I wanted to load the photos from my phone and then type the rest on my computer... so I have to add that info here. Anyways, more than a year post-op and I feel great! My tummy is flat and I'm getting used to having boobs... gradually! Part of me wishes I had gone a touch smaller as I feel so conspicuous, in spite of the fact that they are the perfect size for me... maybe just a bit too perfect to be natural! I think I should have gone with my gut and gone with something a wee bit smaller. My tummy is relaxing and feeling pretty normal... still have no feeling in the area around my belly button, but I'm getting used to that. My skin still has terrible stretch marks, but that couldn't be helped and I'm glad Dr. Grey didn't go any tighter. My scar is still pretty visible... but continues to fade. Some sections are white. One downside of having had the incision hip to hip is the slight line/lump there... The skin above the incision has more fat on it than below... so when I gain a couple pounds (or am puffy from my period), the ridge is a bit more visible :/ My belly button isn't perfect, but if you don't examine it too closely and critically (who examines belly buttons closely anyways!?! haha) it looks pretty good, I think. Anyways, just wanted to give people the true "after"... :) :) :)
