I LOVE your results! I'm only 18 years old but I already have a lot of varices on my legs which makes me very unconfident about myself! I am from Germany and don't know if we have the same treatment her like the one that you've got, but I really really hope for it! Did I understand it right, that you've got an injection into your veins, therewith they close? Thank you for sharing your experience and taking all the foots, you were a great help for me!

Thx, first you have to get a ultrasound to make sure tht they r healthy. Mine were healthy the last time tht i had the ultrasound done i had to pay out of pocket for my treaments because the said it was cosmetic. The sclerotherapy $400 for each session when i went to doc in King Of Prussia. Then i went to Dr Shapira in Wilmington and he charged me about $1200 for 3 sessions of microphlebectomy but my veins were bulging out and green and blue but they weren,t painful. I see another vein showing on the back and on the side of my leg so i went to see another doc so he gave me a prescription for an ultrasound, i have my appt on june 23. He wants to make sure that there is no deeper problem before he treat them. I,d rather he remove the vein instead of injecting bec with dark skin i will have that dark pigmentation that takes abt a yr to go away. With remving the vein there,s no pigmentation but it kind of leaves a tiny scar. Im very glad that i got it done because i can confidently show my legs. I will probably wait until next yr to get the vein treatments bcause my wallet is looking pretty thin right now. I hope my answer helped!

Healing from Schlerothepy and Microphlebectomy

ontheflatside
When I first receive the treatments schlerotherapy is it little needles going in to vein, which feel like a little burning and stinging. I ususally took two days off to heal but I only really hurts during the procedure and right after. The pain didn't last very long. Sometimes I had swelling and bruising which lasted only for a few days. The only part I didn't like was the brown stains it leaves on your legs but they are healing. The procedure was on in 7/2013, 11/2013, and 12/2013. I would totally recommend this procedure for small spider veins. The microphlebectomy is a procedure I had to get numb for and little swelling and bruising is involved but do not last very long. The hardest part of getting numb for the procedure. During the procedure, the doc have to put little incisions in your legs to pull the vein out per inch. The only thing I felt was the pressure of pulling the vein out which did not hurt at all bc of the numbness. I had to get a couple of revisions bc after the vein healed I still saw veins at the sight after the procedure was done one week later. I recommend getting this procedure too. The only time the vein sight was sore is after he did revisions on them I think working on the same site is what made me sore. It stay a little sore for a three weeks but it's very very little soreness to the touch. Posted before and after pics. Don't know why they came out looking crystalized or funny looking. Hope they still can be seen.

I had to get them pulled out bc the injections were making them dark. The first two drs did injections and they turned brown but the last dr pulled them out bc he said tht they were big enough to pull out. It takes along time for the brown color to go away, its been a yr and i van still c the brown stain but very barely.

I recommend microphlebectomy if ur veins are large but injections if ur veins are small. U should see a dr to c what he says. I hope this helped!

Tht will be nice to see ur review. Before i got my veins removed, i never wore shorts or summer dresses only long skirts or long dresses but this pass summer i wore shorts, skirts, and short summer dresses and i felt very good abt tht. I mite have to get anothr treatment bc i see veins popping up again in different places, they are not bad but i want to keep it under control. Wen veins r removed, sometimes they come back somewhere else on ur legs. But i think tht i can go anothr year without getting thm done because i dont think someone else can see thm just me. Take care!

yes me too, I never wear anything of that... horrible! Did you also hear about the laser treatment? I've heard that this it another gently possibility to get rid of them but there aren't a lot of reviews in the internet yet, so sad!
March 17, 2015
I didnt want to fo laser trment bc it was easier gettin mine removed, i think laser takes more thn one treatment to work. For the other veins i will ask dr abt tht. Thnks

Ur welcome. Well I have new veins popping up but not in the places where I got the veins removed. They r small but I know that eventually I'm going to need another treatment but I will wait until they really show because rite now u really can't c them. Thanks for responding and when I get another treatment I will post.
