had the 7-10 day recovery life style lift 1 month ago. worst pain i ever felt. developed death threatening infection and was hospitalized for 2 weeks ... sure grateful i took the advice of a friend and sought treatment after 2 weeks and was told it wasn't looking any better, but worse. if you want a death sentence try it. you couldn't pay me enough $$$ to go through this again. had 2nd surgery in hospital; might need to consult another doc. to correct major errors from this so called "life style lift".

Negligence from the very beginning ... worst pain I ever felt. First post op visit revealed infection, although nurse and doc. denied. Why was I put on different antibiotic? 2nd post op visit visit totally negligent ... infection fully blown and after short debridement, doc. said "okay I'll see you in a couple of weeks." 2 days later I was hospitalized for 13 days and still recovering on strong antibiotics and follow-up visits to several docs.

I'm slowly recovering, but it will take some time. Will be going to see another "real plastic surgeon" soon. Thanks for your concern.

I get the shivers every time I look at those photos. :-S I really hope everything works out for you. I'll keep my fingers crossed and please keep us posted on how you're doing, when you feel up to it.

OMG, this is awful. I am so very sorry that you are having to suffer through this. I am so sorry. I only wish I could do anything at all to help. Just know that many other women that have posted here at realself know how you feel. It is a disgrace and shame that this company continues to have similar issues and complaints from all around the country. Please keep us informed and let us know how you are doing. I would like to advise any person who is considering this SURGERY to go and get a 2nd opinion from a private ABCPS in private practice. As seen in many posts here at realself, just because you have great advertising and infomercials does not mean that you will get the best money can buy. Remember you only have one face, hopefully one you can recognize after the surgery. Best, Chrystal Eckes.

Detroit 1419: OMG...I AM SO SORRY. I had some real problems with mine as well but am thankful every day that I didn't die or develop an infection.

My heart just breaks. PLEASE...GO TO THE LOCAL TV STATION.......tell them to hide your id.....they are our only help. AND THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL....PLEASE......

I will say prayers for you.....

reading all the posts on this "procedure" has changed my mind. i'm not going to even think about the LSL anymore!

That is most likely a methicillin-resistant Staph infection which can be fatal. Lifestyle Lift has these frequently because they do not fully sterilize their instruments and they don't operate in a sterile operating room - it is more of an office room. You should definitely sue them for your suffering and damage, and going to a local TV station is the best way to prevent this from happening to others.

instructions

but did not suffer what you did...

I am very sorry for you
and wish you would please email me


I am only left with permanent scars

I too had mine done in Troy ,the Dr ,I will call her Dr D ..came in looked at me and looked dismayed ?
She continued with the procedure all the while she never asked me one question and was quite rough on me with cutting and pulling. Do NOT believe when they say you dont feel a thing . I left the office in shock ,nobody asked me to come back ,not even to remove the 65 stitches ?? Only to realize theres no change in my jowels or neckline !
Noone ever called to see how I made out ? everyhting was quite secretive there ,when I went to pay I asked her at the desk again how much and she whispered it to me ? I should of ran in the oposite direction !And
dont believe that there all plastic surgeons of the face !I later found out that my Dr was a foot surgeon !! Be very careful when choosing who does this to your face !

Sounds like a familiar scenario. I get soooooooooooooooo angry every time I see their commercials every day. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

I will be posting my story. Oh my God what a shame what they did to you. You do need to go to the news media. I can remember sitting in the waiting room and on their T.V. they were showing when channel 4 was doing a report on them. And it wasn't the Hall of Shame. More people need to know what is going at the Troy office. I just pray everything turns out ok for you. Good Luck.

Wow, I'm really scared now. I went yesterday to a consult in Beverly hills, I was not satisfied with their vedio because they never showed the procedure or anyone after the procedure. Just how they looked a month later. I asked if anyone was dissatisfied or if anything could
go wrong those questions were passed up. I didn't feel I was being told everything up front and honestly. My consult seemed more like a sales pitch. And not surgical procedure, I also thought I would be talking to a doctor since this is surgery. I have decided to go to a plastic surgeon's office and get another opinion this is your face after all. These reviews have been very informative. Corinne

I am hoping to get someone to take my picture today

and hopefully I can post it some where here....


and I am 5 years out....

I think the worst was not having drains placed after having
a full lift. I went in there thinking I would have 3 sutures behind each ear and came out with about 40 ( on each side)
the scars look like someone sewed my face back on.

I got this lift to try and help my low self esteem and it certainly made that worse!! I always think people are looking at my
face and neck.



I am not saying all LSL office's are bad

but mine was.

I think that is a good idea. I think one of these investigative reporters should warn the public. I, too, had a LSL and it turned out horrible, I was worse than when I started! I just spent over $10,000 with a real plastic surgeon to correct it. He told me that LSL uses shortcuts and it is not good surgery. These people need to be put out of business.
