I have met Dr Smaili and actually came across him by accident in my search.. But found out a few months ago that he performed the tummy tuck on my sister in law who could not stop bragging about the dr, so I believe its fate that I choose him to help me. At the early age of 20 I had a horrble thing happen to me that ended up in a total hysterectomy and a huge scar from hip to hip it change my life all around I was also left with a huge scar that I felt embarrased about and a fold of skin over it sure over the years it grew larger actually 240 pounds was my largest now Im at 212 with 2 herniated discs and would love some relief from back pain and a new lease on life... so Im opting for an extensive tummy tuck panniculectomy .. I believe that I will love the new me... what do you think

Yes the whole journey has been worth it results are amazing.. For me I have to be honest the surgery itself was very hard on me physically I did it to relieve my back pain but having to walk sleep sitting bent at the waist put such a demand on my back and a burning that left me crying every night .. but nothing a pain pill a good back massage wouldnt help. it was difficult is all I will be so happy when I can stand tall again .

I'm glad your procedure went well, thanks for the update. I hope you get back to feeling well again soon. The period of healing/recovery can be harder than having the procedure itself. Please do keep us updated with how you progress. Would love to see an after pic, once you're feeling up to it!

I never realize that the surgery itself could cause so much pain? I'm looking to have the same type of surgery done after I lose about 40 more pounds. Like you, I have this ugly scar left from two c-sections, appendectomy and later hysterectomy. Hope you've recovered or are recovering and that you feel well again. -Ella

Thank you so much Ella it has been 2 weeks and today was my first day up and out, I actually went to the store for 3 items which is on the next block even thought I still walk slow Im getting stronger every day, one of the checkers asked me if it was worth it and would I make the choice to do it again , and I said yes, yes yes, when i remove the binder and that skin is gone, I just am estatic once the swelling subsides I will be free to start my whole new life and get back into the gym this is a second chance for me and I pray it will be the same for you also.. Im soooo grateful to Dr Smaili and the panniculectomy surgery I am doing well now 6 mos post op see the Dr at the end of the month and he is going to smile at his results I know it I smile everyday when I see myself.. good luck to all of you thinking of doing this... Do it

Just look at the before and after and tell me thats not worth it... Im so happy cant wait to start working on the tummy sit ups and all right now Im giving my body a year to mend layer of layers of skin and just being real good to my body watching what I eat and doing alot of daily walking
