I am 37 yrs old and have 2 children ages 5 and 3. I had both of them via csection and gained 52 lbs with my first and 45 lbs with second. I am 5'2 and weigh 134. I am about a size 4-6. I have always been unhappy with my tummy but after having kids there is now belly fat as well as loose skin and separated stomach muscles.

PS is across the country so I haven't seen him since my consultation ages ago. Talking to him tomorrow finally and getting all my info! Very excited!
I workout a lot! I weight train 5 days per week and do cardio 6 days per week at least 30 min-1hr. After I get my BL and TT I will finally look like I should! It is so frustrating working out so much and not having the body I should! I have come to terms with my weight of 135 which I wish was lower but the muffin top of loose skin and separated muscles and saggy huge boobs have to go! 28 more days!

Day 2 po and I have gone to the bathroom!! Yippee!!! My mom wasn't happy to be up with me at 2 am and 4 am so that I could go but I was! Lol

I wasn't feeling well enough to post much until now so here it goes .
Day of surgery I arrived at 7:15 which was early and they took me right in. I did a prego test and put on bikini bottoms. I walked into the OR and my ps began taking pics and then drew all over me. Boobs and lipo areas. I laid on my tummy first so they could start with lipo. Anesthesiologist gave me my drugs and I was off to lala land. Woke up needing to pee right away and feeling no pain. Went home after that. I felt ok rest of the day. Pain started the next morning. I couldnt get comfortable. I finally started taking 2 Percs instead of one and that helped a lot. Am not sleeping well, back hurts and drain holes are sore. Boobs don't which is good but I am really swollen!
That's it for now. Will all be worth it in the end. Also helped that I went to the bathroom so soon after my surgery!

Today is po 4. Woke up nauseous on all the mess I assume. Am so sick of being uncomfortable and moody. Cried all morning! I am ready to be among the living. I tried to hang out outside the bedroom today but ended up back here at 3:30 pm. On the bright side No pain meds since this morning which is good for me. I am definitely having a day of "why did I do this to myself?" I hope it will get better from here. One thing I can honestly say is that I am glad I don't want anything else do e because I would NEVER do this again.

1 week po and am better. Got my drains out yesterday which was great! Hurt a lot! Walking better but my back still hurts. Slept better though. Am very swollen and concerned that my BB is going to be an outie! I hope not! My old BB was cute! Looking forward to Friday. Getting my stiches out on my breasts and TT incision. Right side of incision hurts and left side of left boob hurts! Hope it's from stiches. Tried to put on my CG at ps office yesterday instead of binder and couldn't because it hurt my TT incision on that one side so bad. Will try again Friday.

I am 5 weeks post op today and feeling pretty good. Looking forward to being able to work out fully at the gym. I am allergic to Vicryl sutures which are the dissolvable stiches used in TT. Just prolonged my healing in my incision but it is healing nicely so its ok. Just need to wait a little more to do more at the gym.

11 weeks post up and not thrilled. Belly isn't as flat as it should be and breasts are still same size. ps says it is swelling but I am gettting pretty skeptical at this point

Dr Reinke is a very nice doctor. Great bed side manner and is very knowledgeable. I would recommend him to others and would use him again in the future if I was crazy enough to get more plastic surgery!

You look awesome! I also rejected the stitches which caused my incision to open up which was very emotional for me because I had to be put to sleep again so my ps could redo it, the incision was lower then than it is now and it was also straight and now it sorta curves a lil in the front. thank goodness it is still low enough that you can't see it with a bathing suit. I'm 12 weeks out and it seems like I'm such a slow healer but finally starting to feel much better. still swelling and still have pulling in my lower tummy. take care!

Thanks for writing. I am also 12 weeks and feel better but am holding weight. I also opened up due to my allergy to the stiches. My dr didn't do anything though. He let it close on its own. I guess it wasn't open enough to close it and we wanted to avoid more stiches. I won't need a revision thank goodness! Glad you are feeling good!

Hi, I from jan tters and first want to say l love your loft bikini!! I'm a loft girl too!! I just got the new striped bikini just came on Thursday! I think you look awesome! I wish my upper belly were a bit flatter but for the most part I'm very thrilled with my results! I initially lost 10 lbs and its all back ever after excercise 5 days a week and 300 crunches most days! I enjoy wearing my workout clothes bc I'm not trying to hide my tummy, someone else said we are our own worst critics and I believe that !! The swelling can linger for a long time so try to be patient and I know how hard it can be but in the end it will pay off. We are a work in progress! I think our minds still have to catch up to our new bodies. Anyway I think you look awesome!

sassymomof3, thanks so much for writing! I wish my upper belly was flatter too. I was told it will be but who knows! I am trying to be happy with the results but some times I look at my self in clothes and see no difference! Naked yes i see a big difference in my belly but clothed not so much. I expected more I guess. Especiall in my back and my breasts haven't gone down in size yet even though I had a reduction. I haven't had a chance to look at your pics but I am sure you look great!

You look great! don't fret, i promise you, you are swollen! Give it some time and that 6 pack will be back with a vengeance! Im 7, almost 8 mts po and my weight still fluctuates about 3 or 4 pounds..can either be 125 or down to 121, but at 11 weeks i may have been around 8 to 10 pounds bigger due to all the swelling. You look great! Dont worry! :-)

Thanks you so much! I am 6 lbs more than I was pre surgery and it is driving me nuts! I am glad to hear this is probably swelling because I have some love handles on my hips and my belly bulges a bit. :-(. You look fantastic by the way. I saw your pics! Hope I will look as good!

Thanks so much for the compliment...it was a long time coming! I too had those luv handles and was worried...and my belly bulged too....i was super worried abt all those things, but they all eventually went away! Also you look a lot better than i did with the swelling at 11 weeks! i looked pregnant for a while there! LOL You look good, hang in there...

Mommy in AZ, hope you're feeling better now! I'm dying to know how you feel now being a few weeks out about Dr. Reinke. Good? Bad? Criticisms? I see Dr. Reinke in 2 weeks for my TT. I'm just curious to hear about your results. Are you going to post any new pics soon? :D

It feels so much better with out drains! I am finally able to wear underwear! My drains were in my pubic area.

Hey ladies, doing good! Drains are out. Walking around better. Am really swollen but that is to be expected. Hardly any bruising from my lipo which is great! I still won't do it again if I need to! :-)

Mommy this is rough surgery no doubt about it and the results take awhile to see i have had a bad recovery but I can say I would do it all over again just to have that off me, and on day 2 I was like WTH did I do? I finally gave birth to a BM geez I feel so much better!!! This is tough stuff but in the end we are going to be thrilled, just hang in there, you are lucky to be with your mom!

It will get better and the day will come when you will say " I would do it again in a heart beat" I promise. The only thing you have to do is remind youself that this is a PROCESS, also do your best to not judge yourself for 6 months. Keep reminding yourself, NO judgement until 6 months, and you will get through.

take care, each day gets better, then there can be a few setback. RELAX and think this will be the LAST time in your life you get to sit back and relax and focus on you!
