WORTH IT
Hi all. Just a quick update and some pictures. My scars are really fading, they weren't a concern of mine anyway but I am pleased with them. I haven't used anything on the scars at all. I have put a stone on since my operation, which I am really disappointed with as it has increased my boob size but hopefully I will work that off. Without my bra my boobs are still pert, before they used to be touching my belly!!

Wow! Really great results, and the scars are barely visible!!!! That IS a plus!!! You don't look to have gained weight!
You look fabulous! Thanks for the update,
Yours have healed really well!! At first they do look like the bills have been put on a bit low as you mentioned but after the healing they look great!! How are they now? Xx

Hi girls. So haven't been on here for a while!! Had a busy Xmas and new year. Lots of parties and drinking!! My boobs have healed brilliantly. I had No problems other than a little scab on my right boob. It has left a darker scar. Just been to Tenerife in the sunshine, loved wearing my tiny bikini! Didn't care about the scars. I had the operation because I was unhappy with my size and pain I was in, the scars are the last worry to be honest. I'm proud of the scars!!! I am currently a 34 e as I put half a stone on over the Xmas period!! Just started back to my boogie bounce classes which was quite difficult, as continuous bouncing on a trampoline for an hour kinda hurt my boobs, and the next day....Jesus they hurt, I'd used muscles that had been sliced through I suppose so it was to be expected!! Here's to losing a stone now, then maintaining that weight!! Love my boobs, shape a still a little pointy, but its only been under 3 months.

So, 4weeks 2 days post op. had I tiny spilt in wound on my left side. It's sore, but ok. Just keep finding blood on my bra. I've put sudocream on it and its healing nicely. I'm doing everything I did before my op apart from holding my 2 year old front on, she sits on my hip if I pick her up!! Now I need to start my diet and exercise to lose the belly fat !! Not as tired anymore, birthday on Sunday so hoping to go bra shopping!!!! New pictures added.

Thanks, I am, just need to lose the belly now and I'll be walking round naked!!!!!!
Hi! You seem to be doing really well. I am in the UK and am pushing for an NHS BR as I suffer with backache and shoulder pains. I am a 34G sometimes an H (depending where I shop) and am a size 10, my GP sent me to a physio to help with the pain and said she didn't believe that I needed a BR and that someday I would be grateful for them... Physio on the other hand was much more understanding and says he will make his recommendations. Did they state you needed a BMI under 25? Mine is over 25 by a few decimals.. also did they PS say a D cup was the smallest you could go. Ideally I would like to be a C as I think a D would still be too large for my frame? Apologies for all of the questions, I just haven't come across maybe ladies that are on this site and going via the NHS route.. Thank you!
Wow i think i would have smacked the physio!! I was a 36f and my ps took me down to a small c.
Hi, I think I'm one of a tiny few that managed NHs from uk on here. I literally went to docs, asked the question and she said about the bmi. I fell pregnant after that, so did nothing. Then 1 year after having my second baby, I lost weight and asked again. Told them I'd already lost the weight as I knew they'd tell me I had to do that. I'm a size 12/14 and weighed 10st4. I got to choose from 3 hospitals. I went to see surgeon, he measured me, weighed me and then I had photos taken. 9 months later I got a letter with my date. I am extremely lucky as I have 2 friends who have been waiting longer than me. I do have scoliosis so presume that's why no questions were asked. On day of surgery he said about size, I said e as I didn't want to look stupid for my frame, he said it wasn't worth the op if I didn't go to a d to dd. I'm glad he said that now, I don't think you get to choose your size on NHs? I actually now think they're too big, and am hoping they're still swollen. I'm currently wearing a 34 e sports bra, going to get new bra today hopefully so will update on size later!!!!! I am really pleased. My boobs look the exact same as they did before, just shrunk!!!! I was really worried about NHs, but was worrying about nothing!!!
Interesting read ladies thanks! Nice to see some uk gals here too! I had a private reduction nearly 3 weeks ago but my sister had an NHS BR about 2 years she went from a double GG to a B (she actually feels too small now, wish I had that problem) and had a BMI of over 25. You have the right to a referral at least, go back to the dr and ask again. I don't see why they would only reduce to a D? That doesn't really make sense as if you have a small frame then a D is still large so I think it is size estimated on individual body shape/size etc.
Also what was the Dr thinking saying you would be greatful for them one day? What a totally daft thing to say. I went to my nurses appointment last night and told her I thought mine were still too big...an she (with small boibs) said she'd kill for boobs like mine now. I couldn't believe it, that's my point they are still big! I don't want people with small boobs saying they'd live boobs like mine. I want to be the girl with small boobs!
I think the drs and nurses forget that its such a big issue for us, my gp was horrifyingly rude to me when I went to see her. I think I will book to go back and see I different Gp. Also my sister keeps telling me I shouldn't have a BR until I have child, I am only 22 and can not see children in my future for at least 6 years MINIMUM! does she have a point will they grow back or will they be really weird if I have it now and then go on to have children in the future..
Hello lovely, hope you are ok and are healing well. xx
