Removal in the Coming Months

UPDATED FROM Cinncinati357

First night

$2,000
I live in a high-rise apartment, and one of the above neighbours had a party until 5 in the morning, the guests kept slamming doors and going to the shared balcony for cigarettes all night.

So I have slept maybe 4 hours. Also, towards the night I had some more aching and some slight itching. I had to take another Panacod/Tylenol at 4 in the morning.

I am anxious to remove the bandages, but what I can peek from above, It looks like my skin is not crinkled at all!

Dear Malla, you are you doing? Did you get to remove your bandages, and is your recovery going well? Wishing you the best healing and hope you are getting plenty of rest and good care. - your Asian friend Luv. :))
Hi! Thank you for asking, I am doing great. I removed the bandages on day 3, now I have been natural for a week. The recovery is going very well, I would say I have no ache at all at the moment, and I have not had in a few days. I have a hard time staying in one place, I would like to exercise, but I have read that heavy aerobic training should be eased into after 6-8 weeks. I am a little concerned about getting out of shape, but planning on taking long walks instead during my recovery. Good thing there are audio books, so that I can lie down and rest. I am now wearing a sports bra, day and night. When did you stop wearing compression bras?
So good to hear that you are well! That is great you have not been in pain and are feeling like being active :) I kept wearing compression until it stopped feeling good. LOL. Mine felt very loose and like jelly at first, and compression felt so good. After a while, not so much. Now I am on my typical bra routine (underwire during day, sports bra for exercise, no bra for sleep). You will know how much compression you need by how they feel (as long as they have that "vulnerable" feeling when naked you should probably compress). Regarding excercise - yes, my doc said walking is very good to help recovery, and it is even in his post-op instructions to walk several times a day beginning immediately the day after surgery. Only heavy lifting, high impact cardio (running / anything making boobs bounce) or using arm motions was restricted for 6 weeks me. Hope you have some nice weather and can enjoy some walking! Take care.
Yay for you!! Continue to keep us updated! I'm glad you have no wrinkling!
You are a brave gal and you give me optimism that when my implants are removed If I am left flat chested, which is a real possibility, it is okay.
Hi Elephantlady, I am happy you find motivation. I have been doing great since I removed my implants. My recovery was so fast I can not really understand it myself. The ache endured for only a few days and ever since I have been very much me with myself. I wish you well on your journey towards your natural state.
Hi Malla, I had my implants taken out July 25 and they were a LOT larger than yours and I'm 62, a lot older. But I'm like you I didn't care how flat I was, before I had the Implants I was built like you, an A cup was too big for me. Now I actually have more but it is mostly just skin and I'm hoping eventually it will settle. My doctor told me it can take up to a year before you finally reach the final way it will stay. I know for it me it will take longer because my skin does not have as much elasticity as yours does. But I love being flat and when people I know see me, unless they are close friends, I just let them look. As long as I am happy I really don't care what they think. I think some of them think I had a mastectomy honestly and if they ask I will tell them the truth. I think you look beautiful the way you were and I'm sure your results will be too. Peace and God be with you!
How goes the healing? Hope your results are what you wanted, and you're doing well. Remember to be patient. I just got mine removed 2 weeks ago (after 7.5 months). I'm finding it hard to wait for the "final" results, but good things come to those who wait! =)

Some bleeding from one of the incisions

Throughout the day I have experienced some slight ache, but nothing bad. I am going to take one of the heavier pain medicines for the night (Panacod, with paracetamol and codeine). The pain killers I have been taking throughout the day are with ibuprofen).

Actually I have one tiny concern, and that is some bleeding that occurred earlier from one of the incisions. The hospital is closed during Saturday and Sunday, so I will call them first thing on Monday. I only hope the scar will not have torn open and is not ugly or something. It is probably nothing big, but still, unnecessary ugly scars is not something anyone wishes for. The amount of bleeding is also not much, just a few teaspoons.

Hi Malla, so glad you are only achy and not in much pain. Did your surgeon say it was ok to take ibuprophen? It thins the blood and increases bleeding. My PS was very strict with no ibuprofen use for 2 weeks before and after surgery. But if I didn't want to take the painkillers, Tylenol had to be the lesser alternative. Some seeping is common early on, I had quite a large area with blood on my bandages when they were opened 2 days post op, maybe the size of a small orange. xoxox

Hi, yes the ps is the one who gave the prescription for ibuprofen 600mg and the combination medicine that contains codeine and paracetamol, that is an equivalent to your Tylenol. Thank you for sharing your experience on seeping. How was the incision spot where the blood had seeped for you? And did you yourself decide to open the bandages after two days? Thing is, I am to open my bandages myself, and that I am allowed to do on day 3 to 5. Not sure yet when I want to do it.
Hi! By the time I opened the bandages 48 hours after surgery the seeping had stopped. I had to open them because they felt wet on the inside. I was very careful to pay attention how they bandaged me up as my daughter (21) and I took them off. I latex flat and air dried for 15-20 minutes then bandaged me up again the same way. I was much more comfortable after. It took about an hour cause we took our time getting them off and back on right.

Euphoria

I woke up after the operation and felt a bit shaky. It was like random spasms, so I told the nurse and she said it was normal, so I got something against the shakiness. Then I went back to sleep for an hour or so.

But I am feeling great! I can not get used to how little discomfort there is, hardly any feeling at all in my chest. Maybe it will come later when the heaviest drugs wear off. I am getting some pain killers from the hospital to survive over the weekend.

In this hospital, they prefer if some friend or relative stays with you for at least the first 24h. But my friend is coming over tomorrow, so I will be accopanied by the taxi driver to my door.

I started working out some again, a month ago, so I have lost 2kg of my "getting-comfortable-with-the-bf-weight". With my abs flatter, my chest back to petite, I feel I can conquer anything on my own. I am looking forward to even more personal development on my own as well, the last bf was not good for me, and as I think I said earlier, I think the implants were a desperate measure to try and save our relationship.

When I got to the hospital at 7:15 a nurse greeted me, recieved my paperwork about previous surgery and other questions about my health, that I had filled in.
Then I got to chose a bed in a row of nine beds, and noone else was here so I picked one by the wall.
All dressed in the fancy hospital clothes, I read my book. At 7:35 I got a pain killer before surgery, which was scheduled at 8:00.
At 7:50 the anesthesia doctor came, we talked about the problems I had with nausea during the augmentation. So I got a pill that dissolved on my tongue, to prevent nausea.

At 8:10 Erkki Suominen the ps came. He had a last look at my breasts, asked if I was still of the same opionion and I answered again about the mental issues, and that it is not comfortable to sleep on my stomach. I also dislike that they point ever so slightly down, and he said that the implants should indeed be a bit lower.
He then took a photo and went to put on his surgery clothes.

At 8:30 I walked to the surgery and the nice nurses were all around me and took very good care of me.
The anesthesia doctor came, started giving me his medicine, and I was pretty fast off to sleepy land.

When I get home I will try to take some pictures. But the bandages will be on for 5 days, so I have to wait until I see what is underneath. There are not stitches on the outside, only tape, and stitches that will dissolve.

Greetings from the happiest Malla!!!
