Worth It
Spent: $3,000 in St. Petersburg, FL

I would suggest to anyone considering skin resurfacing to use the co2. my plastic surgeon said it is one of the oldest lasers on the market, but that he has the best results, with no skin discoloration. My face looked better right away and kept getting better for about 6 weeks. He is right. Had it done twice in the past 12 years. but not doing my whole face either time. I have olive skin and everyone comments on how beautiful my skin is. It did not totally remove lines under my bottom lip, so I am having restylane done.

Anyone who tells you laser is easy, is not totally telling the truth. My face was bandaged for three days, looked like a mummy, was very uncomfortable, which I expected, then you have to wait for the scabs to come off. The process takes about two weeks. You can start using concealer as soon as the scabs come off. I am sure everyone varies in healing time, but it is definitely worth it.

Make sure you find an excellent doctor, ask around, get as many references as possible. If you have a doctor in mind, find out as much as you can about him or her. Had upper and lower bleph done by the same doctor, and it was perfect.

Who was the doctor that did this for you?

I live in Tampa, Florida and have been considering this procedure. After reading comments I am not so sure anymore. Could you provide the name of the doctor who did this so I can avoid him? I realize everyone has a different experience, but before I do ANYTHING, I plan to get plenty of recommendations - either for the Lifetime Lift or the traditional plastic surgery. Your input would be most helpful. I'm sorry that you have gone through this but I am grateful that you have taken the time and the initiative to be vocal and help others. Thank you.
