Much Much Better but Not Bikini Wearable - Upstate, NY

still displeased with tummy tuck 3 yrs later my stomach is still huge

I am 10 lbs heavier than my last updated picture. I am very round still after having a tummy tuck. I asked my doctor about it and he just pointed to my before. I know it's better than before but certainly not flat like he told me it would be. I can't even hide my belly behind clothing I look five months pregnant after a tummy tuck and it's been 3 years. I went with a very highly reviewed doctor with good results on everyone else. I have this weird ledge that was never there before having kids. Will my stomach will never be like it was before having kids even after a tummy tuck. I am 5 '6 at 160 lbs. After tummy tuck I was 153 lbs so I have gained a few lbs.

Post these pics on the "ask a dr" section. To me it looks like your abdominal muscles weren't done/has come undone?
It looks like you didn't get muscle repair with your tuck or you did and the stitching came undone.
Either he didnt do muscle repair or the stitches has come ondone or you might have a hernia

My surgeon had great pics and I even saw someone like my before pics (on real self) that had a terrific flat stomach. PS hasn't really commented to much on if there is a problem or what it is , but I feel like I am not very flat compared to everyone elses pictures. I am seeing him today but don't want to complain too much as it's only been 2 weeks today. Don't you think it looks pretty big still?

if you had muscle.repair done, then yea, I'd ask. I'm guessing though that the difference could be the hernia repair. probably additional swelling that will make time. my abdomen is hard in places from swelling and lumpy in places from the muscle repair "healing ridge". also.wanted to mention you should post an after pic on your q&a question. good luck and let us know what your ps says!

that's strange! maybe you can merge them on your computer in paint or another picture app and then upload them as one? that's what i did with mine..
hi, i think u should b a lil flatter due to the repairs that were done...maybe as flat as the pic with u sucking ur tummy in and that would be with u swollen..ur the customer..i would def inquire w/the dr about it..u dont look bad but i agree w/ur opin on ur tummy being a bit more flat...good luck

It just looks like swelling to me. If its still that way after six weeks I would inquire about a revision.

Hi all...I'm new here. I am definitely please as this is way better, but can't help but feel a little disappointed. My tummy is still pretty round even with sucking in . I posted the horrible before belly, day 4 po, day 10 post op ones of me sucking in and not sucking in. I definitely don't seem bikini bound...I know it can be swelling but it seems most of the girls with po pics seem much flatter and not round like me even with the swelling. I am on the thin side and I feel like I've seen bigger women with much better results than mine. What do you think? What is the deal with the hard tummy too and some spots seem bumpy when you push on your tummy (not visually speaking). I am wondering if I have some abdominal fat still. Just curious what you all think of my results. Thanks for your honest opinions.

Look pretty swollen to me, guess that lasts upwards 6 wks
a couple years later...it's not better ...never went down. i look prego still
