Day 4 PO. PO pics finally added

Hi TT community! Like many I have been a stalker...

Hi TT community! Like many I have been a stalker of this website ever since I scheduled my surgery. I have wanted a TT since I was in high school. For as long as I can remember I have had a gut. My mom use to tell me that God made us ass backwards!

About me, I am 37, weigh 147 and am 5'4.5. I have one son who just turned 2 last Saturday :) The anxiety from the anticipation of the surgery is terrible! I have to be there at 9:45 and my surgery is at noon. I really wish I could of had an early morning surgery but I had to take what they had. Other than the anxiety it is going to be so hard to have anything to drink for that long! I love my juice and ice water in the morning!! Just want to say thank you to all the women on here for all your posts and experiences, they are soooooo helpful!!!!!! So excited to be flat for the first time in my life!!!

Well its day 2, very uncomfortable. I was really hoping to not have to take the pain meds but soon found out if i dont stick to a 4 hour schedule the pain is too intense. I still only get up just to go to the bathroom, otherwise im in the recliner. Getting up and walking around just for the sake of walking doesnt feel good and tires me out. Is that normal? I have not seen my belly yet. Will see it tonight as I am suppose to take it off and clean the belly button incision. My PS said no shower for 10-12 days! :( I feel so gross already and its only been 2 days. Gonna rest now. Happy healing to all!

Hi girls! Day 3 not much change. Still very sore...

Hi girls! Day 3 not much change. Still very sore and needing the pain pills about every 5 hours. TMI alert, the worst thing right now is the gas pain and bloating!! And i cant get it out! Been taking stool softeners and gasx but no relief yet. Will b trying MOM later to c if that will give me relief. I think I'm just nervous about popping something from trying to bear down. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Take care all :)

Day 4 and doing pretty well. Only needed the pain...

Day 4 and doing pretty well. Only needed the pain meds the first 2 days after surgery. The last 2 days I only used them at night to sleep. Finally took the binder off today so I could get a good look and take pictures. I know its early and this is a long process so I am hoping that some of the things that I am seeing right now and do not like will change over the next couple weeks to months. I guess I need to stop comparing to everyone else. I see so many that have really good after pictures 1-2 days post-op so I guess I was expecting to see that for me also. Can I really be getting this critical on myself already? I should be happy that I dont have the before belly anymore! Please tell me I am not the only one who has critized their body this soon after surgery!?!? Happy healing girls!

Hi CJ's mommy, wow I was glad to read your post this morning. My surgery was Monday and I could have written everything that you did. I've been managing my pain but can't go more than 5 hours without the pills. Last night I slept 12-6a in my recliner with no pills and when I got up to pee this morning I was shaking from the pain. Literally shivering from it :-( And I don't have that many pills left!! My post op appt is this morning and ill be begging for more pills. I'm also taking 4 stool softener pills a day and so far all I have is gas pain, that rumbles around and I can't even push it out! Best of luck to you, I'll follow your story. I have a review up also.
