especially in flash photos or in dark lighting. I have an review ap booked with my surgeon however I am wondering what could have caused this, what can be done and if this will get worse. I had a steroid inj on the opposite side 9 months ago
I had surgery 2 years ago. My nose was straight after surgery but over time has progressively curved. My pre surgery nose was also curved in this same way so Im not sure what happened. Is it really obvious? Can it be corrected in a revision?
In January 2019 I had a rhinoplasty and septoplasty combined. After my initial rhinoplasty, I had a closed revision to attempt to straighten the nose (noticed no change) and refine the tip (worked). In November of last year I woke up one day and my nose looked severely broken, the nose seemed to slide strongly to the right. I am two years post-revision and I am trying to understand what happened. Nose feels a little sore sometimes, like after the surgery.
I had primary and revisionrhinoplasty, with the last surgery taking place over two years ago. My tip, i find is uneven / crooked. the alar retraction makes the appearance look asymmetrical. I really dont want to undergo another procedure, especially under general anaesthesia. What are my options to correct this? My surgeon is saying leave it to avoid further disappointment. But this is causing significant distress in my day to day life.
I had a rhinoplasty 2 years ago to remove a hump and reduce my tip. 1 1/2 years into the healing process I developed what seem to be scar tissue(?) around my bridge, which didn't bother me too much as it wasn't too noticeable. A few days ago my nose swelled and become red/slight painful around that area. The redness has subsided but now there seems to be a bump formed on the right side of my bridge. I have thick skin and am pretty prone to swelling. What could be the cause and how can I fix this
