VI Peel, Great Outcome - Florida

Bought the VI Peel thru living social. Was nervous about getting a peel as my skin is very fragil and usually reacts badly to any harsh treatments.

Day 1, very little burning when applied.
slightly pink but fine, went about my day as normal.
Kept peel on till bedtime appx 12 hrs.
Washed off with mild cleanser, dried and then applied the 1st wipe --- slight burning.
so far have not used any other product.
Went to bed and WOW; crazy itching for about two hours. Put some hydro cream on and helped but be prepared for itching.

Day two, a little more pink and still a little itchy but tolerable, now using the hydro cream regularly.
night, washed and applied 2nd wipe. not as bad a reaction. went to sleep and no problem.

Day three: skin turning a little more brown an tight but comfortable. noticed some slight cracks around mouth and chin.

Day four: starting peeling alot around mouth and nose. Very comfortable and no problems.

Day five: peeling like crazy nose, cheeks forehead, just starting on the neck thank God.
Neck had been itchy.

Day six, WOW, my skin looks incredible.

Highly recommend.

Hi I am interested about this peel because i am doing derma sweep in Dec. I have sun damage and hyperpigmentation due to birth control for 20 years. I am now 43 and want to take this brown crap off my face because i am self-conscious with no make-up at beach and it makes me look older and i feel like my face is dirty. I am glad you liked your final result. I am dark skinned so i am afraid that my cheeks will turn black.,i have heard of this happening,if sunlight hits the treated area. Any thoughts? I will ask dermo doing it but personal experiences are very insighful Thank You BB

I love this peel, there are three strengths. Check out their website. I have found the basic peel for appx 200 at some locations.

Did you need the peel for wrinkles?

Wrinkles and just plain clearing up spots, dry flake invests, etc. Skin will look and feel amazing afterwards. Gotta do it minimum once a year, better twice though

Where were the wrinkles on your face if you don't mind me asking? Chin, upper lip, etc? Is this the strongest peel next to a phenol? thank you.

Just peels the outer layers. Gives you a fresh dewy look. It takes a couple of peels to see long term changes.

HI anon,

I love your day count down, I wish everyone did that. You mentioned you used a "hydro cream" is that something the doctor recommended, and what kind was it? The community often asks about what to put on when healing with a peel.

Thanks,

-Britt

Just had my 5th vi peel. Totally love them. Hydro cream is just plain hydrocortisone cream from the drugstore. :-)

Sorry, never saw this till now. The hydrocortisone cream comes in the kit. Since the I've had 4 more peels. Love them! Have learned to take Benadryl before doing the 1st wipe.
