Hi Ladies, I hope you are all feeling good about your new figure!
It has been 4 weeks, 5 days for me. What a ride of emotions and physical differences!
I am happy with my new breasts, the implants have filled in my skin that deflated after breast feeding and with age I guess. Plus, they are larger than I am used to, my clothes fit better and look better, without padded bras.
Emotionally, it has been hard. I struggled with the desision for a long time. Then even after I thought it may have been a mistake. Now that all the swelling has gone down, and Im not in pain, I'm feeling better about it all.
I must say, the size you see at the consult when choosing a size is very misleading.
I had three options for a natural look that would fit my body. 280, 315, or 355cc shaped silicone. I highly recommend you go with what you feel comfortable with but also, what the ps recommends. He said the 280 may not fill my skin, and would likely need a lift on one side also. The 355cc would come out the side under my arm a bit, so 315cc was the one. It was a good choice for me, but now that the swelling has gone down, it doesn't seem as big as the samples in the office. I went under also, so that is a factor.
I just wanted to let those out there still waiting for their surgery to be aware.
I still can't lift my arms up comfortably, shaving my arm pits is still difficult.
I highly recommend the laser hair removal there, I started, but still have some sessions to go. I wonder if anyone else feels this way?? my nipples are still very sensitive too.
They are much softer now, but not too soft..:) I think I still have some dropping to come also. I like how I still have nice perky breasts when I lay down on my back! They don't disappear anymore!!lol
I'm going to squeeze into a sports bra and attempt my first run this evening since the surgery. Wish me luck!

3 weeks, 3 days post op update
wow, has it really been 3 weeks!! I'm feeling pretty good about my new figure now. It was a little hard at first and the usual doubts come along, esp when its painful. The size is right for me. I asked for a natural look, to fill in the loose breast tissue from breast feeding, and thats whatI got. They look fabulous, yet Im not obvious that I've had a ba to family, friends and work. My bf bought me a really nice dress, its is bare back and low front, long skirt. Very elegant. I put it on with no bra and could hardly recognize how great I looked!! yeah!! confidence booster for sure! He loves how I look too. The bloating has finally gone now...however....the place I had a needle for an antiinflammatory the day of in the leg, still hurts. Has anyone else had this problem? the whole muscle on my leg hasn't got back to normal. going to see dr about it soon.
Sleeping better tho! thanks for all the support and info!

I'm not sure why, but for the last few days my nipples have become super sensitive! I can literally feel teh rubbing on my bra every time I move...has anyone else experienced this? I finally took the steri strips off at 2 and a half weeks. Everything looks like its healing nicely..thank goodness! I didn't get the silicone strips, my ps didn't promote them. So Im just using bio oil, I hope that is enough. The swelling has gone down, so I feel more like the size I will be. Still not sure when is a good time to go get myself a new bra.??? Oh, I saw a bra ad for a wireless, supportive, attractive bra, it's called the UNwire bra by warner. sold at the Bay. I think i will check that out! they look really nice, without the wire!
I hope you are feeling good lately!

I had my BA on April 25 and already have new bras! I went at 2 weeks and they are so big! Lol...if your swelling is gone, then go for it! Your measurements won't change, so it's safe :)
You had your BA one day before mine! I'm going to get a bra tonight! :) Thanks!
